"I need to get you out of here," I told him quickly after the emotional moment between us. His eyes widened in surprise, a mix of confusion and concern flickering across his face.

 

"What do you mean? Why?" he asked, his voice tinged with worry.

 

"There's no time to explain now. Just trust me," I urged, grabbing his hand and pulling him towards the door. We hurried across the dimly lit room, the urgency of the situation palpable in the air.

 

As we reached the door, a sudden noise made us freeze in our tracks. Before we could react, a shadowy figure emerged from the darkness, wielding a heavy object in their hand. With a sickening thud, everything went black as I felt a sharp impact on the back of my head.
