LENNOX

"Quick Lennox!" My sister shouted from behind me while I froze in place, anxious.

"I-I" I stuttered as I saw the person holding the gun press the muzzle.

"Lennox, please go and save yourself. I'll be fine here, I promise" She smiled while tears flowed down her cheeks

"But it's dangerous for you alone!" I shouted back

"Don't you have faith in me brother? I'll be fine and we'll train again after this" She spoke as her tears flowed more

With that, I ran until I reached the outside of the warehouse. I stopped right before I reached the door, the bullet was fired.

Shit. I woke up panting, remembering the memory I tried so hard to bury.

I looked around my room, only to see documents and my laptop scattered on top of my bed. I accidentally slept before I could get any more info.

Kalliah Grace Laurent, 21, Daughter of Andros Laurent and Unknown. That was the only thing I had after a week of research. They were masters in hiding their info.

I heard my phone ring, I looked at the caller ID only to see someone whom I asked a favor from.

"Did you get what I asked for?" I asked

"Not even a good morning? I didn't know you were THIS rude" the voice spoke

"Alright, good morning to you Amora" I chuckled

"Good morning, and yes I have the info" She spoke as I felt her smirking from the other side of the phone

"But before that, I heard from Kllian that you won the last practice round"

"Yeah we did, no thanks to your level of complication you made"

"Well I can't help it, after all, I'm not called the family's tactician without knowledge of that" She chuckled

"Yeah, yeah, now can you give me the info?"

"Sheesh so impatient, but yes, I'll have Sito deliver it to your house" She spoke

"Fine, but why Sito? And I thought you wouldn't expose this to anyone else" I asked annoyed

"Well my family and I are a package, but before that, do you have the favor I asked from you as well?"

"Yeah, it's all set up, I have my team watching him and his every move, but why did you need it? Your father thought he is a nice fit as your bodyguard and nothing seems to be suspicious at what I have gathered so far"

"Nothing, anyways, bye bye babe" she chuckled before ending the line

I smiled, I missed the girl, but I didn't miss her brother. While waiting for the messenger, I researched more about the twins.

I heard the doorbell ring, I quickly went to the door to answer it knowing who would be on the other side of it.

"Sito" I spoke in a menacing tone

"My man" He spoke before hugging while I tried to resist but unfortunately he was too strong, stronger than any enemy I've come across

"My sister told me to give you this" He spoke while giving the envelope which had my name written on it, indicating it was the info I asked her about

"Also she told me to tell you to research Lilah Renamé instead of Kalliah or whatever her name is" He spoke before smiling as I sighed

"Fine, give her my thanks"

"Sito!" My father Kllian shouted right before I was about close the door

"Kllian" He spoke as he waved

"How's your family?"

"Great, also my sister asked me to give you this, she told me it was a new room designed by her as you requested"

"Give her my gratitude" Father spoke after I went back to my room before the conversation continued

I went to my computer to search for the name Amora gave me after I had put it in my computer, I quickly opened the envelope.

I saw thousands of important articles Amora summarized for me, along with some personal info that she had gathered, but to my surprise, an article stood out. This can't be.

I woke up to my alarm clock blaring, god it's annoying, I quickly snoozed my alarm and went to the meeting room.

I took a quick shower, tied my hair, and got dressed. When I went down the stairs, I heard the others laughing with an unknown guy. Despite knowing that he was obnoxious as hell, you can't help but be allured by him, but I was used to temptations like that.

"Hey, Lia!" AM spoke while waving at me causing the others to stare at me as well, I smiled in return

"Now who is this?" The unknown guy flirtatiously said

"Fuck off" Nerion shouted while I scoffed

"What were you all laughing about?" I asked them

"Oh, Sito showed us some pictures of Lennox when he was a teen" Heccariah answered

"I suppose your Sito, I'm Lia" I smiled

"Nice to meet you Mademoiselle" He spoke while he kissed my hand while I only looked at him in disgust

"So where are the pictures?" I asked curiously

"Here" Ares showed me

It was Lennox smiling with a guy who looked like Sito but older, had his arms around Lennox's neck. A woman was also with them, she was beautiful.

Her gorgeous brown curls flowed down her shoulders, her eyes were sharp but yet showcased the softness in her.

"That's his girlfriend?" I asked

"WAHAHAHAHAHA" He laughed loudly

"What's so funny?" I asked

"That's my sister, they're close friends, the only friend that Lennox actually treated like family"

"Really?" Nerion asked with his brows raised

"Yeah, they helped each other"

"What're you all doing?" Lennox from behind us asked while we all quickly went to our places

"Relax, I'm only showing them your pictures when we were all teens" Sito spoke as if it was too obvious

"Psh"

"Anyways I'll go home, Luxure has already called me a million times," Sito said along with a name I was unfamiliar with

"Give her my gratitude" Lennox spoke with the most sincere smile on his face which shocked all of us except Sito

"Will do, Goodbye everyone, until we meet again" He bid goodbye before winking and turning away to face the door

"Oh?" He spoke upon opening the door

"H-help" A voice I was familiar with spoke
