Austin ran a hand through his hair and sighed in frustration. The last few days have been nothing short of hell for him. He knew that letting Sarah go under the radar with no means to contact her was going to make him worry to death. He keeps expecting his phone to ring any minute to inform him that they found his sister's body or something like that. He knew that this was the downside of his profession, he always sees the worst in everything.


But, still, this wasn't the end of his troubles. Soon after the arrest of Eva Wattani, the higher-ups pulled rank on him and ordered him to hand the case down to one of his subordinates. Austin had no choice but to obey, thankful that at least he could monitor the case like that.
