Chapter 4. Death and Happiness

It is now been 2 weeks after me and Cameron hugged (our 8 day of school). I was actually up before my alarm so I turned it off. I grab a towel and black ripped jeans and a light blue tee-shirt. I go into the bathroom and take a shower. After my shower I get dressed and I brush my hair and blow dry it. After that I put my hair into a braid. I pick out my white vans. So I go downstairs to the kitchen and get some cereal and a bowl (of course). I hear someone knocking on the front door and I go to the door. I open it and I see Cameron. Cameron: "Hey Rie." Hey I said with a smile. Cameron: "You ready to go to school, and where is Silvia. " Yes, and She is staying home because she is sick." So we get out side and Cameron opens the car door for me. Me:"Thanks Cam." Cameron: "No problem Princess." Me and Cameron are still not dating, Him and Bella have been Broken up for a while now. The car ride to school was silent. Cameron: "Wait, can I talk to you?" Me: "Sure." Cameron: "Can we start dating?" Me: "I will have to think about it, ok?" Cameron: "Sounds good to me, just tell me when your ready." We walk to our lockers and grab our books and head to our classes.

Skip to the end of the day

I put my books in my locker and I grab my back pack and phone and I close my locker. Cameron: "You ready to go?" Me: "Yeah." When I opened my front door my Mom ran to me crying and hugging me. "Mom what's wrong?" "Y-Your dad, He's Dead. " She cries even more. "Mom how did dad die?" "He got hit by a car and didn't survive. " Tears stroll down my face. I just hug my mom and said we are going to go through this together, Me, you, and Silvia. My mom wipes her tears away and I wipe mine away as well. Me: "Did Silvia hear the news about dad?" My mom: "Yeah she did, she was crying because she thought of us as her second family. " I put a sad face on. I go upstairs and I slam my door shut and I cry. I look out my window and see Cameron, I open the window and he comes into my room. Cameron: "Princess what's wrong?" My dad died I say crying more. He takes me in and pulls me close to his chest and he puts his fingers through my hair Saying it's going to be ok I'm here. Which made me realize I need him the most. Cameron layed down on my bed and said come here so before I layed down with him I need to change into something comfy since I was in jeans. So I wear my grey shorts and a black T-shirt. I let my hair down. I got into my bed and layed next to him. He still had his fingers in my hair. Cameron: "I don't want you to cry no more ok?" Me: "why?" Cameron: "Because when your sad, I'm sad and I hate seeing you cry." Cameron: "I love you Riley, always will." Me: "I love you too Cameron."

Cameron's POV

Even though I'm the popular boy, I still care about Riley. She is the best thing that ever happened to me. She makes me laugh, smile which is amazing. Hopefully she says yes to me. I love that girl so much. She makes me feel alive and like I can do anything in this world. When I saw her crying it tore me into pieces, my heart hurt so I told her to don't cry just for me and she agreed with a smile on her face which made me smile.

I feel so much better Thank you I say to him with a smile. Cameron: "Your welcome princess." Me: "Can we watch a movie?" Cameron: "Sure what movie?" "Me: "A happy one of course." He laughs Cameron: "ok if you say so."

-During the movie (Camerons POV)

I look down at Riley and she is sleeping. She looks so cute when she sleeps. I reach for the remote and I turn off the TV. I plug in my phone and her phone because I know how much she loves her phone. She moves to get comfy and I smile because she moves closer to me. I finally fell asleep.

-Morning- (Riley's POV)

I wake up to a warm body next to mine, I look over and it's Cameron. I smile and I say he looks adorable when he sleeps. Cameron: "Thanks Riley." Me: "Did I say that out loud?!" Cameron: "Yeah you did and thanks so do you." I blush hard. He sits up and says Aww your blushing. Shut up I say while throwing a pillow at him. He laughs and I smile. Cameron: "Come here Rie." No, I'm mad at you I say smiling. He comes and hugs me and I fall over. He is now on top of me ahhhhh 😂. Cameron: "This is a good view." I laugh, "No it's not." He gets off of me and I sit up. Me: "Can we get coffee from Starbucks since we don't have school Cameron: "Sure, whatever you want Princess." I get out of bed and I grab a towel and I go into the bathroom to take a shower. -After the shower- "Turn around Cameron, so you don't see me." "I'm not going to look, I promise." "Ok." I grab black ripped jeans and a purple crop top shirt and I grab my Blue converse. I drop the towel and start putting my clothes on. A few minutes later* I have all my clothes on, "you can look now Cam." I already seen you he says and he winks. "Let's just go to starbucks." We grab our phones and we leave.

~At Starbucks~

I order a Large Caramel Frappuccino and Cameron orders a green tea. We get our drinks and we leave Starbucks.

Cameron: "Now where does my princess want to go?" Me: "Shopping!" I got used to him calling me princess, even though were just friends and were both single. I know he likes me but maybe I like him? I don't really know if I like him or not. So we get into the car and we go to the mall.

Me: "Let's go to Forever 21." Cameron: "Anything for you." We walk into Forever 21 and I see this really cute blue crop top. I run over too it like a little kid asking if I can get candy. Me: "Can I get it, Can I get it?!" Cameron laughs then says sure. So I grab the shirt then we find some more clothes and we pay for it then we walk out of Forever 21. We go back home into my room and I sip my Caramel Frappuccino with a smile on my face. Cameron: "Can I kiss you right now?" Me: "Sure, but it's my first kiss." Cameron: "I promise, I'm going to make it special." He puts my coffee on the ground and he picks me up and he put me on the bed. Our lips touched. His lips are so sweet and soft I can't believe I'm saying this but I love this. We pull away. Me: "That was Amazing." Cameron: "Your welcome, anything for my Princess." I drink the rest of my Caramel Frappuccino, I throw it in the trash. Cameron picks me up from behind and he lays us on my bed so now my head is on his chest. He starts putting his hands through my hair. He grabs the blanket and covers me and him. I look up to him and I say thank you for everything since I've been here. Cameron: "No problem." My eyes start to get heavy. Cameron: "Hey, if your tired go to sleep." Me: "But I want to stay up with you." Cameron: "Princess, you need your sleep, your eyes are heavy, your yawning." Me: "Ok then good night I love you Cam." Cameron: "I love you too Rie."

Cameron's POV

I hear someone coming upstairs, I think it's probably Silvia. And I was right. Silvia comes in to the room. Silvia: "Cameron what are you doing in my best friends bed?" Me: "Shhhhh, she is sleeping." Silvia: "Are you trying to sleep with her?" Me: "I am not telling you that information." Silvia laughs then she says Well good night see you guys tomorrow. Silvia leaves the room. I turn off the light and I get comfy, trying not to move much because Riley is on me and I don't want to wake her up. I put my arm around her waist holding her tightly, and my other hand up by her back. Then I fall asleep. When Riley told me she loves me I feel happy, usually I'm a asshole and I make fun of people. But with Riley, she makes me feel like I'm myself and I'm Free and I can be happy instead of an asshole. Kissing Riley was the best thing because well I was her first kiss so it means so much to her and after we kissed She had a huge smile on her face. Her lips are so Soft. Then 2 hours later Riley says "No No NO!" Then she starts Crying. I shake Riley "Riley wake up, your having a bad dream wake up." Then finally she wakes up breathing heavily. "Your still here." Me: "I always been here, what were you dreaming about?" Riley: "My dad, You, Life in general." Riley than says "are you going to leave me?" Then she starts crying. "No, I'm not don't cry princess." Me and Riley Cuddle because she thinks I'm going to leave her which I'm not because I care a lot about her. I put my fingers through her messy hair. Me: "Your cute you know that right." Riley: "yeah I know that." She blushes. "Aw my princess is blushing come here." She moves in closer to me. Then we both fall asleep.
