VII

Saturday morning, there is nothing to do at home. I want my friends to come over but because of my worried brother, I thought twice about it. It has been days since he saw me smiling sweetly at my phone while I am chatting with Xhien. He has been worried since then for a reason that I don't know. I am a bit pissed about it because when he keeps secrets it is fine. But when I keep secrets, he would do everything just to know what could that be. Isn't that too unfair on my part?

I sighed heavily and decided to go to the kitchen to grab something to eat when I saw him jumped from the second floor of our house. I shocked to the point I even asked Mrs. Lita since when my brother is into acrobats. Then, I saw him outside talking to unknown people on the streets and the next thing I knew, they're on their way here. Seriously, how many friends does my brother have? One of them looked my way as I go upstairs then he yelled a name. I stopped for a while and thought, "Wait a damn minute. Where the hell did hear that name again?" I whispered to myself. Then, I just shrug and went to my room but before the slamming the door to them, I yelled on the top my lungs, "Drew, could you please tell your friends that my name is Momo and not Chann," then I slammed the door to their faces. I could still hear my brother yelled, "You heard her." I felt my body boiling with anger to whoever called me Chann. I mean, he didn't even call me in a very friendly way, he just yelled the name. But that name does sound very very familiar to me. As if, someone called me by that name before, I just don't know who or where.

I slammed the door heavily when I realized that I almost destroyed the door. What a minute, since when did I slam a door so powerful? I sat down my bed whilst thinking about how did I close that door so powerful. I mean, I've closed this door too many times but I never had slammed it that heavy. I fell asleep thinking about it. When I didn't realize that my brother's friends are not really his friends.

"She is becoming powerful every single day, Drew." one said while walking around the living room trying to make a point. "We need to do the ritual already." the other suggested. "Give me more time, please. I still want to have time with my sister."Drew pushed. "Time? We don't more time. Many will die if we didn't remove the curse from her soul." the third one said. "I know what you are talking about and I also don't want that to happen. I will be the one restraining the curse. I promise you." Drew suggested. All of his friends looked at him when the eldest sighed, "Okay, we believe you. Just make sure that the black wolf won't get near her." he said. Drew nodded without even thinking who could the black wolf be. He slept through the night thinking of how should he restrain the power of the white wolf that is inflicted on her sister since the accident happened.

He sighed a relief knowing that he will be the one removing the curse or so he thought...
