Chap. 31

3rd person's POV;

"Now, would you tell us why did you broke the law just for an ordinary human girl? Do you not care of your obligations of being an angel? You just have to protect the girl, not to love her. Guardian Angels are forbid to fall in love with humans. I assume you already know that, haven't you?"

An angel who sits behind the desk seems to be so angry with Minho's action who carelessly broke the sacred law in the Kingdom. Minho was the first angel in angel's history who has violate the law in the name of love.

Both King Theodore and Queen Moon sat on the other wing of the court, witnessing an angel defending his right.

"You have to understand why I did it! If I didn't do it, then I'm not qualified to be a guardian just because I broke the law!"

"You should've remain invisible until her birthday came but you didn't. Care to enlighten us?" He asked with a smug.

Minho felt he's going to change any minute if he couldn't control his rage. But after he thinks about her, he calmed down. Things would be worse if he done anything stupid and if he did, he might never see her again.

"All I wanted was to keep her safe. Safe in my arms after hiding under the radar for so long. To hold her again was the part of my dreams. I know guardians like us have to obey the law but we know that one day, we might have to break it in order to save human lives.

Isn't that our top priority of protecting human? Human saying goes laws are meant to be broken. By now, I know what they meant. Sometimes, we don't have to abide the law as the law can be bend for certain reasons, don't you think, Wise Angel?"

Gasps were heard in the court room after Minho finished his talk. Even Jonghyun and Onew who also attend, surprised by his confidence.

The Wise Angel were obviously taken back with what he said. He never expect an angel such as Minho would say something that would make him regret. He glance the Hignessess and saw King Theodore and Queen Moon both nodded and smile.

The Wise Angel seems to be happy with their responses and turn to Minho who's waiting patiently.

"Will you do anything to redeem your mistake in order to protect her again, Minho?"

Minho nod vigorously as if his neck almost snapped.

"Then, you will stay in the prison for tonight. You will be released at the break of dawn. You are dismissed."

Minho lowered his head down, trying to hide his disappointment because he thought he could go back tonight. Two angels on his side brought him to his cell and locked the door, guarding him outside.

"Where's Taemin, by the way?"

Jonghyun asked after he realized the young angel hasn't been seen since yesterday. Onew who flew beside him shrugged.

"Don't ask me, you're the one who's always with him" Onew replied and look away. He didn't have the strength to look Jonghyun in the eyes as the general can sense something was wrong.

Jonghyun gave him a questioning look but didn't ask further.

"I'm going to Art's. You can go" after Jonghyun said that, he flew away leaving Onew alone.

On the other hand, Onew began to panic when Jonghyun mentioned Art. Art is an angel who constantly check angels whereabouts if he or she fly down to Earth and that must be recorded.

He did told Art about Taemin's little vacation that was made under Queen Moon's order and he didn't want Art to tell any other angel especially Jonghyun.

What made him panic was today is Tuesday.

Tuesday is where Art will be having a change of personality. Onew just remembered he didn't told any of those things to the other Art. He called himself Archy.

All angels feels extremely annoying with Archy as he always ramble about himself but always true to his words.
