Chapter 5: Stay

I walked quickly up to the 2nd floor of the bar then entered the vacant room I saw. I think this is a VIP room, actually all the rooms here on the 2nd floor are VIP. How can I say that? It is obvious in the structure and design of the room. Just seeing outside the room you will notice its elegance.

As far as I know, the rooms up here are commonly used by the elite regular customers of The Fun. It is also sometimes used as a meeting place, especially by business men who love thrill or enjoyment after their transactions. But of course only select people can use these rooms. This is also for the sake of the Bar and the safety of the costumers.

But if you just want it up here because you don't want it down there because of the noise and smoky, in short messy. As long as you have MONEY you are welcome to stay here. The more money, the more welcome you are here.

When I entered the room I immediately went to the large sofa, then I laid half of my body and then I slowly closed my eyes. 'I knew it! Coming back here is a BAD idea. Fuck this !! ' I said in mind while frowning.

In the middle of my thoughts I suddenly opened my eyes when someone enter the room. "I already fix your mess." Three said angrily as I turned to him. I stared at his annoying face psh..

Is he teasing me?

"Don't FUCKING START Three." Cold but authoritative I say. Because I'm really not really in the mood to joke with him, I'm still BADTRIP because of what happened earlier. Grrr. .

"Fine fine, Chill okay? Lets just drink." He said as he raised both hands, but one of his hands was holding a drink. Three dropped a bottle of Whiskey at mass. " What is that?" I said referring to 1 bottle of whiskey he was carrying.

" Ah..whisky?" He answered like a fool.

"Are you kidding me three ?! I know that's whiskey, I mean ... why is that all you brought?" Kunot noung sabi ko. This man is shameless !! he only brought whiskey, he also brought only 1 bottle of whiskey.

Psh He just wouldn't have brought it right?

Three opened the whisking he was carrying, then poured the two empty glasses. He handed me the other one, I sat down first before I accepted it. When I got it, I immediately drank it with just one sip. Like it was just a water.

I'm just stressed. So let me drink.

Even though we were not halfway through what we were drinking, I spoke again as I remembered something. "What are you going to say?" I asked. I came here not just to have a drink. I also came because we have something important to talk about. I'm a straight forward person, I don't want to talk nonsense. I want straight to the point.

"It's about ... your business." He said with difficulty.

'What is this a drama? Psh'🤨 i said in mind.

"What about it?" I said in a bored tone. It's about their business. I'm referring to the business of those 'WORTHLESS' parents of mine tsk.

Why does he even have to tell me? He knows I am not interested about it. Unless....

"It's about ... Your Grandfather's Business .... none other than ... Nagi Enterprise." He said that made me serious.

Nagi Enterprise is the company managed by my older brother when he was still alive. Blood and sweat are his investment just to make it grow and develop. He did not fail because NE became famous not just here in the Philippines but all over Asia.

"The .... NE?" I asked for confirmation. NE is also the reason why I came here.

"Yes." He said while gently nodding. I was silent for a moment, because based on his actions I felt that something bad had happened to the company.

"What about it?" I asked seriously.

"NE .... is facing a BIG problem right now an-"

"Problem?" I said frowning.

"Yes queen ... a BIG PROBLEM." He said. I was suddenly nervous.

How big is that problem? Don't tell me..

No..

I hope my suspicion is not correct.

"The problem ..... how bad is it?" Its hard for me to ask this, but I want to make sure my suspicion is wrong. But Three did not answer, he just bowed now. "I said ... HOW BAD IS THE PROBLEM THREE ?!" I said losing my patience. I saw him sigh first before looking at me again. His face is very serious, in the very serious I was especially nervous.

"Bankruptcy. " He said softly that I was temporarily deaf.

"What?" I ask to confirm. Hoping that I just heard it wrong.

"NE.....is already bankrupt." He said seriously while looking into my eyes. It was as if heaven and earth had fallen on me from what I had heard.

How did that company go bankrupt?

How?

Didn't they handle NE?

Did they abandon the company that brother had grown and cared for for a long time?

How could this things happen..?

Those are some of the questions I would like to have answered. But I still do not know how. I thought that was the worst news that three would tell me, but I was wrong because the last thing he said,
