Evening

I woke up to the sounds of crickets hiding in the tall grass... it's already dark, I checked the time and it's already 7 pm. I took a deep breath and started to walk home.

I was a few meters away from my house when I saw someone by the gate, he was sitting while covering his face with his arms that is resting on his knees.

I approached the person and tapped his shoulder. He raised his head and looked at me...

My heart fluttered the moment our eyes met.

Minjun... I smiled at him sadly then he stood up and hugged me without delay.

I was obviously startled, but the happiness that I felt can't be denied. So I hugged him back.

DONGMIN: Minjun...

MINJUN: (still hugging me) I'm sorry Dongmin for running away this morning.

DONGMIN: hey don't be sorry... hmm (I broke out of the hug and looked at him) when did you come back? wait... let's go in first... have you eaten already?

MINJUN: I haven't eaten yet... a a a achoo!

DONGMIN: (I felt his forehead and found out he has a slight fever) you have a fever... ok ok... come inside.

We both went inside since it started to get colder

I let him sit in the living room while I opened some cup of noodles since we both haven't eaten yet.

I sat across him while waiting for the noodles to cook...

DONGMIN: when did you come back?

MINJUN: around 10 in the morning.

DONGMIN: WHAT?! you've been here all along???

MINJUN: when I came back, you weren't here. I went inside to see if you're still on your bed, but you weren't. I thought you left for Seoul. But your bags are still here... so I waited...

DONGMIN: but you waited outside? you should have waited for me here inside.

MINJUN: no, I don't want to impose this is not my house, I don't want you to think that...

DONGMIN: tsk... I understand, well, when you were waiting for me here, I came looking for you at the market.

MINJUN: you did?

DONGMIN: yes... and which brings me to the question, why didn't anyone know your name? I checked every store that has delivery but none of them knows your name. May I ask why?

Oh crap, I forgot I didn't tell him my real name... think Jiwoo... ahh ok

MINJUN: well, I was part-time working only. It was a shop near the sea.

DONGMIN: oh? so that means, it was the last shop, but the man didn't know you... neither does his boss.

MINJUN: my friend who works there had something to do that day so he asked me instead, he took your items in the shop and handed it to me. plus, didn't I said that I was a chef?

DONGMIN: hmmm I see, that explains why they don't know you. Ok.

We quietly ate dinner... I really don't know how to approach him concerning what happened last night.

I am pretty sure I did him yesterday... My butt didn't hurt so, it's either nothing happened or I...

I was so confused when I woke up this morning. I really didn't know what happened last night! it wasn't even blurry... the memory was wiped out.

So after waking up, the moment I saw him lying beside me on a bed fully naked... and my butt didn't hurt. The conclusion of me doing that to him was inevitable. So I hurriedly left and bought a pain reliever medicine for him.

I thought he left and I told myself if he won't is back before midnight, I'll just leave and forget everything. But there he is, still here... and I don't feel any animosity in him. Maybe he's ok with it?

I look at him, his head is lowered, and keeps playing with his fingers... hmmm why though, I should be the one feeling like that since I did it to him.

DONGMIN: uhmm will you excuse.me for a second Minjun? I'll be back in a bit.

MINJUN: yyeah... ok

He left, where is he going? ahhhh! I hate this feeling! the guilt is seeping through my bones! damn it. I hope he's fine though.

He came back with a small box, what is that for?

Then he sits back and starts to look down again... ahhh, shit... I can't take this anymore I grabbed his hand and looked at him.

I know he is startled. But I can't help it, I need to know what he feels so I handed the plastic that is in my hands... but to my surprise, he handed me the box too.

As I opened it, it is full of medicines... wait, what?

MINJUN: what is this for?

DONGMIN: what about this?? (raises the plastic bag I gave him)

MINJUN: I asked you first though...

DONGMIN: ok ok... it's medicine

DONGMIN: (looks inside the bag..then his eyes started to get big) seriously?! The fuck happened yesterday then?! why are we both naked! on my bed!

MINJUN: don't ask me! You woke up first... I passed out yesterday, I can't remember anything after we ate.

DONGMIN: what! me too.. hmmm... damn!

I looked around to see if there was anything that I can remember what happened last night... Perfect... CCTV

MINJUN: hey Dongmin, I see you have CCTV, is it working?
