After I've finished my plate, I called one of my maids over, "Thank you for the meal." I said as I stood up, "I'll be going now."
Father and I crossed paths down the hall, it seemed like he had been finding me, I guess the house is really huge that it was such a hassle to find me.
Father let out a sigh of relief as soon as he saw me, "Oh, there you are." Theodore sighed in relief, "I've been looking for you."
"I was eating breakfast." I replied as I was pointing at the kitchen, "Anyways, why were you looking for me?"
"You're mother begged me for something." He said in a frustrated tone. She has been so nosy, it's annoying me.
"What did she ask for?" I asked.
I guess she's gonna ask for forgiveness. Well, if that's the case, I can't. That's too much to ask for, if it's so easy for her to move on, then it isn't for our family.
Josefina Williams, a mother that I loved and adored very much. The woman whom my father was committed to, he did everything to win her precious love and even risked all he had to raise a family with her and all of those sacrifices comes crashing down cause of one loathsome mistake.
"She wants to have a word with you." He said in an earnest tone, "If that's okay with you."
I went silent for a moment, contemplating about whether I should give her the chance to have a proper conversation with me.
"Well,Ethan," Theodore said, "Have you made up your mind?"
I'm pretty sure I'll lash out at her, there's just so much wrath and hatred carved into my heart and I can't seem to get it off.
"I won't—I mean, I will have a word with her."
Father gave me a pat on the shoulder, "Okay, if that is your decision." Theodore said in a voice soft with affection. "I'll respect it and have a safe flight son."
After that conversation, we parted ways and I continued walking down the hall, back to the living room and there I saw my mother. Her arms folded, standing in the doorway.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, "I can do this." I mumbled to myself, trying to boost my confidence. Opened my eyes and started to approach her.
Hope this goes well...
