O' Spirit Of The Wind

Rem was in the Temple for more than 8 hours and defeated every monster she found. During this time, she only leveled up 3 times.

*BOOM!

'I think that's the last one.' Rem thought tiredly.

{Go to the middle of the Temple. There should be an entrance there somewhere.}

'Alright.' Rem sighed and went towards the middle of the Temple.

When Rem arrived at the middle of the Temple, all she saw was 4 huge pillars with some kind of spell, cast on them.

'Now where is the entrance to the main Temple room..?' Rem looked around.

After searching every corner, Rem still couldn't find anything.

'Don't tell me it's...' Rem looked up.

She saw a huge magic circle on the ceiling.

'Haha... Ha... Urg..! So frustrating! This Temple sure likes to play pranks...' Rem's brows furrowed.

'Anyway... How do I deactivate this..?'

{You just have to simply touch the magic circle and say or think in your head, deactivate.}

'It's that simple???'

{Yes. At least for you, it is.}

'Got it.' Rem climbed on one of the pillars and touched the magic circle.

"Deactivate." Rem said.

The magic circle disappeared slowly. After the magic circle perished, a huge door appeared in the middle of the 4 pillars. Rem jumped off the pillar and opened the door.

'This isn't a door... It just looks like one on the outside.' Rem was alert.

{Just enter. It's safe. Don't worry!}

'I was going to walk in anyway.' Rem entered and got teleported to another room.

There were many huge floating rocks with some kind of symbol on it. Rem could see that there was an enormous pillar behind something that was covered in chains, almost as if they were meant to be trapped there. The chains came from the pillar that also had many symbols on it. Rem walked closer to get a better look at what was trapped, still keeping her distance.

"Someone has finally found this Temple... Please free me! I've been trapped here for so long!!! Please..!" The trapped being cried.

'Oh... It talked.' Rem thought.

"Hmmm... Why should I? How do I know you won't cause me any harm..?" Rem tilted her head slightly.

She could sense the being that was trapped was very strong.

'That thing that is trapped must have been trapped for a reason..!' Rem stared at the being.

To Rem, the being that was trapped looked like a wind spirit, only bigger and stronger than a normal one.

"I'm the Spirit Of The Wind. Since you don't believe me, let's make a deal then. If you free me, I'll let you use a portion of my powers plus, I'll let you have everything here." The spirit said.

"These are already mine anyway since I found them. Instead of giving me your powers, how about giving me a few supplies I need..?"

"Oh? What do you need?" The spirit asked.

"Please wait for a moment. I need to see what I need first..." Rem looked at the supplies she needed to craft one of the items she needed.

[While wearing this, your wind magic will increase by 20%.]

[Durability: N/A]

[0/1 Wind Gem (With The Wind Spirit's Blessing]

"I need your blessing on a Wind Gem. Can you do that?" Rem asked.

"Of course I can. Even though I can only give a blessing to someone or something every 100 years and create a Wind Gem every century, if I can get out of here, I'll do anything." The Wind Spirit used its magic and created a Wind Gem.

After the Wind Gem was created, the Wind Spirit gave its blessing to the Wind Gem. After the Wind Spirit gave the Wind Gem it's a blessing, the gem shown brightly in a light green color.

"There, you go. The Wind Gem with my blessing." The Wind Spirit threw the Wind Gem to Rem using its wind magic.

"Thanks." Rem looked at the requirements.

[1/1 Wind Gem (With The Wind Spirit's Blessing)]

{You Are Now Able To Craft The Item, Mistral Necklace!}

{Would You Like To Craft It?}

[Yes/No]

{You Have Crafted The Item, Mistral Necklace!}

'Great!'

"Now, will you help me get out of this mess I'm in..?" The spirit asked.

"Ummm... Wait a moment..!" Rem replied.

'002, do you know how to release that spirit?'

{You just have to touch the chain and say deactivate.}

'Alright. That's quite simple.' Rem touched the chain.

"Deactivate." Rem said.

The chain and magic that was binding the spirit slowly perished.

"I-I'm finally free!!!" The spirit said in joy.

The Wind Spirit suddenly shifted into a human. Rem saw a woman with dark green hair and light green gem-like eyes. The woman didn't have any clothes on.

"Excuse me! Can you put on some clothes..?" Rem asked politely, unfazed by the beautiful woman in front of her.

"Sure thing." The woman used her magic and some clothes were suddenly on her in a blink of an eye.

"Anyway... Thank you so much for saving me! My name is Alizeh. I am a Spirit of the Wind. I see you are not a human. Hmmm... You're similar to my kind somehow."

"Oh, okay. If you don't have anything else to say, I'll get going now." Rem got ready to leave.

"Please wait! May I ask what my savior's name is?" Alizeh was curious.

'She doesn't seem to have any ill intentions nor does she have any corrupted powers... She knows how I look and the fact that I'm not a human anyway. It should be alright to tell her my real name.' Rem thought.

"Rem." Rem said.

"I see. I thank you again. I shall return this kindness." Alizeh bowed.

"It's fine. We made a deal so there's no need for you to pay me back." Rem never liked being in debt or owning anyone something.

"No, no. That deal was for you to free me. You are still my savior. Whatever I gave you wasn't much of a big deal compared to how long I've been trapped here. What else do you need? I will help you to the best of my abilities." Alizeh offered.

"I don't know if you can do this but... Do you know a way to get back your memories?" Rem asked.

"Ah, yes. I can but not right now since I've just been freed. I'm extremely weak. I only have a tenth of my powers. I can try though. Please excuse my rudeness." Alizeh put her hand on Rem's head.

Rem stood still as Alizeh looked in her memories. After a few minutes, Alizeh opened her eyes in horror.

*Cough, cough, cough!

Alizeh coughed up some blood.

"What's wrong..?" Rem had no idea what was happening.

"I saw the door. A door with chains and locks that had magic barriers and spells I've never seen before my whole life. There was something guarding that door... It was extremely powerful and dangerous. When I got close to it, it somehow attacked me. It seems to be guarding that door. That door probably has all your memories you don't remember. Getting your memories back will be hard to do..." Alizeh sighed.

"I see. Was there anything else?" Rem knew getting back her memories was not easy but she never expected something to prevent her from remembering.

"After I get most of my powers back, I'll come to you. Wherever you are, as long as the wind is there, I'll know your location. Until then... Goodbye and be careful..!" Alizeh slowly disappeared as a strong gust of wind blew.

'How complicated... This won't be easy..!' Rem exited the Temple.

After Rem exited, the Temple perished. Rem looked at the time.

[4:38 A.M.]

'It's already 4:38 in the morning??! Urg...'

{Today is Monday. You have school at 8 in the morning.}

'Yes, I know. Thanks for telling me.' Rem sighed and went back to her dorm room, carrying Roy who was sleeping in her backpack.
