Nostalgia from the past

I just got right in front of the school gate when the guard said that our classes for today are cancelled because of the immediate meeting of our professors. I just rolled my eyes in the air it's a waste of time, energy and money. Well, I can't do anything about it. 


While I'm on my way home I suddenly remembered that I need to buy foods and stuff for my house so I need to go to the market to buy some. 


I take a bus to go to the market and while I'm at the bus I'd like to wear my earphones and listen to music so that's what I did. 


Few hours after, I just arrived at the market. I immediately go where the hotdogs, chicken noodles is located. I'm busy getting what I need for house while my earphones on then suddenly I got hit by the person behind me. I'm ready to complain but before I can complain I realized who just hit me behind. 


Everyone around me seemed to be in slow motion and he was the only one I could see. 


I ended that hug because it was so embarrassing. I don't know what I will say to him. He just smile at me after that hug so I smiled back.


"Hi, what are you doing here?" He asked. 


"Hello! I'm just you know---" I stuttered in response. 


I don't know why there's a sudden butterflies inside my stomach. 


"How about you? What are you doing here?" I asked. 


"I need to cook some italian foods for my mom that's why I need to buy some ingredients" He answered. 


"Oh, that's nice. You know how to cook?" I replied as I walk towards the noodle area. 


"Yeah. I know how to cook since I'm 17 years old up until now." He said while walking beside me. 


I don't know but I feel happy seeing him today. 


I just got home when I received a text message from him.


"Hi! Can you come here in my house? I told my mom about you and she wants to see you" He texted me. 


I honestly don't know what are the right words to reply to him. I'm shocked. 


"Hi! Are you still there? Do you have a load?" He texted me again. 


I did not realize that I did not reply to him. 


"Yeah, I'm sorry I took a shower" I replied. 


"It's okay. So can you come here? I'll pick you up don't worry" He answered.


I'm shocked. It seems like there is a lightning bolt that struck me. I can feel the butterflies inside my stomach again as I read what he texted. 


"Uhm, are you sure you're going to pick me up? My house is too far for you to travel" I replied. 


"Yeah, I don't mind picking you up as long as you're coming with me" He said. 


Again... I can feel the butterflies inside my stomach having a party. 


"Sure! I'll prepare now. Bye." I said back to him. 


I'm so excited to see him again. So I'll look for something casual that I can wear. 


"Okay, great! I'll go now to pick you up. Take care and see you in a bit. Mwah" He replied.


Hours passed and I'm ready to go, I'm just waiting for him. I'm wearing my casual white polo shirt with design of feathers and jeans and I pair it with shoes.
