The Only Witness

"She's not coming back, right?" Tyler asked while looking far outside the window. He was in the Queen's bedroom because he was monitoring his mother's health.

"We don't know, son." The Queen answered as she let out a sigh. It's been 5 months since the chaos ended and Lanie disappeared. Since then, Tyler became more silent and rarely smiled or laughed.

The gate between Regnum and the Normal world was destroyed by Azura as per their order before. Even though Tyler can make a dimension to cross to the other world, he couldn't bring himself to do it. He is scared. He respected Lanie's decision.

For the past 5 months, Tyler was the one who's handling the Regnum. Even though the Queen was safe and alive, she was still having a relapse because of the great damage that she received from the fight.
