The dungeon boss has three modes depending on how much health it has, the First mode is 100-50%, During this mode, the dungeon boss will have the same moves as that of its parent species. The second mode is from 50-25%, the attack pattern of the boss changes, and the attack damage normally increases by 25-50%. In the third and the final mode, the boss becomes enraged, and its attack doubles to its original value, depending on the type of boss, it could increase either its speed or further increase its damage but is more susceptible to genjutsu...]

'Alright, no saving points, I need more speed to handle dungeon bosses because the moment he get's a hit in I am pretty much done for...' So I open my stats window and dump the remaining points into DEX. 'So I'll get an increased speed boost and increased accuracy with my weapons.' I run around a little while reading the notification of the upgraded Speed II skill.

'So where is the dungeon boss, Zoey!'

I sprint towards the center, as I was approaching the center, I ran into many groups of Mama bear and bear cubs. After fighting some of them with the intention of farming exp, I realize that as I am getting closer to the center, the level of Mama bears is increasing and the cubs look increasingly bigger.

I activate sneak to get as close to the boss as possible. The boss was a polar bear which was around the width of a truck and the height of a two-story house. As soon as I was within 10 m from him his eyes locked with mine and a few seconds of blinking later he roared and dashed towards me on all fours.

I did the same move I used when I fought Iruka-sensei 2 days ago and with a little hop and repositioning of my body, I move sideways to avoid the hammer blow. 'What is up with that huge amount of health...30,000...'

Even though the boss changed mode's, its legs remained broken and after 20 blasts of magnetic chakra into its leg nerves it just lay on the ground as I pepper it with shuriken.'

Due to the huge amount of health, it took me 15 minutes of continuous peppering it with normal shuriken over and over again to finally take it down…

'A stack of Ryo, 2x claws, 1x bear hide and a scroll...' I collected everything and put it in my inventory. 'Okay Zoey, how do I get out of here?'

'Well, that certainly was easier than I imagined, there were few minor scares but magnet release is freaking awesome. I could just stand aside and my weapons fight for myself. Although the CP costs are a little high, they should be manageable in the upcoming days...My stats are imbalanced now though...whoops'

The scenery around me blinked and I found myself surrounded by familiar trees. The snow was replaced by grass and the silent atmosphere was replaced by the sound of crickets. I look at the position of the sun, 'I have some time but, I guess I'll take a break...'

Lightly Jogging I made my way back from the forest and went around the market a little. 'This feels like home, everyone interacting with each other with smiles on their faces, children running around chasing their parents or older siblings...the smell of Barbecue and Dango emanating from the restaurants, with the sound of laughter and...okay you don't need to cuss they are just children, yes they can be mean but...is that...'

Like a sea parting to allow a ship to travel, the crowd of people was rushing out of the way of an 8-year old boy with bright spicy yellow hair, black tee, and white shorts.

'Yeah there is definitely something wrong here...need to ask mom'

I ignore the market stalls and went straight home, my good mood ruined by the conflicting atmosphere…
