The Discussion

Elias walked through the spacious hallways of his parent's house with Sarah's hand in his. Their conversation was long overdue, and they both had been avoiding it. They reached the back door and it led them into the garden. he stepped through taking her to one of the secluded spots where a bench seat sat there facing the view.

"To think that you would take me to a romantic spot like this," Sarah muttered as she sat down," Who are you and what did you do with Elias?"

"I'm not that callous," He muttered as he sat beside her knowing that this was a losing argument.

She chuckled at that, "Said the guy who asked me to marry him as we were having a fast lunch at a diner,"

"Well, at that moment, I knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you, so I simply voiced my thoughts."

"And that's what I liked so much about it," Sarah responded with a small smile

"I know that, after all, you agreed to marry me." He said pulling her into his arms
