###('Haruka's POV)###

*Ding* *Ding *Ding* *Ding*

The bell rang before I could think any further about the pink screen in front of me.

"Let's go." Ryuu smiled at me and we left the rooftop side by side.

The walk to tutoring was quiet and peaceful.

If you ignore the pink floating screen and the two voices in my head.

One was asking why I'm ignoring them, while the other was super confused.

[Host? Host? Host???] An androgynous, mechanical like voice rang through my head.

From what I could tell this was a system, like those in the novels I've read. I've been staying silent from the moment it revealed itself.

I even stopped speaking in my head.

I don't trust it. I don't trust much of the things in this world.

'She' on the other hand was confused as to why the system was ignoring 'her.'

'Hello! Hey! Hi! Why are you ignoring me?!'

[Host, why are you ignoring me?]

'... Fuck you.'

Apparently, the system can't hear 'her.' Which makes things more suspicious.

I have to keep 'her' a secret.

I kept everything to myself, keeping control of my emotions as if this doesn't affect me at all.

[Host?]

'Yes.'

[Please answer me.]

'I am.'

[Host...]

'What?'

[Don't ignore me. QAQ]

'... #$%^&*(*&!'

While those two talked to themselves, we reached Sato-sensei's office.

Tutoring was great and Ryuu learned faster than usual. Thankfully the pink screen was out of the way, though it's still there.

I continued to tutor until I couldn't focus with the two voices in my head anymore.

Shut up! I'll talk later! And take down that pink screen already!

[Yes host.]

'Ok. I'm still mad though.'

After that, tutoring went much smoother. Although still Ryuu's brows furrowed and frowned from time to time, they disappeared after I talked to him.

I smiled every time this happened.

"Suzuki-kun." Sato-sensei beckoned from her desk. I glanced at Ryuu, who's attention was still on the problem in front of him, before getting up and heading to her desk.

"Yes?" I gave a polite smile, curious as to why she's calling me.

"What happened? What's with you and Yamamoto-kun?" Sensei asked with a raised eyebrow. "I can just feel the lovey dovey atmosphere that's around you two."

"Oh, we started dating today."

"You're what?!" Sensei shouted in surprise.

"Can you be quiet?" Ryuu looked over and said.

*Cough* *Cough*

"Right, sorry." Sensei coughed and tried to calm down.

Ryuu focused back on his questions after I waved my hand at him.

"Um. I wish you two good luck with your relationship." Sato-sensei awkwardly blessed us, though I could tell it's sincere.

"Thank you." I smiled.

*Ding* *Ding *Ding* *Ding*

The bell rang for class.

"Good job, you two." Sensei put on a refreshing grin, though still a bit awkward. "Let's keep this up, so you two can have fun during your break for a change."

*Snap*

I turned around to see Ryuu had snapped his pencil in half.

"I-If you get a decent score on the next, Yamamoto-kun, I won't force this tutoring on you anymore" Sensei continued hesitantly.

Ryuu didn't answer as he placed his broken pencil down.

"W-Well, here Suzuki-kun. The next lesson." Sensei slid the folder across her desk to me.

"Alright, thanks." I said as I picked it up. I then walked over to Ryuu with a smile.

I placed the folder back down on the table and then stood right next to Ryuu. He looked up at me, still having a slight frown.

I smiled and held his cheeks with my hands.

I then gave him a kiss on the forehead.

Ryuu became flustered and his cheeks blushed a little.

"Don't be mad." I leaned down and looked straight at Ryuu's eyes. "I don't mind tutoring you in private. So cheer up ok?"

"Ok." His displeasure from earlier dissipated instantly.

My smile got wider and I took a glance back at Sato-sensei to see her reaction.

I find her...

Having a nosebleed.

...

How many fujoshi does this school have!?

"Sensei your, uh, nose is bleeding."

"Oh, I am?" Sensei picked up a tissue and wiped the blood away. "Thank you."

"You're welcome."

I packed up my stuff and was ready to go. I looked over to Ryuu and saw that he was the same.

"Let's go." I said and Ryuu nodded.

We left Sato-sensei's office and walked back to class.

'You really don't care what other people think do you?'

I stayed silent, as if I didn't hear 'her' at all.

'Why aren't you talking to me?'

...

'Hello?'

...

'Am I being ignored?'

...

'Why are you doing this to me?'

...

'Fine, I'll stop now. But you better explain everything later ok?'

...

'I'll take that as a yes.'

With both noises gone, the walk to class was much more relaxing.

I looked over to Ryuu who was walking right beside me.

I suddenly have the urge to hold his hand.

The sunlight from the window landed on Ryuu's figure, making me examine him more closely.

Those smooth brown hair that's soft to the touch.

Those brown eyes that only turn gentle when directed at me.

Those red, luscious lips that only smiles for me.

Those big, firm, and strong muscles that can't be concealed under those clothes.

Especially for 'that' area.

I suddenly have urges to do more than holding his hand.

'...' Disgusted.jpg

Thankfully I still have a conscience, so I'll wait until we're both 18 to do it. Which means I have to wait for 2 years. I can wait out that long.

'...' Doubtful .jpg

I've been talking to myself in my head and the system hasn't responded at all.

Either it listened to me and stopped talking until I told it to talk, or it can't hear me at all.

I kept that last thought to myself and didn't say it in my head. This needs more testing.

When we entered the classroom, a few people looked over. Although they had varying and unique expressions, both me and Ryuu ignored them all.

We split up and reached our own desks. I gave Ryuu a smile and he gave one back before I started to look around.

Everyone was here. Akira was at his desk, Yuu with some friends, while Tatsuya is reading a book at his desk and he's-

!!!

Is he smiling?!

The corner of his lips is lifted up a little bit. If I didn't know him that well, I wouldn't have noticed it. I could have thought he still had a cold face on.

This is the first time I saw him smile by himself. Usually, he has to talk to me or about his parents to get any more emotions.

Looks like the counseling idea is going great!

But holy moly! Today really feels like a rollercoaster, and we're not even halfway done yet.

"Haru!" Akira ran from his desk to mine.

"Why are you calling me that?" I turned to face him.

"It's because it's shorter to say and much cuter." Akira leaned on my desk, with a weird look in his eyes.

"Fair enough." I shrugged.

"Anyways." Akira gave me a sly smile. "You wanna tell me the truth?"

"What truth?" I gave him a confused look.

"You know~" Akira wiggled his eyebrows and leaned closer to whisper to me. "Between you and Yamamoto-kun."

"Sure, I'll tell you later." I gave him my promise.

"Really? Thanks!" Akira smiled. Seems like he's happy that he'll get some more juicy gossip.

Then he froze suddenly and became nervous. He looked away from the back.

I turned around and glanced behind me. I saw Ryuu with a slight frown. From where he's looking, I can tell that he's glaring at Akira.

Cute! Ah!!! So cute! He's jealous that Akira is so close to me! Ah! Cute! Cute! Cute!

'I totally agree!'

I ignored her' and didn't respond.

'...'

I waved at Ryuu and smiled. He waved back and stopped glaring at Akira.

"Why was he glaring at me?" Akira visibly relaxes, though still a bit tense.

"Because he's a vinegar jar." I turned back to Akira.

"Vinegar jar?" Akira looked confused before realizing something. "Wait, he was jealous of me talking to you?"

"Yeah." I confirmed.

"Does that mean he likes you?" Akira looked straight at me, curiously filling his eyes.

I stayed silent and didn't answer.

"What with that reaction? Come on! Tell me!" Akira begged.

I continued to stay silent.

"Please! I need to know!" Akira begged harder.

"Didn't I say I'll tell you later?"

"Yes, you did! But you can't do this to me!" Akira had an exaggerated heartbreak expression. "You can't make me so interested and have me wait! I'll die from curiosity!"

"What kind of gravestone would you like? I'll get it for you."

"Meanie." Akira pouted.

"I'll tell you later jeez." I smiled.

"You better keep your promise." Akira gave a weird smile. Though I can't tell what it was, there was no malice towards me in it.

"I will."

The teacher entered the room and Akira went back to his desk. Since the lesson wasn't that important, I'll use the time for something else.

Time to do a Q&A with this so-called system.
