Kyle and Albert [Part 02]

"Shut up you uneducated monkey. How dare you call me a crook? If I am a crook, someone uncouth and greedy might as you might well be a saint. As for the matter of my father knowing, don't you think that he might have already found out where we are given our week long absence from home?

If I am guessing correctly, he already knows where I am and what I am doing. His not doing anything is same as tacitly agreeing to what I am doing. Looks like he too was irked by that idiot Alfred's action of not paying his due when we asked nicely. Now he

And don't forget we are in this together. If you rat me out ill return the favour two fold. Not only ill expose that you were my accomplice but also your other dirty secrets to every one to see. Not only that, I might even fabricate other false charges, but all make sure that you will never be able to show your face in any social gatherings." Kyle threatened Albert.

"Shut your mouth first, you two faced little prik. Don't think for a second that pretty boy faced is fooling someone like me. Don't you think that, I don't know how you play around with those wives of minor nobles using you father's name. How you bully and use your maids of your manor as toys? Humph, and you dare to threaten me with my dirty laundry? Ridiculous." Albert spat on the ground.

"At lest I have my father's power to do whatever I want and get away with anything I do. You on the other hand are powerless in front of your elder brother. Didn't your father was going to announce your elder brother as the hair apparent of your house? Even in the end you will be nothing but your elder brother's b*tch. Always dancing to his tunes till the end of your sorry life." Kyle smiled sinisterly. "As for me? There is no one else other than me to inherit the family name. So what if am dual faced, as long as keep myself clean, I can do as I want, what I ant and how I want. My father will never question it."

"Humph," Albert harrumphed "so what if my elder brother is going to become the hair apparent. That has nothing to do with me. For all I care he can go and drink his own piss. And as for you, its better for you to keep that mouth shut. Or one day you might end up in some serious trouble, that even your father can't help you with."

"You are one to say that. But anyways, this is not the time to fight one another, at least when we have a common interest." Kyle commented.

"Yes, I agree. This is not place nor the time to fight with each other. At least when we have such riches at stake. I can't wait to see the expression on that b*astard Alfred's face when he gives us the money that he originally refused." Albert said as greed flashed in his eyes.

"Just a few more days. I reckon he might have already guessed that something had gone wrong with the convoy and his friends. After all, enough time has passed after we have taken hostages. Tomorrow Ill be sending some of my men to demand ransom to the Everwinter fortress. I am sure he will be nothing but helpless and pay the ransom that we demand." Kyle explained.

"Good. Make sure to demand a hefty sum for all the troubles we have gone to set up everything. If possible, aside from money demand few beauties too. I have had my eyes on that pink haired maid of Autarch family for quite some time." Albert said with a perverted smile on his face.

"Hay, try to control yourself will you. What are you? A dog in heat? Do you think this is a time for thinking about beauties? Stop acting like a stupid mongrel." Kyle said in distain.

"You first stop acting like you are some kind of saint. We are both the same inside. The only difference is I don't care putting a façade while you do. As for the matter of ransom, its not like you won't skimp off a little from the top. So why not demand more? Think of this as teaching that idiot Alfred a lesson for his previous arrogance. Who told him to refuse our good will previously when we were asking money in cordial manner? Let him reap what he had shown previously. Hump." Albert expressed his contempt.

"I'll tell my subordinates try to negotiate as high as ransom possible. Don't forget, we still need to leave enough, so that he could defend the fort for the rest of the winter. We don't what him to fail so that the beasts might breakthrough the Everwinter fortress. We want the Autarch family to be weak not dead. At least not now when they have still some meat left on them." Kyle cautioned.

"That's up to you to figure out. Just make sure to get what we want as soon as possible. I don't want to spend more time in this freezing hell hole. I figure, my little dolls would be missing me back in the mansion." Albert said pushing all the responsibilities to Kyle.

Just as the conversation between two was dying down. A bandit came running towards the camp fire where the two were sitting.

"Young master, young master. There is urgent news, young master." The bandit stopped near the two and saluted first.

"Yong master, there is some urgent news that you need to listen." The bandit said.

"I heard what you said previously, idiot. Tell me what is the matter." Kyle asked in Impatience.

"It's like this young master, we have discovered a small group of men, probably serfs, setting camp near our location. Young master, what should we do?" The bandit asked.

"A group of serfs setting camp this deep in the forest? Young master Kyle, what do you think?" Albert asked.

"Humm. My best guess is that this group is sent by that wretched Alfred to look for us. Can you tell me more about the group of serfs?" Kyle inquired.

"Amm. Young master, we don't have much information on the serfs currently. As far as I know a petrol detected them some time ago and directly reported to me. Thinking this might me be something important, I ran to inform you first, young master." The bandit replied.

"You idiot, how can not find some information about the group of serfs before reporting to me? Is all your brain died or something? Oh, radiant god, why am I surrounded with such numbskulls and idiots all around me." Kyle complained.

"Young master, its not our fault. It's just that…"

"You shut up first." Kyle cut off the bandit. "I have no interest in listening to your fake explanations. Just tell me their numbers and if they are armed?"

"Young master, the petrol did not count there accurate numbers but by their estimates there is no less than sixty serfs of them in the camp. They are lightly armed with sickles and hoes. And as far as we know, they are not wearing any kind of armor, not even leather ones." The bandit goon replied honestly.

"Looks like Alfred is trying to find our hideout." Kyle suddenly commented.

"What do you mean by that? Did Alfred found out that we are hiding the forest of twilight? But that's not possible. I don't think that idiot is not smart enough to think such a thing. Do you think its that Nathen behind those serfs? But why did he send only sixty serfs to look for us in such a big forest as forest of twilight? What is Alfred thinking?" Albert asked.

"What that idiot wants to do is beyond me. As far as I know, he had sent only sixty men to track us down for now. It looks like he does not know our correct position yet." Kyle replied.

"Then what do you think we should do? Leave them alone? I don't think that's a good idea." Albert commented.

"No, we certainly could not leave them alone." Kyle shook his head in denial. "For all I think, its better for us take the incitive and attack. Not only we should attack. We should use this opportunity as a warning. After killing those sixty or so serfs, there heads should serve as pretty good warning for Alfred, and should be enough to unnerve him to extreme."

"Hahaha," Albert laughed sinisterly. "Not only sending the heads will unnerve him, but also be a good way to demand more ransom out of that stinky brat. Looks like it more and more possible to get my hands on that maid of him. I don't know how she will fare in my bed." Albert said licking his lips.

Kyle on the other hand ignored what Albert said. He thought for a moment and turned towards the Goon.

"You, listen my orders, take a hundred men with you and surround the camp from a distance. After you get into position, wait for my orders to attack. And one more thing, attack together from all sides. Make sure no one escapes."

"Yes, young master." Bandit saluted again and left.

"Good plan. Kill everyone in one fell swoop. But what about us? What are we going to do?" Albert asked.

"Idiot, we will stay in the rear and move in when its time to land the final kill. As for why, I don't want to walk into a trap. Although there is not much possibility, I don't want to risk my safety against such low level serfs."
