*THIRD PERSON*
"Come on... Pick up already..." Shota Aizawa muttered.
He looked out of the conference room window as he called Darren Leonidus. He finally picked up after a couple seconds.
"Hello?" Darren answered.
"Hey, Darren, it's Aizawa. I wanted to talk to you about the Entrance Exam that U.A. is holding tomorrow." Aizawa replied.
"Oh, what about it? I heard that there was one for the recommended students." He responded.
"Yes, but however, we've decided to put him in the non-recommended Entrance Exam to see his Quirk in action. He won't need to take the written exam from this one, I'll be holding the Recommended Written Exam after tomorrow. Of course, he'll be guaranteed acceptance into U.A. once he completes the written portion." Aizawa informed him.
"Okay, that doesn't really sound bad at all. What time's this exam?" Darren wondered.
"At Noon tomorrow, Darren. He'll be excused from the written portion of the test." Aizawa told him.
"Gotcha, I'll let him know! Thank you!" Darren smiled.
*ALYX'S P.O.V.*
I sat up in my room looking through some of my Manga. There was a knock on my door and my Dad walked in.
"Hey, kiddo, that Entrance Exam for U.A. is tomorrow at Noon. You aren't going to be doing the written part of that exam though." Dad informed me.
"Oh, okay! That sounds pretty easy to me." I nodded.
"I wouldn't say that, knowing U.A., they've got something rather interesting planned for you all." Dad replied.
[The Next Day...]
I didn't realize that there were this many people attending this Entrance Exam! It felt like there were hundreds of kids around this place! I looked in front of me and saw some kid trip on his feet as he stood at the entrance of U.A.
"W-Woah, hey!" I called out.
Luckily, some girl was there to catch him! I walked over to the two of them as they were talking.
"Sorry, I would've helped you, but I guess I was a bit too slow. Nice save though, by the way! You wouldn't want to get hurt right before the Exam, eh?" I chuckled.
The green haired kid seemed a bit too star struck at the moment. As the girl left he wildly smiled almost out of proudness to himself. I poked him on the shoulder to break him out of his trance.
"Hey, are you alright?" I questioned.
"Huh?! Wha!? Oh, I'm okay, thank you!" He quickly responded.
I nodded and we both walked into U.A. together, I could tell he was nervous just by the way he was looking. Although he was somewhat confident as well.
"Hey, what's your name?" I asked.
"M-My name is Izuku Midoriya, what about you?" He told me.
"My name is Alyx Leonidus, is a pleasure to meet you, Midoriya-san!" I bubbled.
He looked a bit shocked at my kindness, "It's nice to meet you as well, Leonidus-san. Say... Did you go to school here?"
"No, I'm actually from America. I came here not too long ago to attend U.A., I was actually recommended but they wanted me to take this Entrance Exam." I answered.
"Wait, are you that kid that took out that Giant Villain? That was amazing! Your Quirk is something else, I saw footage of it online." Izuku beamed.
"Yep! That was me! I was honestly completely scared out of my mind, but it was worth saving that girl." I replied.
We entered a huge auditorium and sat down next to each other. More and more people filed into the room after a few minutes. Soon, a rather eccentrically dressed man with extremely long, upright blonde hair walked onto the main stage.
"GOOOOOOOOD AFTERNOON U.A. HIGH! I'm your host, Present Mic! Welcome to your Entrance Exam! Before we get into the real deal, we're gonna have all of you partake in a written exam!" He announced.
Everyone was given a written exam besides me, I couldn't wait to really get this exam started! I wonder what we'd be doing during this?
[30 Minutes Later...]
I left a bus among a group of students, I noticed that everyone was marveling over how huge this battle center was. I looked over and saw that I was in the same group as Izuku! I guess I wasn't really paying attention to who I was grouped up with. He tried to approach that one girl that saved him from falling but was stopped by some guy with glasses. I decided to move towards the middle of the group as I unzipped my jacket and adjusted my sweatpants.
"Woah... Isn't that the kid that saved that girl from that Giant Villain a while ago?" I heard someone mutter.
Some people muttered amongst themselves about me, I guess I really did make a name for myself! Shortly, we heard Present Mic shout at us that the exam was starting!
*THIRD PERSON*
As the gates opened, Leonidus jumped over the dense crowd of exam takers, being the first to enter Battle Center B. He found a group of robots worth 2 points each. He smirked at them before charging forward.
"Wow, that kid's got some spunk, eh?" Snipe chuckled.
"He's capable of moving that fast only in his Base Mode... Incredible... His memory might be lost but he most definitely still has the moves." All Might remarked.
As the exam went on, Leonidus racked up points as fast as he could, he finished off a 3 point robot before he heard a rumbling. He looked over and saw the huge 0 point robot villain, it raised one of its fists and slammed it into the ground. Huge amounts of wind and dust blew across the Battle Center. But through the dense dust, Leonidus saw that someone had been trapped underneath some rubble, and the giant robot was going to launch another strike to the ground right where she was! As the other exam takers ran, Leonidus darted forward towards the robot. The girl closed her eyes as the fist came down to her, she heard the fist hit something, and she opened her eyes.
"H-Hey... A-Are y-y-you... O-Okay?" Alyx asked.
"You... I can't move my leg, I-I... I'm stuck!" She told him.
Leonidus grit his teeth as he tried his best to hold back the robot's huge fist. The ground beneath Alyx's feet slightly shattered as the weight of the robot's fist started to set in. Izuku stopped crawling on the ground and looked behind him. He saw a faint plea for help in Alyx and the girl's face as he stared at the two of them. Izuku remembered the girl's words and Alyx's before getting off his feet and running towards the robot. He quickly jumped into the air with his fist reeled backwards. The right sleeve of his tracksuit ripped off as his used One For All at 100%.
"SMAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH!!" He roared.
His fist connected with the robot's face, demolishing it completely! The robot began to fall backwards as parts of it exploded, Leonidus quickly freed and grabbed the girl before jumping out of the way from the exploding robot. Leonidus looked up into the sky and saw Izuku.
"𝘏𝘰𝘭𝘺 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘭... 𝘞𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵... 𝘏𝘪𝘮? 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘻𝘪𝘯𝘨!" Alyx thought.
Alyx dove into the air as Izuku fell screaming from the sky. He grabbed him with his free arm as he had the girl in his other.
"Geez! Thanks for the save, Midoriya-san! I didn't know how long I could keep that thing from squashing us!" Leonidus smiled.
"I can't feel anything..." Izuku wearily replied.
*ALYX'S P.O.V.*
I landed down on the ground with Izuku and that girl. Somehow, both of his legs were broken! Some elderly woman who I'm assuming is U.A.'s nurse came out to aid Izuku and the girl. Thankfully, the girl wasn't hurt badly, but Izuku had to be carried out on a stretcher and sent to her office. I still couldn't believe the amount of strength he had to one shot a giant robot! I could tell everyone else was feeling the same way as well. The exam was finally over, everyone was dismissed back to the bus to U.A.
[25 Minutes Later...]
I left the changing room right as that girl did. I stopped to look at my phone to see if Annie had arrived yet.
"Hey, thank you for helping me out back there, I would've been a goner without you!" She greeted.
"Oh, no problem! It's not my first rodeo with giants." I chuckled.
"Wait... I knew I recognized you from somewhere! You're Alyx Leonidus, right? I'm Ochako Uraraka, it's a pleasure to meet you!" She grinned.
I nodded at her with a smile, "Yep, you'd be right! It's a pleasure to meet you as well."
"So, I've got a question, do you think that we could give our points away from the exam?" Uraraka wondered.
"Hmm... I'm not sure, I don't see why not? Why? Were you going to give it to that kid that saved us?" I answered.
"W-Well, yeah, I was going to. I've been thinking about it, nobody else besides you and him actually tried to save me, plus I didn't see him do a whole lot of fighting either." She confirmed.
"We can at least ask, I'm sure they'll understand, I was just thinking about doing the same thing." I replied.
Uraraka and I navigated through the school, we stopped in front of a conference room as we heard people talking inside. She opened the door and peeked her head inside.
"E-Excuse me, Present Mic, are guys busy?" Uraraka asked.
"No, we aren't, is there something wrong?" Present Mic responded.
Uraraka and I walked inside of the room, "No, it's... Well... We'd like to distribute some of our points to the guy that saved us, Izuku, I think his name was? I know he didn't do to well in the exam, but what he did should've proved more than enough that he's worthy of becoming a hero!"
"Well, if you're both serious about it, I can do that for you. That's extremely Plus Ultra of you both!" Present Mic smiled.
We nodded at him before leaving the room. In all honesty, I could tell Izuku was a work in progress, but there's not a doubt in my mind that he'll be an incredible hero!
[The Next Day...]
I arrived at U.A. once again to take the written portion for the Recommendation Exam. I entered a classroom and sat down next to a girl with a ponytail. I saw that she was looking at me out of the corner of my eye.
"A-Are... You...?" She spoke up.
I looked over at her, "Hm?"
"You're... Alyx Leonidus. Y-You were the one that saved me! I can't believe you're going to be attending U.A.! I'm Momo Yaoyorozu!" She beamed.
"Oh! No wonder why I was thinking you looked so familiar!" I chuckled.
"Could you do the thing?" Momo quickly asked.
"Huh? What thing?" I replied.
"Whenever your Quirk activates, your hair does a 'woosh' thing, can I see it?" She grinned.
I activated my Base Mode and my hair shot upwards. She stuck her hand out to pat my head, keeping the intense smile on her face.
"Interesting! Very pointy!" Momo remarked.
"To be honest, I haven't gotten the slightest clue as to why my hair does this." I responded.
She put her hand back down on her desk, "Well, it's wonderful to finally meet you, Leonidus-kun. I hope we're classmates once this school year starts."
"Likewise! I hope we are as well." I smiled.
As the rest of the people filed into the room one by one, Present Mic returned to the room to pass out the tests. As I got mine, I looked through the questions, they were rather easy to answer. Honestly, I was really excited to see what class I ended up in! The test didn't take me too long to complete, I walked up at the same time that Yaoyorozu did as we both turned in our tests.
"You two can leave, thank you for being here!" Present Mic bubbled.
We both left the room, I looked back at the door and noticed that it had a huge "B" in red on it.
"That's Classroom 1-B, it's one of the two classes in the Hero Department, I'm sure you would be able to infer what the other classroom is." Momo told me.
"Knowing my luck, if I guess a letter it'll be something like 'Class 1-1' instead." I joked.
"Oh? Why do you say that?" She giggled.
I smiled back at her as I thought about my Amnesia, "Well it's... Complicated to say the least."
"Ah, I see, if it's a rather sensitive topic I won't push you into describing it to me." She replied.
I wasn't even sure if I should make my Amnesia known yet, if I let someone else know, would it effect my chance at entering U.A.? The more I think about it, the more I'm starting to realize that this whole Amnesia thing might be a lot more challenging than what I originally thought.
"Hey, are you feeling hungry? I know a rather nice place we could eat at if you'd like to accompany me." Momo broke the silence.
"Oh, I actually kind of am now that you mention it. I'd love to!" I responded.
We made our way out of U.A. High as more students left various rooms. There were quite a few students that were recommended, I guess I shouldn't be so surprised. We walked down the street as I followed Momo to wherever she was headed.
"So, Leonidus-kun, what prefecture where you born in?" She asked.
"Uh? Prefecture? What's that?" I questioned.
"Hm? Oh... Were you born here?" She answered.
"No, actually I wasn't! I'm from America, Nevada specifically, but born in California." I told her.
She tilted her head with curiosity, "Really? Might I say your Japanese is rather exquisite for someone that lived in the States. How long have you studied it?"
Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit! What am I supposed to say to that? How long does it normally take for someone to study a language?
"O-Oh... I've studied since I got the Letter of Recommendation from U.A.! I caught onto it rather quickly, the same with my family." I quickly replied.
"Now that you mention it, your last name does sound familiar... You wouldn't happen to be related to a 'Darren Leonidus' and a 'Marie Leonidus', would you?" Momo remarked.
"Yeah, they're my Father and Mother, why do you ask?" I nodded.
"Your Father was Pro Hero Overdrive and your Mother was Bloodlust? That must've been cool to have a highly ranked Pro Heroes as your parents!" She bubbled.
"It was actually pretty nice I'd say." I smiled.
We finally made it to that place she was talking about at U.A., it was simply called "Mr. Kageyama's". It was a decent sized place, there was a waiting area right next to the main dining area.
"Ah, Ms. Yaoyorozu! I see you've brought a friend with you." The elderly man greeted.
"Yes, we actually met before in the past however, Mr. Kageyama! I suggested that we headed here for lunch after our exam for U.A." Momo chirped.
He motioned me over to him, "Let me get a good look at 'em, my eyesight's not like it used to be."
I walked over to the counter and leaned on it as he leaned closer to me. He squinted his eyes as he looked at my face, out of the corner of my eye, I saw a piece of sushi slowly fly towards me. I opened my mouth and ate it as it finally reached me.
"Huh... This isn't your boyfriend, is it?" He asked.
"Oh, no! We're just friends!" I chuckled.
He looked over my shoulder towards Momo, "What are you doing? What exactly are you waiting for? Look at him!"
Mr. Kageyama hopped over the counter with amazing agility! He put his hands out as if he was displaying some sort of product.
"Look at what you're missing out on! A foreign boy! He saved you from that giant thug did he not?!" He shouted.
"E-Eh!? H-Hang on, we're just friends! We legitimately just met!" Momo quickly argued.
"AAAAAAND?! I had three wives all at one time within a week! A week!" He quickly yelled.
I tapped his shoulder, "E-Excuse me Mr. Kageyama sir, I don't mean to interrupt, but times have kind of changed you know."
"He's even polite... Good heavens..." Mr. Kageyama sighed.
"Good grief..." I muttered.
[15 Minutes Later...]
After a rather interesting lunch, Momo and I talked some more, I learned quite a lot about her!
"I'd love to hear more about you, Leonidus-kun. What was your life like?" Momo smiled.
"W-Well... I... Uh..." I stuttered.
I guess there wasn't any hiding or getting out of this anymore. I looked at the ground and sighed before looking straight ahead.
"That's the thing, I can't tell you, not because it's a sensitive topic or anything like that but... I don't remember at all. Ever since I woke up before I arrived here, I couldn't remember a single thing. I've only been given halfway answers as to why that is though." I continued.
"Oh, I see... Just tell me what you think, Leonidus-san. Or well, more specifically, what you would've imagined." She told me.
It's almost as if she understood without telling me that up front, it felt nice and welcoming.
"Well, I'm sure I came from wealth like you being the size of my home. Whatever Nevada was like, I'd think it was a kind, calming place to live. If I did have friends while I lived there, I'm sure they were wonderful people. I wish that I could remember all of that so I could tell you legitimately." I responded.
"Well then," Momo looked at me, "That's what I'll strive to accomplish now that you live here! It's the least I can do."
As she smiled at me, I saw the girl from the picture on my night stand take her place for a few seconds. I looked down at my hands and smiled softly.
"Thank you, Yaoyorozu-san." I smiled.
[The Beginning of April...]
These weeks went by like a breeze, and the next thing you know, it was time for the first day of school. I feel a lot better about my Quirk. I waved goodbye to everyone and went on my way. Not going to lie, I'm pretty nervous about this, what'll this school be like? The walk there didn't take too long, maybe 4 or 5 minutes? There were a lot of people there, some blonde kid who looked a little terrifying, some bird guy, and a whole lot of interesting people. I bumped into some guy by accident.
"O-Oh my! I'm so sorry! Please forgive me!" He yelled.
"Hey, it's alright... Wait, Izuku-kun? How's it going man!" I smiled.
He looked up, a smile came across his face as he realized who I was.
"H-Hey! Leonidus-san, thank you for what you did." He told me.
"Hm? What I did at the Entrance Exam?" I questioned.
"No, when I got my letter of acceptance from U.A., I saw that you and that girl gave me some of your points from the exam. So, thank you for that." Izuku responded.
As we walked inside the school, the inside was massive, it didn't feel like a school at all!
"I'm heading to Class 1-A, what about you?" Izuku replied.
I grabbed my paper that I was given when I walked in and looked at it.
"Oh, it looks like we're in the same class!" I showed him my paper.
As we were walking down the hallway, I seen all of the students that were here, and there were a lot of them! We stopped in front of the Class 1-A door and Izuku gave me a peculiar look.
"What? Is there something on my face?" I questioned.
