Hero Work-Studies! The Road to the World Tournament!

I couldn't be any more excited and anxious for this whole tournament! This'll definitely make up for this year's Sports Festival! As soon as Mr. Aizawa entered the classroom, I told him about our team.

"Mabel Leonidus? You're talking about your daughter from another time? I'm fairly certain we can work some strings, being that she is technically a member of U.A. High, regardless of where she might be from." Mr. Aizawa told me.

"Alright, thank you, Mr. Aizawa." I replied.

I returned to my desk and waited for further instruction. Then, a thought hit my head, it was what Mikaboshi told me a couple days ago. The marking on my forehead resembled some sort of higher status? As Mr. Aizawa finished his usual morning greeting, Ectoplasm came in to give us back our tests and allowed those of us that didn't get a good score to retake another test to see if they can improve. With that being said, I tapped Momo on the arm to get her attention.

"Hey, babe, can you make a mirror for me please?" I quietly asked.

"Yes I can, give me one moment, please." She whispered back.

She started to create a mirror from her thigh, it didn't take her too long to create it. Momo handed it to me and I looked at myself. If I was gonna study this marking, I needed to draw it, which shouldn't really be too much of an issue. I went into Infinite Mode and drew the symbol down onto my notebook. As I finished up, the classroom door slid open.

"Midoriya, Bakugo, Leonidus, Todoroki. I need you to come with me." Mr. Aizawa announced.

We got up from our desks and left the room. I made sure to deactivate Infinite Mode before I left. I wonder where we were going? We followed Mr. Aizawa to the 1-A classroom. He opened the door and walked in.

"Alright everyone, I'd like you to meet this school's Big Four. These guys have been the most impressive out of the student's I teach in their class, although they all are rather remarkable. These..." Mr. Aizawa began.

We walked into the class room, "...Are U.A.'s Big Four."

"Big Four? Aren't there usually only three of them?" A student asked.

"That would be correct, but in this case, these four are the most exceptional out of Class 3-A. They're also the strongest students in all of Japan, their feats and accolades are tremendous, much like their Quirks. I've brought them here to explain the Hero Work-Studies you'll be participating in. Don't get yourself all riled up either, I know you just got back from that tournament, so you won't be starting them until Tuesday next week. The same goes for Classes 2-A and 3-A, once they finish the tournaments, regardless of the results, they'll be conducting their Hero Work-Studies as well." Mr. Aizawa explained.

Mr. Aizawa nodded at us and let us take the floor. I gotta say, these kids look really interested! I decided to speak up first.

"Heya! My name is Alyx Leonidus, it's a pleasure to meet you all! My Quirks are 'Overdrive' and 'Rage'. My Overdrive Quirk boosts my speed and strength, alongside my other senses! I'm pretty sure you guys can guess what my Rage Quirk is. Nonetheless, I'm super excited to be talking with you guys about your Hero Work-Studies!" I beamed.

Deku, Bakugo, and Shoto introduced themselves and their Quirks as well. I could tell that some of the students were excited, intimidated, and interested in not only us, but these Hero Work-Studies.

"So, these Hero Work-Studies are like internships?" A girl asked.

"Yeppers! They're similar to them, but they're closer to a real hero experience. You'll be treated more as sidekicks and you'll take on the role of one! You'll be working with whatever agency you contact for at least a month unless any problem arises. I'm assuming you all have passed your Provisional License Exams, yes?" I further explained.

"Most of them have, yes. Only two of them didn't." Mr. Aizawa answered.

I nodded at his statement and we explained a bit more about our experiences and what they should most likely expect from it. There were two students in particular that caught my eye. One was a boy with white, fluffy hair, his eyes were a rather pearly-gray. The other was a girl that bore identical features to him, her hair was long and wavy, she had it into a rather poofy looking side bun. I used my telepathy to ask Mr. Aizawa a question.

"Hey, Mr. Aizawa, who are those two kids sitting in the middle left?" I wondered.

"Those are Tsukumo and Mizuki Nakamura. As you can probably tell, they're twins. Tsukumo's Quirk is called 'Cloud Body' and Mizuki's is called 'Lunar Wave'." He told me.

[Several Hours Later...]

As I sat down at lunch with Momo, I heard a set of footsteps come towards us.

"Leonidus-Senpai! Yaoyorozu-Senpai!" I heard two people call out.

I looked up and saw Tsukomo and Mizuki approaching us. Tsukumo sat down next to me and Mizuki sat down next to Momo.

"Oh? Sen... pai? What's that?" I questioned.

"Well, 'senpai' is used when talking to someone either older or more experienced, darling." Momo informed me.

The twins nodded in agreement, "Yep! That's right!"

"So, we were wondering if you could help us out with our Hero Work-Studies. Do you think that we could do our Work-Studies with you?" Tsukumo added.

"Sure! I think I could work some strings. Momo and I were thinking about conducting our Hero Work-Studies with Rabbit Hero: Mirko. Either her, Ryukyu, Endeavor, or the Big Three Agency." I agreed.

"R-REALLY?!" The twins exclaimed.

I nodded at them. I think those two would really benefit from doing their Hero Work-Studies with Mirio, Nejire, and Amajiki. I was really interested to see what their Quirks look like in action!

"Hey, why don't you two come along with us after school this evening? We're deciding on an agency at the moment." Momo suggested.

"O-Okay! Thank you so much, Leonidus-Senpai, Yaoyorozu-Senpai!" Mizuki beamed.

They left our table and I returned my attention to Momo. She leaned forward and wiped the corner of my mouth off with her thumb.

"You had rice right there, love." She giggled.

I wiped my mouth off, "Thank you! I guess I decided to save it for later! Anyways, I think we should do our Hero Work-Studies with Lemillion, Nejire-Chan, and Suneater. I think that Tsukumo and Mizuki would really benefit from it. I'm sure they could teach them some things."

"Indeed, I believe they could as well. Are you sure you aren't in the market for another pair of students?" Momo replied.

"Trust me, I'd be feeling what Mr. Aizawa's been feeling for the past however long he's been teaching!" I chuckled.

[Later That Day...]

Momo and I waited for the Nakamura twins outside of school. It didn't take them too long to navigate their way over to us.

"Okay, we'll be heading to the Big Three Agency, it'd be easier and faster to fly there. Can you guys fly?" I told them.

"Uhm... No, at least my sister can't. I can fly using my Quirk, it allows me to turn into a cloud and I can condense it to use as a weapon." Tsukumo responded.

I put my arms to the side, "Well, all aboard the Leonidus Express!"

Their eyes lit up with joy and in the blink of an eye, they were right next to me, Momo hopped on my back and we took off.

[15 Minutes Later...]

"Whew! That was fun!" I laughed.

"I-I t-t-think we'll w-walk home, L-Leonidus-S-Senpai." Mizuki shuddered.

We walked into the agency building and were met by Nejire.

"Hey, hey! What brings you all here? Oh! Are you here for your Hero Work-Studies?" Nejire bubbled.

"Yeah! I've brought some First Years along with us as well. This two are Tsukumo and Mizuki Nakamura, they asked if they could come along after that tournament." I confirmed.

Nejire floated down to us, "Well, it's a pleasure to meet you! You two look interesting, are you twins? I bet you are!"

"Oh... Are these... Who we'll be taking with us next week, Nejire?" I heard Amajiki ask.

"Amajiki! You're out of your office! I'm glad you decided to leave!" Nejire beamed.

We talked with Nejire and Amajiki about the Hero Work-Studies stuff. They were more than happy to let Tsukumo and Mizuki join Momo and I! As we left the agency, the twins decided to walk home instead of having me fly them home.

Momo leaned over to look at me, "So, do you think those friends of yours from Nevada will be at this tournament?"

"I hope so! I'd love to fight against them! Honestly, I'm curious to see what kind of Quirks we'll encounter." I replied.

"We should at least attempt a quick sweep of the competition. Having something drawn on for long like the Universal Hero Tournament would be not so ideal." Momo remarked.

"Aww... But that tournament was actually fun! Despite the whole Tomikoa stuff." I whined.

"Speaking of her," Momo mentioned, "You wouldn't happen to have helped someone out that looks exactly like her, right?"

"W-Well... She may or may not've ran into me while I was coming home from that internship with the Wild, Wild Pussycats." I nervously laughed.

She slowly leaned over my shoulder and looked at me. Holy fucking shit, she's going to murder me while we're flying, I could already feel it.

"My lord, I believe your maiden is rather... Upset." Mikaboshi observed.

"Y-Yeah... Upset is an understatement!" I fretted.

She closed her eyes and smiled, "So, would you care to give me the details of these outings, Alyx Sienna Leonidus?"

Oh shit... She used my full name... I'm REALLY going to fucking die, I guess I had a rather good run, telling her the truth is definitely going to seal that deal for me.

"U-Um... T-That's a great idea, Momz! I-I uh... Sort of stumbled upon the actual Tomikoa and she's a rather shy person! S-She's not evil like the one that put you in the hospital, she's really kind!" I confessed.

"Oh, alright!" Momo bubbled.

I internally let out a sigh of relief, as we landed back down at the dorms, she smacked the back out my head!

"H-HEY! What's was that for?!" I exclaimed.

"That was for not telling me about it until now. All you told me was that you bumped into her." Momo chided.

After a near death experience, we entered the dorms. It felt like nobody was in, I searched for everyone's Heat Energies, but they were all quite far away.

"Well, it seems as if we've got the whole place to ourselves for a while." I observed.

There was no response from Momo. I turned around and saw her rather dreary expression.

I walked over to her, "What's on your mind?"

"It's just that I wish you'd take me on those adventures of yours or at least tell me about them. It's awfully mundane sitting here at the dorms by myself." Momo expressed.

"Well if that's the case, I'll just take you out more, there's no harm in that. If you're wanting to go somewhere, I can take you." I cooed.

I placed my fingers on the corners of her mouth and raised her frown. Momo kept a slight smile up and hugged me.

"I'm exhausted, darling. May we retire to my room?" Momo asked.

I looked at the clock, it read 5:50, "I suppose so, I'm gonna go get changed then."

I went upstairs to my room to get changed into my usual sweatpants and t-shirt. I heard my drawer slide open and turned around to see Momo looking through my drawer. I guess I kind of forgot she has clothes in my room as well. I returned my attention to getting dressed, as I finished up, I felt a skirt pelt the back of my head.

"Hey, you know I won't hesitate to start a clothes throwing war, you kno-" I stopped as I turned around.

All she was wearing was my batta t-shirt, Momo grabbed the back of the shirt and bunched it up until it outlined her figure. As soon as she did it, I subconsciously went into Gear Five as I looked at her. The wink she gave me sealed the deal for me. I walked over and picked her up over my shoulder.

"Aie!" She giggled and squealed.

"I'm gonna give you the biggest fucking cuddles in the entire universe." I told her.

We made it to her room and we crashed down into her bed. I pressed my face up against her as I cuddled her.

"Hey, Momo, I gotta tell you something. It's important!" I whispered.

Momo moved her head a bit, "What? What is it?"

I gave her a kiss and then smiled at her.

"I love you!" I beamed.

Now that I'm realizing it, I don't know why I was so upset with myself. Especially when I have people like Deku and Momo by my side, or well, pretty much the entirety of the dorms. The tournament was in just a couple of days now and my mind was fiending for a fight!
