Zero Experience

. . .

That morning, they all went back to work. It was a brief vacation but they all found relaxation just to be greeted by another controversy upon arrival.

"They think this is an act?" Zeirenne blurted out incredulously, "First they assume we're dating, and we did our best in saying no. And now that we've admitted to it, they're saying it's all an act?"

Well, their relationship was indeed an act, but surely, she found everything confusing. The greed of people never seem to end.

"What should we do?" Dorothy asked.

Right after arriving from the trip, they went back to a mountain of paperwork as the company faced thousands of calls for confirmation and questions. Somehow, there was a news company who decided to label their relationship as 'business relationship'-- it broke the internet once again.

"I think Mr. Young and Miss Lin should go out more," Assistant Colton suggested.

Both CEOs furrowed their eyebrows from his suggestion, "Go out? Like going for some recreational activities?" she asked.

"Go out more, like for publicity, Miss Lin. You can have your dates outside and people will get to know how sweet you both are to each other. Surely, their doubts will dissipate," Dorothy said, taking all the PR Department's suggestion into account, "If they see you both, I'm sure they'll be convinced."

Zeirenne leaned sideways, facing Jin as her fingers tapped her chin, "Hmmm. Did any of that make sense to you?"

"Well ahh... I uhm-I don't think that's such a bad idea."

"Hmm. Okay then."

After their mini conference with their assistants, they decided to formulate their plans with Dylan who was lounging inside the office.

Zeirenne took out her phone to search for everything related to the keyword 'date'.

"So we should go on a date? Where do we go?"

"I don't know. I've never really thought about it." Jin said, leaving the last sentence inside his head, "It doesn't matter where we're going as long as it's you I'm with."

"Then who should we ask?"

They both looked at Dylan and he shrugged his shoulders, "Don't ask me."

They both looked at Assistant Colton and before he could even speak, they already shook their heads. Assistant Colton had to tap his heart from their offensive expressions.

As if on cue, the TV started playing a news about an international star, selling out record breaking albums.

"Ohh..." they both gaped at the screen before shaking their heads. They looked at each other and laughed. "That's not such a good idea."

"I agree." Dylan seconded and so they had to call in Dorothy again.

"Have you ever been on a date before, Dorothy?" Zeirenne asked her.

"Oh yes. I've been on countless dates before, Miss Lin."

"Then... where are the usual hotspots for dates?"

All four of them listened in anticipation.

"Well, I usually go on first dates inside the mall. Since there are more commodities and there are more things to do. There are arcades--"

"Oh arcades! Nice!" Zeirenne exclaimed, poking Jin on his sides, "Let's bet on who wins more games."

Dorothy cleared her throat before continuing, "And of course, different restaurants--"

"Restaurants! Yeah. Mind treating me to lunch?" She elbowed Jin and he simply nodded.

Once again, Dorothy continued, "Well you can go to the movies too. Movies are usually the go to."

All four heads nodded, Assistant Colton was even writing down notes on a small notepad as if he's going to need them later on. Specially after being hurt by the two CEOs.

"Okay. Let's go now!" Zeirenne said, springing up from her seat with enthusiasm. If they didn't know her, they'd thing she was that excited for the date. But no. Only the arcade and food were consuming her mind in reality. They were well aware of this.

Once they reached the door, Zeirenne stopped, and Jin, who was following her closely, halted as well. She faced the other three with furrowed brows, "Aren't you all coming?"

Three of them had to facepalm themselves.

"Uhm... you're supposed to go with Mr. Young alone, Miss Lin." Dorothy said.

She looked at Jin who was massaging his temples, "Oh is that it? Then I guess it's just the two of us then."

They walked all the way down to the lobby with a surprise waiting around the corner. Just a few steps from the entrance, the five officials entered ZA International, holding their heads up like they owned the place.

"Oh. Miss Lin, Mister Young!" One of the officials waved at them.

"I want you to meet Mister Clarence and Miss Amelace. I'm sure you know them both," one of them said upon closing in.

Zeirenne and Jin looked at each other with the same thought in mind. They had no idea who those two were. But Zeirenne had to suffer from a crisis on her own, and Jin tapped her back to stop an outburst.

"Amelace..." the name echoed inside her mind, and she had to stifle her laughter.

"They are the two models for the summit," the officials introduced.

"Hi, Miss Lin. It's nice meeting you. I'm Clarence Smith, you can call me Renz," The actor said about to kiss her hand, but two opposing forces immediately restricted his intent. With Zeirenne's grip almost breaking his fingers, and Jin's stares numbing his knees.

"It's nice meeting you too, Mr. Smith," she said on gritted teeth.

The female artist Miss Amelace, had her eyes stuck on Jin right from the start. After tucking a few hairs behind her ears, she reached out her hands for a handshake.

"Hi Mister Young. Please call me Amy," she said in a squeezed voice.

Zeirenne leaned to whisper on Jin's ear, "You really should call her Amy or I'll die," she said before patting his back.

"That would be inappropriate Miss..." he said before taking Zeirenne's hand.

In that moment, she finally noticed Zeirenne. She surveyed her from head to toe and let out a curse inside her head, "Tsk. people with money sure knows how to spend a fortune just to fix their looks," she speculated, doubting such perfect proportions can even be possible.

"Please enjoy your time inside ZA International. We're heading out first," Zeirenne said with a bow, "Now if you'll excuse us, we still have to go on a date," leaving all of them tongue tied as she dragged Jin out—hand in hand.
