The Only Witness

Lanie softly shook her head at him and sighed. "No. It's just… I don't want him to get the wrong idea." she said honestly. Kevin knew that Lanie didn't like someone entering her room except if she let that person in but the room wasn't owned by Lanie, it was Tyler's room. What do you think Kevin would feel and think if she said that she is in Tyler's room? She knew Kevin would understand but she was just uncomfortable about it.

"What wrong idea?" Tyler asked after he hung the tower on the back at his seat and moved to the bed. He got the glass of milk and gave it to her.

"He didn't know that I was in your room. YOUR room and not mine." she said. Tyler gave her a small nod. He got what she was trying to say.
