Class Representative

Late in the afternoon, Mika was on her phone with someone, "I understand Ms. Lyoko, we'll have this addressed in the next prototype of your hero costume. Is that all?" the man on the phone asked.

Mika scratched the back of her head as she looked at her documents and the photo on her desk, "I believe so... I hope it's not too much trouble." she said.

"Not at all, ma'am." he said in a cheerful tone, "We were thinking about it in case you were in a hybrid form that has little to no strong traits, and trying to fight without the use of your Quirk."

Mika nodded, "We also thought of good equipment to defend yourself, and another device to keep you awake." he continued, "Think of this as an upgrade for your hero costume, and I think it'll be to your liking."

Mika smiled, "I'm looking forward to it! Thank you so much." she said. "No problem, we'll be in touch." he said as the call ended. Mika put her phone on her desk and stretched her arms and smiled, *I wonder what they look like.* she thought.

Mika heard a knock on her door and turned towards it, "Come in." she said; she saw both parents enter her room, "You doing alright, kiddo?" Saburo asked as he patted her head.

Mika nodded, "Just got off the phone with the support company about a few equipment ideas on my hero costume." she said.

Yuma looked at the photo and handed it to Saburo, "*I'm sorry I didn't tell you about the redesign.*" she signed, "*I should've told you, but you were asleep and-*"

Mika stopped Yuma's hands, surprising her; she smiled, "It's alright mom, don't fret about it." she said, "Besides... I'm taking a liking to it." Saburo put the photo back on Mika's desk, "That's surprising, I thought you didn't like to show off your looks." he said.

Mika looked at the photo, "It's true that I'm not a tremendous fan of people staring at me because of my looks." she said. Mika turned to them and smiled a bit, "But a friend of mine told me he likes it so I'm not bothered about it." she continued.

Yuma grinned a bit, "*Is that friend of yours your boyfriend?*" she signed; Saburo looked at Mika, "Is it that Koda guy you talk about?" he asked.

Mika blushed a lot and panicked, "N-No!" she shouted; she looked away and tapped her forefingers together, "W-Well... it's true that Koda was the one who said I looked nice in my hero costume." she said, "B-But we're only friends!"

Both of her parents giggled and smiled, "*Either way, we're proud that you're getting out of your comfort zone.*" Yuma signed.

Mika had a wry smile and remembered something; she turned to Saburo, "Hey Dad, did you bring the things I asked for in my text?" she asked with excitement. Saburo nodded, "I brought them, but why the sudden interest?" he asked.

Mika looked at Saburo with determination, "Well... in case I can't use my Quirk or have a creature with almost no traits, I want to practice with them to use them during battle." she said, "I want to counter some weaknesses my Quirk might have."

Saburo nodded, "I understand, sweetheart." he said; he turned to the door, "If you're ready to practice, then let's head outside." he continued as he left. Mika nodded, "Right!" she shouted as she left the room with him.

Mika and Saburo were in a small park, doing some melee weapon training. Mika had a mace in one hand and a shield in the other hand; Saburo formed a mace and a shield from his hands.

As they were training, Yuma used an animal trait to watch them. Both of Mika's parents were once pro heroes at one time, but one incident made Yuma go deaf and they retired from their hero work very early.

Saburo now works as a high-ranked police officer while Yuma stays home as a housewife, but she didn't mind as long as they're still together. Mika swung her mace at Saburo, but he blocked all of her attacks with his shield.

When Saburo started retaliating, Mika used her shield as best as she can to block his attacks. As they were training, Saburo swung his mace near Mika's face.

Mika dodged it, but she lost her balance and fell on the ground. Mika tried to get up, but she stopped when Saburo's mace pointed at her.

Saburo sighed as he turned his arms back to normal, "We need to work on that if you plan on using melee weapons." he said as he reached his hand out to Mika. Mika nodded as she grabbed Saburo's hand, "I know." she said as she got up.

Saburo patted Mika's head, "For your first time handling a mace, I gotta say I'm kind of impressed." he said with a slight smile. Mika looked at Saburo, "Do you... think I'll be as good as you, dad?" she asked with worry.

Saburo frowned a bit and hugged his Mika, "I don't think... I know you will be as good as me, sweetheart." he said as his fingers went through her hair. Tears pricked in Mika's eyes and she hugged Saburo back tightly.

They separated from the hug; they looked at the apartments and saw Yuma waving, "Come on Mika, let's get something to eat and continue training in the morning." Saburo said.

Saburo stretched his arms and yawned a bit, "I'm already getting tired." he continued. Mika wiped her tears away and nodded, "Right." she said as they left the park.

"Excuse me, miss?" A reporter and other people stopped Mika in front of the U.A. gates. Mika sighed, Damn reporters. she thought, I know what you're after, but couldn't you do this after school.

Mika turned to the reporter with an annoyed smile, "Yes?" she asked in irritation. The reporter pointed a microphone in front of Mika's face, making her jump a bit, "Is it true that All Might is a teacher in U.A. High?" she asked.

Mika looked at the cameraman and noticed the video camera was recording, making her a little nervous. Mika nodded, "It's true." she said; many people were writing on their notepads, "What's he like?" she asked, "Is he an excellent teacher? What are his methods of teaching?"

They bombarded Mika with questions; she got angry on the inside, *I want to use my Quirk, but I can't since I'm trying to be a hero.* she thought.

Mika sighed, "All Might is always his loud and positive self as he always is outside of school." she said, "Even though I can tell it's his first time teaching people, he does his best."

Mika looked at the reporter, "And, the way he teaches is more of a 'show you how it's done' than making lectures and using a slideshow." she continued, "Other than that, he's a good teacher." Mika watched the other people writing the information they got.

Before the reporter could ask another question, they were interrupted, "Lyoko." Mika turned her head and saw Mr. Aizawa walking towards them, making her sigh in relief, "What are you doing outside?" he asked.

Mr. Aizawa pointed to the school, "Get inside or you'll be late to class." he said. Mika nodded, "Yes Sensei." she said as she ran past the gate. Mika looked back at Mr. Aizawa for a bit and entered the school.

Mika entered the classroom and sat at her desk; she sighed in relief, "I'm guessing the media bombarded you." she turned her head to Rikido. Mika nodded, "It was annoying, but I went with it." she said; Koji turned to her, "*Didn't you get my text?*" he signed.

Mika nodded, "I did, but I didn't think it would be that bad... so I walked my usual route and didn't avoid them." she said as she placed her stuff on her desk, "That was the biggest mistake I've made."

Rikido nodded, "We should've seen something like this coming." he said, "Did you answer their questions?" Mika nodded, "I did, and I was being honest." she said. "*What did they ask?*" Koji signed with curiosity.

Mika rubbed the back of her neck, "They wanted to know how good of a teacher All Might is." she said, "What about you guys?"

Both of them sighed, "*They asked me similar questions about All Might too.*" Koji signed, "*I was too nervous to answer them, but I was lucky that Sato and the others were there.*"

Rikido nodded, "They bombarded me with questions about All Might, but I just ignored them and tried to walk away." he said, "However, when I saw Koda getting attacked by the media, Tokoyami, Shoji, and I stopped them and brought him to class; he was shaking a lot."

Koji nodded to confirm Rikido's statement; Mika nodded, "I see." she said lowly. Mika turned to Koji, "Sorry I wasn't there to help you." she said, "If I knew the media was that bad, I could have used an intimidation animal trait of mine to scare them off."

Before Koji could forgive Mika, the door opened; they turned to the front as Mr. Aizawa entered, "Good morning, students." he said as he walked towards the podium, "Good work on yesterday's battle training."

Mr. Aizawa turned to them and looked at some papers, "I've looked over your grades and evaluations." he continued. Mr. Aizawa looked at Katsuki, "Bakugo, grow up already and don't waste your talent." he said.

Instead of Katsuki getting angry, he just looked away, "Got it." he said lowly. "Midoriya." Mr. Aizawa said, making Izuku jump a bit and look at his desk, "It seems like you broke your arm again during training to win. I don't want to hear that you can't control your Quirk."

Izuku looked down, "However, I can see some potential and I believe that you can overcome it." Mr. Aizawa continued, "Work on handling your Quirk." Izuku looked at Mr. Aizawa smiling and nodded, "Yes sir!" he shouted. Mr. Aizawa nodded, "Let's see... who else?" he asked rhetorically, "Lyoko."

Mika stayed calm and looked at Mr. Aizawa, "Good job on handling yourself against Todoroki." he said, "However, don't go overboard on your abilities. I already have Midoriya to worry about, and I don't want to add you to the list." Mika nodded, "Yes Sensei." she said.

Mr. Aizawa nodded, "Let's get down to business, then." he said, "I'm sorry for the sudden announcement, but..." They held their breaths, *Is it a Quirk test.* they thought.

"You'll be deciding on a class representative." Mr. Aizawa continued; everyone sighed in relief, *Oh good, just normal school stuff...* they thought. Everyone raised their hands and shouted like a wild crowd; Koji turned to Mika, "*Do you want to be the class representative?*" he signed.

Mika rubbed the back of her neck, "To be honest, leading other people isn't my forte." she said bluntly, "But if I'm chosen to be the class rep... then so be it." Koji smiled, "*Hopefully, you get the position.*" he signed.

Mika smiled a bit, but it was short-lived, "Everyone! Leading people is an enormous responsibility, and it can't be given to a normal student." they turned to Tenya with his hand raised, "I believe a vote should determine this."

Tsuyu looked at Tenya, "But Iida, none of us know a lot about each other to know who to trust." she said. Eijiro turned to Tenya, "Yeah! And besides, everyone would vote for themselves." he said.

Tenya nodded and made some hand gestures, "That's exactly why we should do a vote!" he said, "Whoever gets the most votes is considered the most trusted!" he said. Tenya turned to Mr. Aizawa in his yellow sleeping bag, "Will you allow this, Sensei!?" he shouted.

Mr. Aizawa sighed, "Whatever works, just get it over with after my nap." he said as he laid on the ground. Tenya nodded, "Thank you, sir!" he shouted; they looked at each other and agreed to put it to a vote.

Mika tapped her pencil on her cheek, *Who should I vote for?* she thought as she looked at her classmates. Mika looked at Tenya, *Iida was the one who came up with this idea.* she thought, *Maybe I should vote for him.* Mika smiled and wrote a name.

(Small Time Skip)

After everyone voted, they looked at the board; they saw Izuku's name at the top of the board with three votes, "I got three votes!?" he shouted. Katsuki got angry, "Alright! Who voted for Deku!?" he shouted. Hanta turned to Katsuki, "Do you really think anyone would vote for you?" he said.

Tenya was surprised at the results, "Only one vote." he said. Tenya looked down, "I thank the person who voted for me..." he continued, "I appreciate it."

Momo looked at Tenya, "So you didn't vote for yourself." she said. Rikido looked at Tenya, "What gives, you were the one who came up with this." he said.

Mika looked at Tenya and smiled a bit, *I still think you're a good leader.* she thought. Mika turned to the board and looked for the name under Izuku's name.

Mika's face went pale when she saw her name under Izuku's name with two votes, "How the hell did I wind up with two votes." she said. Katsuki's anger got worse, "Who the hell voted for animal girl!?" he shouted. Hanta turned to Katsuki, "You're just proving my point, dude." he said.

Mika looked at Koji, but he looked away; she shook her head and looked at the board. Mika looked under her name and saw that Momo had two points.

Mr. Aizawa woke up from his nap, "Alright, Midoriya will be the class rep." he said, "As for deputy class rep, however..." Mr. Aizawa turned to Mika and Momo, "You two need to decide who will take this position." he continued.

Momo got out of her seat and walked towards Mika's desk, "Lyoko... I know a way to figure out who'll take the place of deputy class rep." she said.

Mika shook her head, "There's no need for that." she said, making all of them stare at her. Momo was confused, "What do you mean?" she asked. Mika stood up and looked at Momo, "To be honest with you, I believe that you should take the position." she said, shocking everyone.

Momo looked at Mika, "What! But, I thought-" Mika raised her hand, causing her to stop, "I know that this is an opportunity to lead other people, but I don't think I'm fit to be a leader." she said.

Mika blushed a bit when everyone stared at her; she shook her head, "If I was against another student that didn't have superb leadership skills, I would understand that." she said.

Mika looked at Momo, "However... if I'm faced against you or Iida for leadership, I'm out of your leagues." she continued, "Your explanation about Midoriya's battle was far better than what I would think, meaning that you make excellent decisions and ideas."

Mika tapped her finger on her head, "Your intelligence is ten times better than mine and that's what you need for this position." she said.

Mika looked at Momo and smiled a bit, "I believe that you'd make a better deputy class rep than me." she continued; she heard whispers among her classmates.

Tears pricked Momo's eyes, and she hugged Mika tightly, "Thank you Lyoko! I'll do my best as a deputy class rep." she said. Mika smiled and returned the hug; everyone was in awe until Minoru ruined it, "Girl-on-Girl action, that's hot." he said.

Mika walked towards Minoru's with sharp claws coming out of her fingertips and pointed them to him, "Say anything perverted again, and you'll be torn to shreds." she said in an angry tone, "Understand?"

Minoru jumped a bit and quickly nodded; Mika retracted her claws back, "Good." she said. Mika calmed down and walked back to her desk, "As I was saying, I'm stepping down as deputy class rep and I'm giving the position to Momo Yaoyorozu." she continued.

Some of them clapped their hands for Mika while others were amazed, "Alright, settle down." Mr. Aizawa said. Mr. Aizawa looked at Mika, "I'll take it." he continued, "Lyoko is stepping down and Yaoyorozu is taking the position of deputy class rep." They nodded as classes continued.
