Leilah's head was hurting, but it wasn't the same as the pounding she'd suffered from through the night. She shifted on her bed and opened her eyes to find herself in an unfamiliar place, she looked at the IV drip on her bedside and wondered what she was doing in the hospital, but then everything came to her.


The inheritance, the car crash, Hunter and bleed everywhere. She sat up in a panic and looked around her frantically, was her nephew okay? God, the crash happened on his side of the car...


"Leilah, calm down everything is okay," 


Leilah turned toward the voice to find Ray coming to sit on her bedside, she clutched his arms and asked,


"No, Hunter is safe and sound and it's all thanks to you..." Ray told her with a smile as he circled his arms around her not quite hugging her but enveloping her in his warmth.
