After the Gerpacio’s case was solved and due to Lanie’s wish, everything turned back into the right places. Lanie forgot everything that was connected to that massacre and also the people she met during those times. And vice versa.

The Only Witness

"Tyler didn't look for you? I mean, did he know that you were not going home yesterday?" Alvarez asked while driving. Lanie was fixing some food they bought for the kids.

She closed the car's compartment before facing him who was leaning on the car. Lanie shrugged. "I don't know.  We're just living together but we didn't mind each other's business," she said.

"Really? Knowing Tyler, aside from being merciless in the business world, I heard that he is also a beast in bed." Lanie's eyes widened. Her face turned red and she felt hot not because of the sun but because she suddenly remembered what happened to them when they watched that Disney movie!

"Since when did you have an interest in his sex life?" Alvarez coughed at what she answered. Lanie acted normal even though she was getting awkward.

"I just only heard that! Nevermind!" He said and got inside the car.
