The Only Witness

"Fuck!" Tyler cursed when the floor shook, too. The walls inside the room started to crack. What's more amazing was that, that was only happening inside the room. Outside, it was normal.

Tyler ran to Lanie to stop her but when he was about to hold her, Lanie grabbed his arms and twisted it. Tyler groaned in pain. Lanie was so strong not because she was using too much power but because of her anger that was lacing upon her power.

Tyler held her hand that was on his shoulder as he turned around and pushed Lanie on the wall.

"Lanie! Get out of there!" He shouted while trying to stop her from flying into rage. But it wasn't easy at all because Tyler nearly threw into the wall if he didn't use his weight to lessen the impact of Lanie's kick to his stomach.
