Chap. 20

3rd person's POV;

Huge stacks of paper lay flat on the desk.

The angel who checked it seems to love his work so much he didn't realize there's another angel fly in the room.

"Onew"

Onew didn't hear it so the angel slam his fist on the desk, making Onew jump.

"Onew!"

"Y-yes! Damn it Jonghyun. What do you want?"

Onew slowly rubbing his chest, still feeling his heart beating fast.

"Do you know what just happened? Do you?"

Jonghyun looks so scary when he gets angry and Onew knew something is wrong. Putting down the quill, he take off his glasses and put it on the desk.

"I have to say no. Care to enlighten me? Where's Taemin by the way? He's always glued to you everywhere you go"

Jonghyun finally recovered to his normal state. Taking a few deep breathes, he smiles when Onew ask about Taemin, the youngest angel in the Kingdom. Also, the young angel kinda attach himself with Jonghyun.

"Queen Moon requested to take a walk with him. Maybe about getting his new wings. Just maybe"

Yes, Taemin is a wingless angel. He lost it during a battle between angels and demons. The battle was ensued due to Kris's downfall. Onew, Minho and Jonghyun were in the first line of combat while Taemin's in second. During the fight, Taemin was sword-fighting with one of the demons. That time, his powers were already drained out so good thing he brought a sword with him.

What he didn't know, the demon that fought Taemin made a signal to the other demons to ganged up. One of them succeed to throw away Taemin's sword and instantly cutting his wings down.

Fortunately, Jonghyun felt something's off and he went to search for him. There he was, lying on his back with his wings besids him, all covered up with his blood. The scene itself already manage to make Jonghyun's body tremble in anger.

With only one simple gesture, all of the demons turned to ice. He then carried Taemin's body and flew away to the Kingdom in order to save his life.

Since then, Jonghyun became General of War for his outstanding power to finish of the demons in the last battle. All of the angels respect him. But most of them fear of him for what he may do to the Kingdom. Nonetheless, Jonghyun still treated every one of the angel equally.

No more, no less.

"Oh, I hope he doesn't thought about the battle"

"That battle leaves a scar in every one of us. But mostly Taemin. He's the one who lost his wings, not us."

Onew nod his head, unable to find a reply. He knows Jonghyun still feel guilty not be able to save Taemin in time before he lost his wings.

"Let's not..remember the past. More to the point, why're you here?"

"Say, do you know Minho just broke the law?"
