invisible girl

Flylara had gone to call Carriage. So, it was only me and Adl. As we entered the hall the first the thing I noticed was I was not the only one who came here to examine qi. There were villagers in hope that they have woken up qi.

Normally people in the poor village awake their qi at the age of 7. But the one who wakes qi in 7 doesn't get any facility unless you pay lots of money to the school. In short, only adyols can pay,  and some high mocon can effort by here and there.

Adl pass through where villagers were writing their names. It seems like the higher the status we have the more inner part we have to go to write our names. As we were walking Adl finally stopped at the door and looked at me. At first, I was confused but I finally understood why. I came in front of the door slowly and knock. 

"Yes," a bored voice came from inside. It seems like she is not happy with her job or did we just came at the wrong time?? Adl took a lead on the one and opened the door. We both went inside. There 3 boys probably 6 years old AND 1Slave girl. THE SAME GIRL I WAS STARING AT. I don't know why but I just pretend like I didn't even notice her.

"Oh!! if it isn't Adlmund. How may I help you??" she said an excited voice. Like the bored voice from before didn't come from her at all.

"I just came here to examine my son's qi." He said while pushing me front.

"I didn't know you had a son."

(Disappointed voice)

"Yes, not many people know about it."

"And he looks younger than others??"

"Yes, he awakened qi at the age of five. I mean he is my son. " (proud voice )

Something is going totally wrong here.

"So tell me kid what is your name??"

"It's Phoenix lonam "

"Phoenix!?, your father was the one who put your name, isn't he??"

" Y-yes, why??"

" I can't think of anyone who puts their child name based on mythical creatures. "

"Hey, I can hear you you know??"

Yes!! so can the 3 brothers who are giggling in the corner and for some reason only I can hear them. Even the girl is staring at me like she is watching my every move. How did I end up in such an awkward position??

"Anyway, you have to wait for your turn with them. Right now someone else is using the orb."

Magic orb is hard to make. I heard that it needs many rear objects and after you have gathered all the materials it'll take at least a year of attention and even after that success rate is only 70%. This all and I didn't even count the years we need to learn alchemy. So magic examination is mostly done in the capital so I'm surprised that this place has one of the magic ord. It makes things a lot easier.

"Okay, I have to go then. I'll be back soon. " with this Adlmund left the room.

"I'll also be right back " miss also followed him. 

Just when I thought this couldn't get any awkward.  The whole room was silent for a while. Everyone was staring at me. I sat on the chair opposite to 3 brothers. The whole room was filled with awkward silence. So, I just did what  I am best at,  zoning out.

It was clear the three of them were from adyol family. The one in the left had a slim body, short red hair and blue gems like eyes. One in the middle looked little fat. He had azure blue hair tied in a man bun and indigo coloured eyes. The last one on the right had little longer limbs, his hair was combed sideways and it had eggplant colour, as for eyes he had green coloured eyes.

"We should break this awkward silence !!" A voice came from my side. As I turned around there was a girl. She had lavender colour hair tied in ponytail tail and frost blue eyes.

How did I not notice her when she was right by my side ??

"S-since when were you here ??" I asked.

"Since you came in ." She replied with a polite smile.

"Don't worry you're not the only one that didn't notice her first " The middle azure hair one replied.

"Hi, I'm Loulia Ariden." She said with a smile

"Hello, my name is Phoenix lonam "

"I'm Adan Bradford. He is Jeylen herald and Zaire stagnor."

Apparently one with red hair is Adan, one with azure blue hair is Jeylen and one with eggplant hair is Zaire.

"Did you guys knew each other before you came here??"

"Yes, our parents are business partners. " Zaire replied. " Tho we met miss Loulia Ariden just today.  "

"I see!!"

"Btw, why would your family hide the fact that they had a child??" Loulia asked.

" I- we had a family problem," I said hurriedly. What could I say anyway?? Besides, it was kinda true.

"I see," Zaire said with a disappointment clear on his voice.

After a while, the lady who had gone out with my father came in. I found out from Adan that her name was Terreia cotome.

Apparently, there are a lot of people who know my father. Even they know who my father is!! He's more influenced than I thought.  Just who is Adlmund??

After some time magic orb was finally free and slowly people in the room started to decrease. At first, three brothers went one by one then Loulia went before me. As Loulia walked outside the door, the slave also followed her.

'Oh, of course, I completely forgot about the slave. She was in this room the whole time, like an invisible girl.  Last time I couldn't see her properly since the Carriage was at distance but when she passed by glaring at me I could finally look at her face clearly.  She had a dark brown, messy hair with unusual blue coloured eyes. And I am pretty sure one was darker than the other. With two different colour eyes, thin pink lips and doll-like face, she was pretty unusual.

After some time it was finally my turn to go. FINALLY!!
