As I followed Terreia, I noticed that we just passed the room with the magic orb. I stopped right there and explained in a confused voice," Um- The room with magic orb is right there!!"

"I've been working here for 9 years boy, don't you think I already know that!!?

...we aren't going to measure your qi in that orb, now follow me and don't ask any questions !!"

"Fine!!" What did I do wrong now??

Terreia took me at the end of the hall. At the middle of a huge wall was a small wooden door. She slowly opened the door. It was a small, empty-looking and darkroom. The room had a marble floor and white walls with golden border the only furniture that exists in the room was a big desk and empty bookshelf. There was nothing there except for those 2 things in eyesight. Not even a chair or any books in self. Terreia went near the desk and took out two black masks from the first drawer and then 2 black robes from a door below.

"Wear this to hide your identity."

Why do we have to hide our identity ??

Even though I had lots of questions in mind just kept quiet and silently wear a robe and the mask. She did the same. Then after checking if I was done wearing robe she turns the desk apparently, 'floor with desk'. I didn't even notice that the floor beneath the desk was cut in a circle. The desk was attached in the middle of the circle. Then she turns it once clockwise then two times anti-clockwise. Then a quarter clockwise. This triggered some kind of mechanism and turned bookshelf showing the hidden passage underneath.

"There are many tunnels so don't leave my side if you don't want to get lost. "

I just nodded my head. Right now I just wasn't in the mood for taking.

I followed Terreia downstairs. When suddenly the door started to closed on its own. The tunnels were covered in darkness for a moment until the candles began to light up by itself. For a moment I felt like I was dreaming.

" Are you coming or not ??" Terreia said with hostile voice then only I saw that Terreia had left me behind. I hurry up and run to Terreia.

After a while, I found out we were not the only ones in this tunnel. There were people wearing mask and robe, scattered around this tunnel. There were small rooms for black markets which sold everything from runaway slaves to information about anyone. It was like a small underground city.

It was very cool and all but JUST WHY ARE WE HERE!!! SERIOUSLY AM I GETTING KIDNAPPED or something?? Just then I bumped into Terreia.

"What's the matter?? Why did stopped??" Ouch! My head did I bumped into human or rock.

" Shut up kid!! Do you think this is your home or something?? Anything can happen here so stop zoning out, would you??!!"

" huh! I-I am s-sorry to make you worry." (With cute watery eyes)

"Fine, don't do it again. ESPECIALLY in a weird place that you don't know of. "

After some time we began to see less and less room. The room farthest away from the market, there was one of the most unique magic orb. That was where we were heading towards.

As we reach the room I noticed it was not like other room. At first, the room had 2 guards guarding on each side showing it cannot be used without permission. There also were 3 people who were waiting to use it. There were 2 people inside the room. One who was using it and other who was the judge.

Judge is the person who takes care of orb and tells people information about their qi.

"Age 40, blood-red qi, progress from last year till now 0.01, test: negative " Judge said in loud voice.

I wanted to ask Terreia 'What did mean by test: negative??' But something told me she wasn't going to answer and this is not the best time and place to ask questions either. So, I again suppress my urge to ask many questions I had in my mind and kept my silence.

"Tsk* not again"

That man was a little annoyed but did nothing and quietly excused himself. One who was waiting to use the orb stood up and hurriedly tried to go inside but Terreia stopped him right in the middle.  "Excuse me!! I am on the hurry if you don't mind" The man said in little annoyed but polite voice. 

"I have a letter from the Aundermaf"

Terreia said in a loud voice so that everyone can hear her. And Again 'Who Is Aundermaf??'

Everyone was silent after that. The man quietly went to his previous seat. Terreia gave the letter, which came out of nowhere, to the judge. After reading the letter he glanced at me then bowed his head.  "Yong master, please come inside" I was both shocked and uncomfortable with this kind of treatment. But I had to go inside anyways so, I again ignored him and directly stated to transfer my small amount of qi in the orb. The judge looked at the orb with a shocked expression. " A-age: 5, impure qi, Test: p-positive!!"  I didn't understand what does positive or negative stand for but at least it's clear that I have qi. So I turned around ready to go home only see that everyone was staring at me with mouth wide open. Terreia was the first one who woke up from the shock and asked: " Are you sure??"

"Yes ma'am!!,  I am hundred per cent sure!!"

Terreia POV

'Are you serious??' When Adlmund said to me he had awoken demonic qi in impure qi, let's not forget at the age of  5, I thought he was just overestimating his son. I can't believe it was all true. Wait !! I thought demonic qi has to be practice. Can someone be born with demonic qi?? That should be impossible, right ?? Out of all the population in golanion, only 35% knows about demonic qi. And only 20% dare to practice it. In a process, 10% give up or die due to effort we have to put when the success rate is only 3%. Was what I heard all wrong. How could this kid have such power?? I looked at the boy and thought for a while.

Could Adlmund have been training him while keeping his birth a secret???
