Harmony with the energy

Harmony with the energy

"Son, what's this you are doing?" she asked. "mom am cultivating." he replied. "You are cultivating? Is there a cultivation method mentioned in the book I brought for you?" she asked.

"Not really. I discovered it today when I was running back from where I jogged to." he said. "Oh. That's good. That's your great luck." she said with a smile. Bai Chen smiled back and nodded his head. "Let me leave you to cultivate then. I don't want to disturb your cultivation." she said.

Just as she lifted her head as she was about to turn and leave his room, she saw how horrible his room was. There were so many marks everywhere on the walls of his room.

"Son. What's this? What did you do to your room?" she asked in shock. Bai Chen inhaled deeply, then he said, "I..... I... Um, I... I saw a wall gecko and it disgusted me. Before I could kill it, it ran into a crack in the wall. Since I don't know where it would be hiding, I tried making marks on the walls to force the gecko out. But to my surprise, I couldn't find it. It was like it had vanishing powers." he quickly fabricated a lie.

His mother looked at him with a gaze he couldn't understand. "I would call some people tomorrow to come put your room in order" she said and left the room, closing the door behind her.

Bai Chen now felt guilty. He wasn't behaving like how a normal kid should behave. He knew he had been acting weird these days and this would make his mom feel bad.

Then he looked at the room. He could only make out that the room was put in this shape because of the sliver of power of the way of the sword that erupted from the scroll. The scroll had been infused with that power by perhaps the original owner of the scroll. These were his speculations.

He then decided he would only cultivate at night to have time for his new family. Once he made this decision, he resumed his cultivation.

What is sword?

He continued to contemplate. Then he remembered his family in his previous life and his vow to protect his family and the nation at large from enemies. Then he recalled his other vow in this world to protect the people he loved and shoulder the safety of every race in this new world.

Then his eyes shone with understanding.

The instant he comprehended the basic way of the sword, his physical senses heightened and his perception of his surroundings changed. He could see a form of energy around him. It was silver-white in colour.

This energy that he could see now was invisible to others. He had successfully attuned his awareness to the energy of the way of the sword.

This energy that would be unseen by everyone except cultivators of the sword had always been present around him just like every other energy. It was ghostly, as it existed in an incorporeal state.

But when Bai Chen became aware of the energy. He could suddenly feel the characteristics of the energy. He could see it colour which was silver-white, he could hear keening sounds continuously emitting from it and he could feel the sharpness of this energy.

He was amazed but he quickly recovered from this state. Then he proceeded to the next step.

Using the energy evocation and gathering method, ribbons of silver-white energy abruptly gathered around him and began to flow into his body through his pores. he directed the ribbons of energy along his energy pathways to his energyhouse.

Slowly, the energy accumulated in his energyhouse and increased in quantity. This energy flowed into Alex's energyhouse for a long time before a boom rang within his body. No one else heard the blast sound.

This boom signified that he had broken through the invisible barrier between a mortal and a cultivator. He had now entered the initial phase of the flow activation stage. He was now a cultivator of the sword.

He continued to cultivate until the next morning. This was because he was enjoying the feeling it gave him, a peculiar sensation washed through his body, this sensation felt very divine.

All his pores were opened and began to breathe. He felt anew, like he had casted away his old body and had gained a new one. He felt he was going through purification.

When the rays of light from the sun flooded his room, his eyes snapped open.

The moment he pulled himself out of the special state he was in, he inhaled a pungent smell of rotten flesh. Bai Chen trembled, the smell was so powerful that it gave him the urge to vomit hardly.

He held his breath and looked at himself and he saw that he was coated in a dark black substance that produced a strong decaying smell.

Not able to withstand the smell, he rushed into the bathroom to have a great bath. After showering, Bai Chen felt really good. He had never felt this good before, even in his past life.

Then he remembered the abilities one would automatically gain when one became a cultivator,. Trying it out, he looked within himself and could see a large mass of silver-white energy gathered there, in his energyhouse.

He was ecstatic, now he was a cultivator. A cultivator of the sword. Although it was just little success. Nothing really special.

Then he brought out the scroll to go through the rest of the information recorded in it.

Just as cultivation of energy had it own general stages, this methodology had it own system of classification of power. The stages includes:

- Sword Amateur,

- Sword Adept,

- Heavenly Sword Adept,

- Sword Master,

- Sword Grandmaster,

- Sword Reverend,

- Sword Sage,

- Sword Monarch,

- Celestial Sword Adept,

- Profound Sword Overlord,

- Primeval Sword Adept,

- Grand Sword Sovereign

- Origin Sword Lord (Alpha Sword King)

Then each stage was further divided into:

- Elementary realm

- Advanced realm

- Principal realm

- Ascent realm

With each realm subdivided into:

- Minor Fulfillment stage

- Major Achievement stage

- Zenith Attainment stage

These stages had their own battle methods. Once he started practicing, he would be able to use the sword battle-methods listed in the scroll.

Why they had their own battle methods was because their profoundness increases from one stage to the next. He needed a certain level of comprehension of their mysteries to be able to produce the attack.

When he went through this, he then realized that he was in the Minor Fulfillment stage of the Elementary realm for the Sword Amateur stage and could start using it numerous techniques.

Then he read something that caused his mind to reel. This was because towards the end of the scroll, he saw another methodology. 'Invincible Eternal Body Transformation Methodology'

In this methodology, one needs tremendous amounts of energy to cultivate the energy needed to turn the body into an indestructible body.

It's a body cultivation methodology that can make the body extremely tough and resilient. By absorbing an energy from the world into the flesh, tissue, bone and organs and fusing them with it would make the body extremely durable, impervious to physical damages.

When he read through the methodology, he couldn't help but be shocked and awed. Then he thought back to that old man.

Was he really the author of the two methodologies? From what he could see about the old man, he didn't seem to. And if he was right that the old man wasn't, then who would be author and where would he be be? He looked at the scroll again and suddenly felt it had gone through the river of time, it really looked ancient.

Then he thought, Dead? That should not be possible!

He felt such an expert wouldn't die and should be able to live eternally. But this wasn't so. Although they were called gods and eternals and so on, it was only a cultivation stage to show the kind of power they would possess. But these people could live for a very, very long time (Like thousands of quintillions of years and vastly more).

He still didn't understand why that old man gave him such a scroll and of course, he wouldn't know something was involved in this. He also didn't know the world he was brought into was a world where evil reigned supreme. Fearsome experts fell like trees everyday and new ones emerged.

The world (mortal plane) he transmigrated into seemed slightly peaceful at the moment but this was because the embodiments of evil haven't directed their gazes to the mortal planes yet and one should be able to understand the reason why or perhaps there was also something involved in this too.

Then he recalled the body cultivation methodology, he believed the author of this methodology would be someone that would be able to withstand the tremendous blast even at the heart of an exploding giant star. Just like superman in comics in his previous world.

Superhuman durability was one of superman's formidable abilities in movies in his past life. So he could develop that kind of ability in here? "Just Awesome." he cried out in excitement. He was beginning to love this world. He was just too amazed and too happy.

Everything in fantasy movies in his world was possible here through cultivation. Then he suddenly shook. He trembled as he realized he was just a beginner of cultivation, he had just stepped onto the world of cultivation.

Then what about those that had been practicing cultivation for decades, centuries, millenia, eons of years ago? Those people would be extremely terrifying. He couldn't imagine the destruction they could unleash when they are angry or just feel like it. The devastation they could cause would be on a planetary scale.

If truly what was described in the scroll was true and not some work of fantasy or exaggerated, then those experts would be able to shatter worlds with their powers.

Huuuu!

He took a deep breath.

Now that he was twelve, those guys from the military academies would come again as they usually came every year to announce recruitment into the military academies.

Those guys over there would be powerful but he believed with time, he would grow to become extremely strong too. This methodology alone had given him great confidence. Just the techniques were vastly powerful and tyrannical and another reason for his confidence was because of the Origin Sword Lord realm (Alpha Sword King) mentioned in the scroll. He felt he was reading a method invented by a Absolute Primordial Infinite. But he has wrong. The author of the method was at the Totem God stage, but his comprehension of the way of the sword was at the Absolute Primordial Infinite realm. His comprehension was much more higher than his cultivation stage.

Bai Chen couldn't imagine the attack he would be able to unleash. Now he knew the value of the scroll, it was simply priceless. It was worth more than vessels the sizes of worlds filled to the brim with diamonds and gold. Even heads of academies might not have the kind of scroll he had with him.
