Round One

After the sports festival's activities, the tournament field was being set up. Mika was in her gym uniform and sat next to Koji, "I wonder how Midoriya will do in this tournament." she said.

Koji nodded in agreement, "The first match is about to start!" Present Mic shouted, making them look at the field, "First up...!" Present Mic pointed to Izuku, "Making weird faces despite his excellent performance, it's Izuku Midoriya from the hero course!" he shouted, "Versus..."

Present Mic pointed to the boy with indigo hair, "He hasn't done a lot, it's Hitoshi Shinso from general studies!" he shouted. Mika looked at Hitoshi, *So that's his name.* she thought.

"The rules are simple!" Present Mic said, "Win by knocking your opponent out of the ring, immobilize them, or make them say 'I give up'! Give this battle your all and if you have to play dirty, then do it!"

Mika looked at Izuku, "Come on, Midoriya! You can do it!" she shouted. "Going for the kill is a big no-no! You'll be disqualified!" Present Mic said, "Because a true hero's fists fly at a villain! Now then, let's get this party started!"

When Mika looked at the field, she noticed Hitoshi was talking to Izuku. Mika was a little worried, *What's he trying to do?* she thought. "Ready...? START!" Present Mic shouted.

As Izuku charged at Hitoshi and said some stuff, he stopped running, surprising them. "What's this!? Midoriya has stopped moving!" Present Mic shouted. Mika tilted her head, "What in the world?" she asked rhetorically.

"Damn it, Midoriya!" Mika turned her head and saw Mashirao panicking, "I warned you about this!" Mika remembered what Mashirao said, "Hey Ojiro." she said, making him turn to her, "You couldn't remember the cavalry battle because Shinso was controlling you, wasn't he?"

Mashirao looked at the ground and nodded. Mika looked at Izuku as he started walking out of bounds, "I see..." she said, "When Midoriya spoke to Shinso, that's when he was under his mind control. Is there any way of breaking out of it?"

Before Mashirao could say something, Izuku moved his fingers. When Izuku moved his fingers down, he created a shock wave, making him break out of the mind control. Mashirao was shocked, "How did he..." he said lowly.

Mika tilted her head and looked at Mashirao, "Is pain the only way to get out of the mind control?" she asked. Mashirao looked at Mika, "Well... the reason I was no longer mind controlled was because I bumped into Koda." he said.

Mika was shocked and turned to Izuku, "His will is a lot stronger than I thought." she said lowly as she saw Izuku flip Hitoshi out of the ring. Midnight pointed her whip to Izuku, "Shinso is out of the ring, Midoriya moves on to the second round." she said.

The crowd cheered for Izuku and Hitoshi, "I'm glad he made it." Mika said with a slight smile. Mashirao turned to Mika, "Doesn't your round start after Todoroki's?" he asked. Mika nodded as she stood up, "I better get down there pronto." she said, "I'll see you guys later."

Koji and Mashirao waved goodbye as Mika walked away, "You're a lucky guy, Koda." Mashirao said in a teasing tone. Koji was confused for a bit; soon after, he blushed and quickly waved his hands. Mashirao chuckled a bit as they continued watching the tournament.

(Time Skip)

The match between Shoto and Hanta was not surprising, but it shocked Mika and the others on how powerful Shoto's ice Quirk is as he created a giant ice wall.

Mika could hear the crowd saying 'Nice try' to Hanta. Mika gulped a bit and was shaking a lot, *If I were to go against Todoroki again, I'd have to be very lucky...* she thought.

When Shoto was announced that he was in the second round, he melted the ice and walked away. Mika took a deep breath and exhaled; she walked towards the field.

"With the arena thawed out, it's time for our third match!" Present Mic shouted. Present Mic pointed to Mika, "We have the wild animal girl with a big heart to others, it's Mika Lyoko from the hero course!" he shouted, "Verses..."

Present Mic pointed to Denki, "The sparking, killing boy and Lyoko's classmate, it's Denki Kaminari from the hero course!" he shouted.

Mika stretched her arms and legs, "Hey Lyoko." she looked at Denki with a slight grin on his face, "No hard feelings, but this match will be over in an instant."

Present Mic smiled, "Let the third match... begin!" he shouted. Electricity surrounded Denki, "Indiscriminate Shock: 1.3 Million Volts!" he shouted as he shot his electricity towards Mika, electrocuting her.

Mika looked like she was in pain, but she had a big grin, "You think that'll effect me twice, Kaminari." she said "Underestimating me was your biggest mistake." Almost everyone was completely shocked, "But how?" Kyoka asked.

"It's a mythical animal trait." they looked at Momo, "I saw it in a book Mika was reading in the library. Apparently, there was one about a dragon that could control electricity, and that the dragon was immune to electrocution since it flew within the thunderclouds."

Kyoka looked at the field, "So Mika could handle Kaminari's Quirk with that animal trait." she said, "How come she didn't use it during the cavalry battle?"

Momo looked at Mika, "It's possible she didn't have enough time to react to it, or she felt bad on herself if she was the only one who didn't feel the shock." she said.

Soon after, Denki stopped his electricity, leaving him with a derpy face. Mika transformed into a cheetah hybrid and sprinted towards Denki, "You're right about one thing, this match will be over in an instant." she said as she punched him out of the ring.

Midnight pointed to Mika with her whip, "Kaminari is out of the ring, Lyoko moves on to the second round." she said, making the crowd cheer; she sighed in relief and used her collar.

Cementoss looked at Mika as she turned back to normal, "She's very impressive." he said, "Knowing what her opponent will do before the match even began."

As Mika walked out of the ring, Midnight looked at Cementoss, "My, my, that impressed with her abilities." she said, "Almost sounds like you want to have her for her hero internship." Cementoss thought about it, "That doesn't sound like a terrible idea." he said.

When Mika returned to the stadium, she heard a voice, "Mika!" she turned her head to Ochaco and Izuku, "Great job against Kaminari; that was amazing!" Ochaco shouted.

Izuku nodded, "If your fight was almost like this during combat training, I really wish I could've seen it." he said. Mika blushed a bit and smiled, "Thanks you guys." she said as she returned to her seat.

(Time Skip)

After the match, Mika watched her other classmates. They were surprised that the girl with support items used Tenya for her products and walked out of the ring.

Mika was dumbfounded, *She used him to sell her products... that's messed up.* she thought. Mika looked at Tenya on the field, *Either way... my opponent for the second round will be Iida.* she thought, *How can I beat him?*

Mika got out of her thoughts when Koji tapped her shoulder, "Sorry, I was... thinking about stuff." she said. Koji nodded, "*Thinking of a way to beat Iida?*" he signed. Mika nodded, "He's a tough opponent." she said, "I need to find his weakness quickly."

Mika continued watching the match between Mina vs. Yuga, with Mina winning the fight. Mika also saw the match between Momo vs. Fumikage, with Fumikage winning the fight.

Mika noticed Momo was sad as she returned to the stadium. Mika got up and walked towards Momo, "Hey Momo." she said. Momo looked at Mika, "Oh... hey Mika." she said in a depressed tone.

Mika frowned a bit and quickly thought of something. Mika transformed into a rabbit and hopped into Momo's arms, surprising her. Mika looked at Momo, "Will this cheer you up?" she asked. Momo was shocked and looked down a little, "A little..." she said.

Mika smiled, "If you'd like, I can stay like this until my match against Iida." she said, "It shouldn't waste my energy." Momo smiled a bit and took a seat next to Koji.

(Small Time Skip)

Mika cuddled with Momo as a rabbit while watching the others fight. Mika was surprised that Eijiro and Tetsutetsu's round ended with a tie, "That's impressive." she said.

Momo nodded as she petted Mika, "However, I had a feeling that something like this would happen." she said; Koji nodded in agreement. On the last match, Mika tried her best to look at the fight between Ochaco and Katsuki, but it was hard for her to watch.

Momo noticed it and picked Mika up, surprising her. Momo held Mika out to Koji, making him turn to them, "It looks like Mika wants to watch the fight." she said, "Do you mind holding her so she could watch?"

Mika was shocked and turned to Momo, "Huh!?" she shouted. Koji blushed a bit, but nodded as he took Mika out of Momo's hands. As Koji held his hand with Mika on it out, she turned to Momo and glared at her. Momo smiled a bit and quietly giggled.

Mika turned to Koji; he smiled a bit with a slight blush, "I-I don't mind..." he whispered. Unbeknownst to Momo and Koji, Mika was blushing a lot. Mika looked forward, *I'm glad I have fur covering my face.* she thought.

Mika shook her head and focused on watching the fight between Ochaco and Katsuki. During the fight, Mika was impressed on how Ochaco could handle herself on someone like Katsuki.

However, as the fight came close to the end, Mika was sad when she saw Ochaco on the ground unconscious, "Uraraka is knocked out, Bakugo moves on to the second round." Midnight said.

Momo looked at Mika, "Your fight is after Midoriya and Todoroki, correct?" she asked. Mika nodded and turned to Koji, "Can you place me on the ground?" she asked. Koji nodded as he gently placed Mika on the ground.

Mika pressed the button on her collar, making her turn back to normal, "I better get to the tunnel." she said. Mika turned to them waved goodbye, "I'll see you guys later." she continued; they waved goodbye as she left.
