Work

*Ring* *Ring* *Ring* *Ring*

The bell rang as I finished my lunch and work for the day.

After we packed things up, Ryuu, Tatsuya, and I left the library for class. The walk was silent and Ryuu was being protective again.

Though I could tell Tatsuya was not happy, it wasn't like he was really mad or anything.

If I had to guess, it would be similar to not getting a piece of candy. You would like to have it, but you wouldn't care that much if you couldn't.

'Doesn't the saying usually compare it to losing a toy?'

It is.

'Then why did you compare yourself to a piece of candy?'

Because I'm sweet and delicious~

'...'

Also because I don't like mixing the words 'toy' and 'yandere' together.

'... Right.'

After a few minutes, we reached the class and opened the door. Most of the students are here already.

Some of the students looked our way with some... 'unique' expressions to say the least.

There's definitely going to be more gossip about me.

Sighing, I walked to my desk. Before I sat down, Akira already asked how lunch went with his eyes shining in anticipation.

"Uhhh." What do I say? I get the feeling if I tell him about it, he'll get a real kick out of it.

"Something must've happened for you to hesitate like that." Akira smirked. "Also, the fact that you don't want to tell me is another telltale."

"Well, it's not that I don't want to tell you. It's just that I-'' I remembered the confession and spoon feeding in the library. I blushed at those thoughts.

"Oh ho~ Something definitely happened~" Akira grinned like the devil. "So wanna tell me?"

I became flustered. I blushed a bit more and looked away from Akira's face. Though I don't want to, Akira will 100% use this on me in the future if I don't tell him.

"W-Well. Someone spoon fed me for the f-first time."

"Is that all?" Akira continued on.

"Y-Yeah. Why?" I looked back at Akira and found him looking more amused.

"Really? Your blush is saying otherwise."

"O-Of course I'm blushing!" I looked away again and blushed even more as I continued.

"I-It was my first time doing t-that, after all."

"..."

Hearing no reply, I looked back and saw that Akira was silent. "W-What is it?"

"It's nothing." Akira sighed and patted my head as if I'm an innocent baby. "Just don't say that again. Otherwise, other people might misunderstand."

"What do you mean?" I looked up and tilted my head at him.

"Forget it. Class is starting now." Akira sighed again and sat in his seat.

The teacher walked in and I looked forward, paying half attention to class. The other half I used to converse with 'her.'

'Why are you acting so innocent?'

I don't know what you mean.

'I mean, we both know what you're real-'

I. Don't. Know. What. You. Mean.

'... Ok.'

Classes continued and were fine, to say the least.

It mostly wasn't boring for me, but it was for 'her.' 'She' just went to sleep after our last conversation.

'She' isn't as stressed as before, but because of our deal, she wouldn't control the body. Otherwise, it would have been chaotic with the constant switching.

'She's much less... restrained when I'm in control.

Right now though, I think 'she' just doesn't want to deal with school again.

Maybe I should skip one day. Ooo, that sounds tempting. I wonder if I could hide out in the library or even on the roof? Hmmm.

'You're starting to sound like a delinquent like Ryuu.'

The point?

'... I hate how you always have the last laugh.'

Thank you!

'See.'

As that conversation ended, class ended too and prep was underway once again.

I glanced back to see if Ryuu left. Thankfully he hasn't, though he's started to pack up.

Since I already packed most of my stuff before the class ended, it only took a few seconds before I'm finished. I grabbed my bag and got up from my seat, intending to walk over to Ryuu.

Unfortunately, someone stopped me.

"Let's go, Suzuki-kun." Tatsuya spoke loud enough for the whole class to hear.

All eyes zipped to me.

"Sure. Just give me a few minutes." I looked up to Tatsuya a few feet in front of me.

How the fuck did he pack up so fast?!

I swear I saw that he was nowhere close when the bell rang.

I walked to Ryuu who finished packing. He was glaring at Tatsuya until I came over, looking at me with a gentle gaze.

He's so obvious with the change. Cute.

Though the rumors are going to get worse.

Oh well. Who cares.

It's going to be true soon anyway.

'Are you really going to...'

You know the answer. WE want it.

'... Alright.'

Stopping a foot from Ryuu, I tried to look straight at his face, but immediately looked away when I remembered the confession. A tiny blush reached my cheeks.

"Hey, Ryuu-kun?"

"Yes?" God, he sounds so hot right now.

"I'll give you the answer tomorrow at lunch ok?"

"Alright." Ryuu gave me a small smile.

I think I heard a gasp behind me.

It sounded familiar. Like that girl who said top and bottom in the halls from before.

"See you tomorrow then."

"See you."

I waved and walked back to Tatsuya.

Ryuu walked out of class, not before giving one last glare at Tatsuya though.

"You're really close." Akira comes up to me and smiles mischievously.

"Wanna tell me what you're going to tell Yamamoto-kun tomorrow?"

Akira is definitely going to get a huge kick out of this.

... I'm going to lie.

'But he's your best friend.'

Do you want to get teased?

'... I heard nothing. I saw nothing.'

Good.

"The answers to the homework I gave him." I smiled innocently.

Thankfully I'm really good at acting.

"What?" Akira looked confused at my reaction, before smiling mischievously again.

"That's all? Really?"

"Well yeah. That's all." I tilted my head slightly, looking confused at his question.

"Why are you giving him homework?" Akira continued on.

"The same reasons why I'm tutoring him." I sighed.

"He's honestly so dumb to the point it makes him cute."

'You're supposed to keep the tutoring a secret! Now Ryuu is going to kill you!'

If it comes to it, I'll just honey trap him.

'You- I- Fuck!'

I gasped in my mind.

I, I never knew you had this kind of feeling for me. I'm sorry but I have to reject you. I already have someone I love.

'...'

"Cute?" The corner of Akira's lips twitched.

Huh, what? Where was I? Oh right!

"Yeah, cute!" I gave Akira a smile before questioning him.

"By the way, what else could I have given him tomorrow?"

"W-Well." Akira became flustered and blurted out the first thing he thought of.

"You could have given him gifts like chocolates or something."

Lying was worth it.

I heard 'her' sighed deeply.

'Forget it. I agreed with the lying. Revenge has never tasted so sweet.'

Speaking of sweet...

"Gifts like chocolate?" I tilted my head a bit more and had a pondering expression.

"I should get him some ."

"W-Wait why?"

"Well, Ryuu-kun has been doing quite well recently. So I should reward him."

He's really been such a good boy. I definitely have to reward him.

'You're treating him like a puppy again.'

Well, I have to train the bad boy into a good boy.

'Rewarding' and 'punishing' him will work the best.

'...'

"I-" Akira wanted to say more but was interrupted by a human sized ice cube.

"Suzuki-kun, you're taking too long. We're leaving now." Tatsuya looked colder, mostly likely mad at the time I'm wasting.

He started to walk out of class

"Alright." I did the same while I waved my hand back at Akira. "See you later."

"Bye." Akira waved back.

As I walked to the door, it was impossible to miss hearing the class gossip.

"I really don't understand Suzuki-kun."

"He looks innocent and pure, but the way he flipped off a guy was too different and cool."

"He doesn't seem like a bad guy, but the fact that he hangs out with the Dragon and Ice King is..."

"But he's also friends with Aki-kun and Yuu-kun right?"

"How can you be friends with such different people?"

"He looks really 'close' with the Dragon and Aki-kun."

"Maybe it's a love triangle. Suzuki-kun has to be the bottom right?"

"I don't know if I should be scared of or amazed by Suzuki-kun."

Unlike last time, I closed the door normally. Though I nearly tripped when I heard the love triangle comment.

###

"Give me your bag." Tatsuya demanded once we reached the school gates.

I handed it over. Then he handed me some papers on a clipboard and a pen.

Ah right. Since I can't carry my bag on my shoulder like usual, my hands were full. Now, I just had the documents I needed along with the writing utensil.

"I expect today to be our last day, so we need to move fast." Tatsuya gauged my reaction. "That's fine, correct?"

"Of course."

Unfortunately for me, I underestimated what he meant by fast.

When he said we were going to move fast, he meant fast.

It felt like a marathon. The only time I got to rest was when we stopped at a business.

I am so going to exercise and buff up my body.

We finally finished at sunset.

"Good work. We barely managed to finish today." Tatsuya was looking through some papers.

The air around him was still a bit cold, but much better than when we started.

He probably felt satisfied with the work done.

"Y-Yes." God that was tiring.

I want to just lay down on the floor right now.

"Suzuki-kun, you seem a little worn out." Is he smirking?

...

Can beat him up?

'No.'

"Yeah. Just a little. It's not that bad." I tried to even out my breathing, slowly calming down my body.

"Shall we stop by a cafe? I'll buy you some refreshments as a reward for your hard work." Tatsuya said as he neatly put away the papers in files and into his bag.

"Uh, it's fine. I still need to-"

'Wait! I need to know what happened to him and his family that night.'

But I want to buy some chocolates for Ryuu.

'Just get them later.'

But it's late.

'Just do it!'

Fine...

"Well?" Tatsuya asked impatiently.

"Yeah, let's go." I sighed internally. I nodded my head and followed him.

At this point, thanks to the shared memories I got, I was surprised to walk into a trendy, young cafe.

I'm way too used to the manly, mature cafe Ryuu worked at.

Ryuu... I miss him already.

'Stop daydreaming.'

"Is there a problem?" Tatsuya asked with a raised eyebrow after I stopped moving once we stepped in.

"Oh, no. I just haven't been to a cafe like this one." I looked around curiously.

"Is that so? I heard this cafe was doing well in business with teenagers and young adults, so I thought this place would be suitable." Tatsuya emotionlessly explained while we lined up.

While we were here under the excuse of treating me, it was obvious to me that Tatsuya came here to scope out some competition.

At least he's back in a good mood.

I really don't want to fight against a super rich Frozone.

I sighed internally.

I miss my huge puppy.

'My?'

Mine.

'You meant ours right.'

...

'...'
