Episode 8 - Thrash In Time - Part 2

Previously: After two Tardis' collided, a split in the universe causes the Tardis to fall through, where the Tardis landed on a parallel Earth. The 14th and 8th Doctor's, with Maya and Greg, arrived on Earth, but not their Earth, where a Cyberman look-alike race has attempted to take over the world. The Tardis was badly damaged, meaning they couldn't leave yet.

The 8th Doctor's voice is heard "as days go by, the number of survivors depletes. With only a few survivors left on the planet, this version of Earth seems to be on its last of days. The Robomen have taken over almost eighty-nine percent of the planet, and every day, they take more and more. The Tardis is ready to leave, but The Robomen are guarding it, preventing us access to it. But not only that, the seal in our universe has begun to heal itself, but it's shrinking, staying here too long will mean we become trapped in this universe, but we can't leave the planet during its darkest days, the name I chose, The Doctor, it's a promise, a promise to save those who can't save themselves, a promise that I will push myself to whatever means necessary, just to save these amazing people, this beautiful species, and there's nothing I wouldn't do".

Heavy panting is heard as running is heard. The sound of guns being fired is also heard.

All of a sudden, Greg appears running down a street with two other men, whilst Three Robomen then appear behind them, shooting at them. Greg and the other men wear backpacks.

One of the men then says "down this way!". Greg follows them down an alleyway, and they hide.

The other man nods "good eye Hunter" Hunter smiles "oh you know me, just doing my part".

Greg watches as The Robomen walk past them. Greg then sighs "Joe, how much farther?".

Inside a house, The 14th Doctor sits around a computer it shows the split in the universe and its size. Maya then walks over to him and she goes "well?" The 14th Doctor nods "yeah, it's shrunk since last night, I'd say we have about three days" Maya nods at him "how are we gonna get out?" The 14th Doctor sighs "I don't know, but we will, I promise" Maya stares at him and nods.

Within the house, The 8th Doctor stands inside a kitchen with two women. The 8th Doctor is passed a cup of coffee and The 8th Doctor smiles "thank you Marlene" Marlene smiles "no worries my darling, I'll take some to the others" The 8th Doctor nods at her and watches her leave. The 8th Doctor then looks at the other woman and he says "so, Emma. Tell me, how did you survive?" Emma looks at him "I was with my fiance when The Robomen broke in, they killed him, the only reason I survived was that they were killing him" The 8th Doctor sips his drink and nods "I'm sorry to hear that" Emma nods at him and she sighs "how did you survive?" The 8th Doctor stares at her "well, I'm not actually from here, I'm trying to get back, but our priority is saving this planet first" Emma scoffs "this planet is already gone, there's no saving it".

Maya sits drinking some coffee as Marlene passes some to The 14th Doctor. Maya then looks down at an engagement ring on her finger, and she sits there and sighs.

Suddenly, the front door opens, as Maya turns around nervously, but seeing Greg, Joe, and Hunter. Maya smiles and she runs over to Greg, hugging him "was everything okay?" Greg nods at her as Hunter passes a bag to Marlene "had a close encounter, but we found some food".

The 14th Doctor then says "you're back just in time, they're about to update us on how much more land The Robomen have taken". The 8th Doctor and Emma then walk into the room.

(Commercial Break)

The Doctor's, Maya, Greg, Marlene, Emma, Joe and Hunter, and many other survivors all sit around a TV as a presenter then starts talking "I'm here today to inform any survivors on Earth, that as of today, The Robomen had taken ninety-four percent of our planet, today is a time of grief and remembrance, and from everyone who survived, and are in the bunkers, we want to wish and give our love and luck to the people on the surface, we wish you the best of luck-".

The signal then switches off and Marlene starts to cry. Maya looks to the floor upset.

The 14th Doctor then looks at The 8th Doctor "I need a word, now" The 8th Doctor nods at him.

Greg watches as The Doctor's walk upstairs. Hunter then walks over to Greg "hey, we're doing another run tomorrow, you in?" Greg looks at Maya, and he then looks back at Hunter "I'll let you know later" Hunter nods "alright, don't take too long" Hunter then looks at Joe "can you and Emma go and take over on watch, you know the drill if you see any Robomen, shout!".

Upstairs inside a room, The 14th Doctor stands with The 8th Doctor. The 8th Doctor looks at him angrily and shouts "YOU CAN'T SERIOUSLY BE SUGGESTING THAT?" The 14th Doctor sighs "yes, I am! Sometimes, these things happen, you said it yourself, we don't know the history on this planet, maybe this is when the Earth dies for these people" The 8th Doctor stares at him "so, we leave everyone here to die?" The 14th Doctor stares at him "I'm not suggesting that" The 8th Doctor looks at him "what the hell happened in the space of six lifetimes that makes you think this is an option?" The 14th Doctor glares at him "you don't know what I've seen! But I have to get Maya and Greg home safe, and this is the only way to do it! Are you in, or not?" The 8th Doctor continues to glare at him until he sighs and he then nods "fine, but we save as many as we can" The 14th Doctor nods "I know, I wasn't suggesting that we leave them all behind!".

Emma sits in a chair beside a window, that looks out to the whole street. Joe looks at her and he says "this is our first shift together, right?" Emma smiles at him "I think it is" Joe nods and he looks at the window and says "we're gonna be okay, you know that right?" Emma stares at him "are you trying to make me feel better, or yourself?" Joe stares at her and he sighs "myself" Emma then holds his hand "we're thankful that you put your life on the line to get us food".

(Commercial Break)

The 14th Doctor and The 8th Doctor stand looking at Maya, Greg, Marlene, Hunter, and all the survivors. The 14th Doctor then says "me and friends are from a different place, a different Earth, on that Earth the technology isn't as advanced as here, so it's a very different time. If we can get to my ship, the Tardis, I can get you there, you can start a new life, but-but-b-but-".

The 8th Doctor then sighs "but it comes with a cost, The Robomen have the ship guarded, not closely, they have guards hidden, meaning we'd have to run to it, which means...we're not all going to make it, but the ones who do, we'll take you to a new home, a new Earth".

Marlene then shakes her head "but, what if we're caught?" The 14th Doctor says "I'm sorry" Marlene shakes her head. Maya then looks at The Doctor "there must be another way, we usually save the planet! Not leave it behind" The 14th Doctor nods "I know, but this isn't our universe, we don't the future, this could, and very well looks like the day the Earth is supposed to die".

All of a sudden, the computer that The 14th Doctor was on starts to beep rapidly.

The 14th Doctor runs over to it and he then stares in shock "oh my god" Maya runs over to him "what is it?" The 14th Doctor then says "The Robomen have hacked into all the computers, they know we're here, THEY'RE COMING!". Everyone starts to panic, and Greg looks around in shock.

Back upstairs, on guard Emma turns around to look outside, and her eyes open widely "no, JOE!". Joe looks outside the window and he then says "come on, we have to warn everyone".

As Joe and Emma run down the stairs, Joe then shouts "DOCTOR! THEY'RE HE-".

Suddenly, bullets fly through the window of the house. Screaming is heard from everyone.

The Robomen march down the street holding their guns, and open firing on the house.

The Robomen Leader then says "ERADICATE THE HUMANS!".

As glass flies everywhere, and bullets also fly through the windows, The 8th Doctor then shouts "ESCAPE OUT THE BACK GARDEN!" The 14th Doctor nods "alright, come on you two". The Doctor then runs towards the backdoor with Maya and Greg. Emma and Joe go with them.

Marlene stands with Hunter as they try running, but a bullet hits Hunter, and he falls to the floor. Hunter then says "go with them! LEAVE ME!" Marlene then lets go of him and runs away.

(Commercial Break)

Outside in the garden, The Doctor, Maya, Greg, Joe, Emma, Marlene, and only a few survivors stand outside. The 8th Doctor says "we have to run for the Tardis, I'm sorry, but we can't slow down, if anyone drops behind, we can't stop, if we stop...we all will die" Maya stares at him.

Maya stands with Greg as The Doctor's try looking through the gate for a way to run.

Maya then looks at Greg in tears. Greg goes "what's up?" Maya says "all this death, everything, I'm terrified" Greg looks down and he sees Maya touching her engagement ring. Maya then says "if I die, he'll never know" Greg looks up at her and he stares at her "he'll never know what?" Maya stares at him "he'll never know that I'm-" The 14th Doctor then says "everyone ready?".

In a line, The 14th Doctor, The 8th Doctor, Maya, Greg, Marlene, Joe, Emma, and then some survivors all hold hands. The 14th Doctor watches as the last Roboman enters the house.

The 14th Doctor then starts to run forward, which causes everyone else to also start running.

Everyone continues to run, as they make it down the end of the road without being spotted.

The 14th Doctor looks up a sign which indicates '2 miles' until they reach the field, where the Tardis was left. The 14th Doctor looks down the next street and he then starts to run again.

The Doctor's, and everyone else continues to run down streets.

After streets.

After streets.

Finally, they reach the end of a street, where they see the field up ahead. The 14th Doctor smiles.

The 14th Doctor huddles up with everyone and whispers "right, the field is just here, we're so close now, but this is the real challenge, there are Robomen surrounding the entire field if we spread out, and keep running towards the Tardis, then we should be able to keep them from killing as many of us" Greg then says "surely there's a way to save everyone?" The 8th Doctor then looks at The 14th Doctor who sighs. The 14th Doctor then says "are we ready?".

Stood beside a tree, a Roboman looks up as he starts to see The Doctor's and everyone running towards the field. The Roboman then picks its gun up and says "HALT, YOU WILL BE ERADICATED". The Robomen start to emerge on the field, holding their guns.

(Commercial Break)

Running is heard as bullets are fired. The 14th Doctor runs up to the Tardis, and as he looks up he looks at the windows which are now black paned glass, with a white window frame.

The 14th Doctor opens the Tardis doors, and the inside is the same, but with no mess.

The 14th Doctor turns around as The 8th Doctor runs inside with him. The 8th Doctor goes "anyone else?" The 14th Doctor turns around where he sees Maya fall to the floor.

Greg then turns around as a Roboman shouts "YOU WILL BE ERADICATED!".

As Joe and Emma run together, Emma looks over at Greg and she stares in shock.

Emma then runs over and she says "NO!".

The Roboman turns around it shoots Emma, and she falls to the floor.

Joe stares in shock "EMMA!". Greg then helps Maya up and the two of them start running again, and they both pull Joe along as tries to pull back.

The Doctor's watch as some survivors make it inside, along with Marlene.

Maya, Greg, and Joe then run into the Tardis, breathing heavily.

The 14th Doctor then stands watching as The Robomen surround the outside of the Tardis and he then looks up at the sky and he says "I'm so sorry". The 14th Doctor then shuts the doors.

Around the console, The 14th Doctor and The 8th Doctor stand around the console flying.

The 8th Doctor says "alright, we're almost there, almost at the split". The 14th Doctor looks at the split and he says "we need to go faster!".

The split is starting to shrink more rapidly, getting smaller, and smaller, until one final gap is seen.

Suddenly, the Tardis flies through the tiny gap, and the seal shuts behind them, restoring the universe's split.

Inside the console room, both The Doctor's start to laugh as they succeed in getting back into their universe. The 14th smiles "right then! Back to Earth!".

The Tardis flies through space, and towards planet Earth, but the Earth from their universe.

The Tardis starts to materialise in London, and in the present day.

(Commercial Break)

Outside the Tardis, the survivors walk out, seeing their new planet. Maya and Greg stand with Joe. Greg goes "you'll be fine, this is a whole new life, you don't have to worry about Robomen" Joe looks at them "who is he, The Doctor?" Maya stares at him "you really don't want to know".

The 14th Doctor stands near the door of the Tardis as The 8th Doctor walks with Marlene. Marlene then says "oh, finally a time where we can actually go out and socialise" The 8th Doctor smiles "I wouldn't get used to it, it won't be like this forever" Marlene smiles at him.

Moments later, The 14th Doctor watches as the survivors start to walk away from all of them, leaving just The Doctor's, Maya, and Greg.

Suddenly, the window starts to pick up as the sound of Vwoorping is heard.

The 8th Doctor turns around as a retro-like Tardis starts to materialise. The 8th Doctor smiles.

The 14th Doctor nods "we're back in our universe, which means you Tardis is back" The 8th Doctor puts his hand on the exterior and smiles "oh it's good to see you again, old girl".

Maya then says "so, what will you do?" The 8th Doctor looks at her "something I've been putting off for a very long time, I think after seeing my future, it's time" The 14th Doctor stares at him.

The 8th Doctor then says "Gallifrey needs my help, there's Dalek ship surrounding it, they've been calling for my help for a while, and after seeing who I've become, I know I have to go" The 14th Doctor nods at him "you do" The 8th Doctor sighs "well, at least I know I survive" The 14th Doctor stares at him "you do-" The 14th Doctor walks away and he walks back into the Tardis.

Maya and Greg stand looking at The 8th Doctor and Maya says "it was nice meeting you" The 8th Doctor smiles "you too" Greg smiles at The 8th Doctor.

The 8th Doctor then walks into his Tardis and the Tardis starts to dematerialise.

Maya and Greg stand together outside and Greg then says "you were gonna tell me something earlier before we ran, what was it?" Maya then turns to him and says "what do you mean?" Greg stares at her "you know what I mean" Maya sighs and then looks down at her ring "I have to tell Todd, I-I-" Greg then says "Maya, just tell me" Maya looks at him in tears "I found out I'm pregnant" Greg stands there staring in shock "what?" Maya nods at him "yeah".

Next Time:

Maya then says "he left us for two years, I didn't know if he'd come back!".

Entering the Tardis, The Doctor stands at the console and he then says "right, so many cool ideas, we could go to the planet Jafara, or Beruit".

The Doctor stands there staring at Maya who then walks up to him.
