The Only Witness

Tyler smirked at Lanie before he nodded his head. Lanie was so easy to read. Just by looking at her expressions, you can tell what she was thinking. Tyler didn't comment on her answer, he just got the contract on the table and looked at it. It already has his signature and Lanie's.

"This is the original copy." He said. He gave the contract to Levi Tuan and instructed him to photocopy it. "You can have it." Levi Tuan gave the original copy to Lanie then he put the photocopy one to his folder.

Then, Tyler stood up and fixed his white polo shirt. "Have you eaten? It's already lunch time." he said after he looked at his watch. Kieffer and Levi Tuan looked at each other and both nodded at each other. They were thinking the same idea. Kieffer stood up as he faked a cough.
