One In Two Hundred

  . . .

"I'm in."

Everyone inside the room had their jaws dropped from this answer--but not as much as Jin who even tilted his head--wondering if he heard things right. Well, he knew Zeirenne his entire life, but the shock kept him speechless, still.

"You can take your time on deciding, Miss Lin," A female doctor said. She looked younger than the rest, but there was a motherly fire in her eyes. "I know this decision can't be rushed even if the situation sounds urgent."

Silence filled the entire room as Zeirenne nodded her head while staring at the clock. "One... two... threee... I'm in." She turned her head to face the doctors. "Are three seconds enough? Even if we wait here for an entire day my decision won't change. I already told you... I'm in."
