Chapter twelve

i wake up next to Edward. its bright like day. i get confused and get up. i look out the window and see lots of people with pitchforks and torches. i hide ageist the wall and look at Edward asleep. i walk down the steps and out to the front door. i walk out to the mob.

"leave!" i scream

"water witch you must be burned! water witch water witch!" they all chant

"you have no place here!" i scream my eyes glow blue.

"water witch you must be burned! water witch water witch!" they chant again. i float up and my hair turns into water. lightning sticks in the background. my eyes glow brighter.

"kill her kill her!" they scream

"i said you don't belong!" a wave come up and picks them all up into the air. i start to drown each one. one, by one.

"April!" i hear and turn around. Edward is standing there.

"Edward? they're here to kill me!" i yell

"put them down. this isn't who you are." Edward says in a mad but sad tone. i let them down and they all scream and run away. i float down and look down.

"April, inside, now." Edward says madly walking inside. i walk inside and follow him to his office. we walk in and i bit my lip.

"what is your problem." he says madly

"i...i thought i could handle it."

"so you think killing is handling it!" he yells

"it is if they are there to kill ME!" i yell back

"April killing is never the answer!"

"YOU KILL ALL THE TIME!" i yell loudly

"I KILL TO KEEP OTHERS SAFE NOT FOR SELFISH REASONS!" he yells loudly

i yell and run out. i run down to my room and slam the door. i scream as loud as i can. i lay down and scream into mu pillow. i yell and scream and start to cry for hours. i stay in my room for days. no food and shower water to drink. i stay in my bed most the day.
