Feel at home

While they were eating she noticed that Tyler was wearing formal attire. Oh, he has work today? Their work will resume tomorrow. Well, he is the CEO and he has also been working on his new project which was Hossler's hotel so he is busy.

Tyler finished his breakfast. He stood up and fixed his sleeves. "I have meetings today. I'll be home late. Feel free to use the kitchen and feel at home." He said before he turned around to get his bag and his coat. Lanie also stood up even if she still didn't finish eating. She saw Tyler wearing his coat then went in front of the whole body mirror in the living room to put on his necktie. He got his bag and took a look at himself one more time when Lanie approached him. He looked at her from the mirror then faced her when she stopped beside him.

"Y-your...your necktie," she said. Before he looked at his necktie, Lanie already reached for it and fixed her necktie carefully. He was stunned at her moves. He remained staring at her face as she seriously fixed his necktie, she even patted his coat to make sure it was also good. When she looked at him, he looked away and stepped back. He felt hot all of a sudden. He cleared his throat and started walking towards the door.

"Stay here. I will know if you leave the unit." He said seriously before he left.

Lanie finished her breakfast as soon as Tyler left. She cleaned the kitchen. After that, she decided to take a bath. She enjoyed her time taking shower that she spent almost one an hour in. She wore her comfortable clothes which were an oversized t-shirt and her cotton shorts. She spent her day watching movies and talking to her friends through social media. At lunch she only ate noodles because she was too lazy to cook her meal. At three o'clock in the afternoon, she decided to clean the unit. She swept the floor in the living room and she also mopped it. She also wiped the windows, the tops of the table and cabinets. Tyler's unit was not that dirty, maybe because he had a maid to clean the whole unit or he cleaned this by himself. After she was done cleaning, she rested. She thought of buying snacks because she suddenly craved burgers since she just ate noodles as her lunch. There's a nearby food store selling burgers outside. She stood up and got her wallet and phone. She did not bother to change her clothes because the store was just nearby. She locked the door and proceeded to the elevator. There was no one in the elevator except her and the two employees. They looked at her and slightly bowed. Lanie smiled at them. When she went out, there were few people in the lobby. She casually walked, ignoring people that were staring at her. They need to be used to seeing her now.

Lanie went to the store and bought two orders of a big mac burger and it has a free coke! She went back to the unit casually again. She ate her burgers while watching a movie. She wanted to spend her time relaxing before she went back to work tomorrow. 

At seven o'clock in the evening, Tyler arrived at the unit. He was walking while holding her coat and bag on his left hand while his right hand loosen his necktie. His brow furrowed when he saw the television on and the volume was quite loud. While he was walking, he also saw a paper bag with a logo of a burger store outside. He stopped walking when he saw Lanie sleeping on the sofa, in her hand was her half eaten burger. Tyler laughed in disbelief. Lanie just fell asleep while watching a movie and while eating. He shook his head and got the remote to turn down the volume of the television. He put down his bag and coat at the table. He went to Lanie and got the burger in her hand. He held her head while he tried to lay her down comfortably on the sofa. Then, he went to his room to get her blanket. 

After that, Tyler quickly took shower and started cooking their dinner. While waiting for his dish to cook, he got his ipad and checked the CCTV videos. Yes, his house has small CCTVs. It was noticeable because it was like ordinary lights in his ceilings. A small smile appeared on Tyler's lips as he watched attentively the videos of Lanie eating after he left, cleaning the unit and how she spent her afternoon. He shook his head before turning off his ipad and checked his dish, a small smile didn't leave his lips.

"She really listened to me huh? Feel this home also her home…"
