As it got darker, Mika and Koji were in a train cart holding hands; she laid her head on his arm, "Man! Time flies by quickly when your busy with patrols and other things." she said, "Sucks that it was the last day."
Koji nodded and looked at the ground; Mika noticed he was shaking and turned to him, "Something wrong, Koji?" she asked. Koji flinched a bit and turned to Mika, "I-It's nothing... I was just thinking about something." he said; she was concerned, "What about?" she asked.
Koji sighed and looked forward, "I was thinking if... I should tell my mom about you and me being in a relationship or not." he said. Mika nodded, "I see..." she said; she realized something, "Now that you mention it, I wonder how my parents would react if I told them about it." she continued.
Koji was shaking more, "I-I never thought about that either." he said, "If your parents knew that you have a boyfriend, it wouldn't be good."
Koji turned to Mika, "What if-" she planted a kiss on his cheek, making him blush a bit, "My parents won't hate you." she said, "To be honest... I'm worried about it too, but if they knew who I'm dating was you, then I think they'd be fine with it."
Koji looked at Mika, "Y-You think so?" he asked. Mika nodded, "As for you telling your mom... I'm not sure how she'll react." she said, "But I have a feeling that she'd be happy for you." she said; Koji smiled, "Thank you, Mika." he said.
Mika smiled, but it was short-lived when her phone went off. Mika pulled her phone out of her pocket and looked on it, "That's... weird." she said; Koji looked at her, "What is it?" he asked.
Mika turned to Koji, "Apparently... Midoriya sent out his location in the group text." she said. Mika looked at her phone, "If I'm reading this correctly... he's in some alleyway in Hosu City." she continued.
Koji tilted his head, "Hosu City... isn't that in the Ishikawa prefecture?" he asked. Mika nodded, "Whatever he's doing there, we can't reach him." she said, "It would take hours for us to get there."
Mika clenched on her phone, "I remember seeing the news about Ingenium and the Hero Killer: Stain." she continued, "I hope that isn't the reason he sent his location."
Koji got worried and tried to think of something. Koji held Mika's hands in his, making her turn to him. Koji tried to place his forehead on Mika's forehead, "Sorry if it's a little clunky." he said, "It's something Yuwai-chan would do for me, and it always cheered me up."
Mika smiled, "I don't mind." she said, "Actually..." Mika made some adjustments and rubbed her nose against Koji's nose, "This is much better." she continued.
Koji blushed a bit and smiled, "Arrived at Kitakami." the intercom said; they stopped their brief interaction and left the train with their belongings.

After some time, they arrived and entered Koji's house, "Welcome back, you two." Tsunoji said smiling. Mika waved back, but Koji was still in thought. Tsunoji turned to Koji a little worried, "Is something wrong, Koji?" she asked.
Koji sighed and faced Tsunoji, "U-Um... there's something I'd like to talk about." he said. Tsunoji nodded, "What is it, dear?" she asked; before Koji could speak, Mika's phone went off, making her jump a bit.
They turned to Mika as she put her hand in her pocket, "Sorry, that's me..." she said. When Mika pulled her phone out and looked at it, her face went a little pale when she saw 'Dad' on the caller ID, "Is something wrong, Lyoko?" Tsunoji asked.
Mika shook her head, "N-No it's fine, I need to take this." she said. Mika turned to Koji, "Koda, why don't you tell your mom what we talked about in the train." she continued.
Koji panicked a bit; Mika smiled, "It's alright... everything will be fine." she said. Koji calmed down a bit and nodded; Mika quickly headed upstairs.
As Mika got away from them, she answered her phone, "Hello." she said. "Hey there, my little princess!" Saburo shouted, "I saw a video clip of you and Koda about saving some people in a burning building."
Mika scratched the back of her neck, "Really." she said. "Yep! I can't believe my daughter being on the news." Saburo said, "I'm so proud of you."
Mika blushed a bit and looked down, "Th-Thanks dad." she said. Saburo somehow noticed the worry in Mika's voice, "Is something wrong, Mika?" he asked.
Mika panicked on the inside, "W-Well... there's something I'd like to talk about." she said. "Is that so?" Saburo asked, making Mika's panicked state worse.
Mika nodded, "I-I remember you saying that you're worried about who I date, a-and-" she heard Saburo sigh, "You're stalling, Mika." he said, "Just get to the point." Mika jumped a bit and quickly nodded, "R-Right!" she shouted.
Mika took a deep breath and exhaled, "It's about me and Koda." she said, "We're... um... dating now." The other end of the call was silent; Mika heard the phone being placed down, making her worry, "D-Dad?" she asked.
Mika heard squeals in the background from both parents, surprising her. Saburo picked the phone up, "You two are dating; I'm so happy for you!" he shouted. Mika was shocked, "Wait, you aren't mad or scared about it?" she said.
Saburo laughed, "Of course not!" he said, "To be honest, your mother and I had a hunch that you two would be together at some point but not sure when." Mika blushed a lot, "S-Seriously!? You almost gave me a heart attack!" she shouted.
Saburo chuckled, "Anyway, I'm glad about it." he said, "If he makes you happy, then that's all I care about." Mika smiled, "Thanks dad." she said. "Alright kiddo, just seeing how you're doing and tell you I love you." Saburo said.
Mika nodded, "Love you too, dad." she said. "Take care, okay." Saburo said; Mika nodded, "Always." she said. "Alright, bye." Saburo said as he ended the call.
Mika sighed in relief and put her phone back in her pocket, "That went better than I expected." she said, "I wonder how Koji is handling things with his mom."
As Mika peeked her head out, she saw them talking. When Mika quietly walked to the bottom of the stairs, Koji looked behind Tsunoji and got nervous.
When Tsunoji turned around and saw Mika, she had an enormous smile and hugged her, "My little Koji has a girlfriend." she said, hugging her tighter, "I'm so happy!"
Mika smiled a bit and returned the hug, "I guess he told you." she said. Tsunoji lets go of Mika, "That's right! It can be a scary feeling for their children when they reach that age." she said, making Koji blush a lot. Mika blushed a bit, "That's... understandable..." she said.
Tsunoji smiled, "Anyway, it's very exciting to see my son's girlfriend and future daughter-in-law." she said. Hearing that made Mika's face red, "F-F-Future... d-daughter-in-law..." she stuttered. Koji's face was red and looked at Tsunoji, "M-Mom! D-Don't say stuff like that!?" he shouted.
Tsunoji turned to Koji, "What? Do you not plan on marrying her?" she asked. Koji covered his face and mumbled some stuff in his hands. Mika turned to Koji, "I-It's alright, Koji." she said, "P-Please calm down." Tsunoji squealed at their cuteness while they were still flustered.

After the embarrassing moment, Koji and Mika watched a movie in the living room. Koji turned to Mika, "S-Sorry about my mom." he said, "I-I didn't think she'd say stuff like that."
Mika shook her head, "I-It's fine; just unexpected." she said, "I had a feeling that she would be happy, but not like that." Koji giggled a bit, "That's my mom for you, she gets very excited about stuff like that." he said.
Mika looked at the ground and blushed a bit, "But when she started talking about... marriage... that caught me off guard." she said; Koji blushed a bit and looked down, "Y-Yeah..." he said lowly.
Mika turned to Koji, "Do you think something like that could happen?" she asked, "You and me... being married?" Koji started blushing more.
Mika panicked a bit and looked away, "I-I'm probably overthinking this; sor-" Koji kissed her, making her stop talking. Mika froze a bit, but she closed her eyes and kissed back lightly.
They separated and stared at each other, "It might, but we won't know until the day comes." Koji said with a gentle smile. Mika smiled a bit, "Y-Yeah, I guess so." she said.
They continued watching the movie until Koji realized something, "H-How would our classmates react if they knew we're together?" he asked.
Mika had her hand on her chin, "Now that you mention it, I'm not sure." she said, "We could tell them about it, or keep it a secret." Koji turned to Mika, "To be honest... I'd prefer to keep it a secret." he said.
Mika turned to Koji, "Are you sure? At some point, they'll find out." she said. Koji nodded, "I-I know, but I don't think I'm ready to tell them." he said.
Mika nodded, "If you don't want to tell them, then I won't tell them either." she said; Koji smiled, "Thank you, Mika." he said. Mika smiled and scooted closer to Koji; she laid her head on his arm. Koji wrapped his arm around Mika's shoulder and they continued watching the movie.

When the movie ended, Mika stretched her arms and yawned, "Well... I think it's time for us to get some sleep." she said. Koji nodded as he lifted his arm; Mika got up and grabbed the futon.
Koji yawned in his hand, "I feel too tired to go up to my room." he said. As Mika laid the futon on the ground, she looked at Koji with a grin, "Well... you either have that option or lay with me in the futon." she said in a teasing tone.
Koji blushed a lot, but he got up and helped Mika with the futon, "T-That sounds like a good idea." he said. Mika looked at Koji shocked and panicked a bit, "I-I was just teasing with you." she said, "I-I don't want to force you to do things if you don't want to."
Koji chuckled and kissed Mika's forehead, "You're not forcing me to do anything." he said. Koji blushed a bit, "I-I would like to try it... if you want to..." he continued. Mika blushed a lot and looked at the ground, "A-Alright..." she said lowly.
Koji smiled and laid inside the futon; Mika laid inside the futon and scooted close to him. Koji flinched a bit at the sudden action. Mika panicked and turned to Koji, "S-Sorry... I'm not used to laying next to people." she said.
Mika tried scooting away, "I can-" she jumped a bit when she felt Koji's hand on her back, "N-No... it's fine." he said. Koji blushed a lot and looked away, "I-I would like to... sleep close to you... if you want to..." he said lowly.
Mika blushed a lot and slowly nodded, "O-Okay..." she said lowly. Mika positioned herself to where her back was on Koji's chest; he was shaking, but he wrapped his arm around her stomach. Koji looked at Mika with a slight blush, "I-Is this... okay?" he asked.
Mika turned to Koji and slowly nodded, "Yeah... this is okay..." she said lowly. Koji smiled a bit, "W-Well then... w-we should sleep." he said; Mika nodded in agreement.
Mika gave Koji a chaste kiss and smiled a bit, "Good night, Koji." she said; he smiled a bit, "Good night... Mika." he said. They laid back on the futon and slept together peacefully.
