Suna's Dissenters and Anko's Request

The mood was nice between Shiki and the Suna genin after Temari further introduced Shiki. She was quite popular in the village among the genin so her word was actually very helpful when it came to building a good relationship with his Suna peers.

Alas, not everyone was quite so impressed . . .

"Tch, making friends with the enemy!"

"You're right onee-sama! Disgraceful!"

These two people, complimented by their other comrade who was quiet but glaring drew everyone's attention.

The one who spoke first and seemed to be their leader was named Saya. A a gothic lolita style beauty, complete with her light blue hair in two ponytails with bangs framing on both cheeks and wearing a red and purple kimono with her hem shredded, a light grey corset, a pair of separate, furisode-like sleeves in the same colour.

She also had a Suna forehead protector backwards using it as a ribbon tied at the middle in a bow, pointing straight up. Her fingernails were polished in black but her most striking feature, however, was the red makeup she had around her yellow-pupiled eyes with light violet lipstick.

The one who agreed with her, Sana, had long, light violet hair, tied up in a braid with two green hair-bands, and grey eyes. She wore a lime green and blue kimono with a brown corset and fishnet pants with two wristbands and bandages wrapped around her legs. Her forehead protector was attached on the right sleeve of her outfit.

Lastly, their male companion had short spiky black hair and wide-open eyes with noticeable veins. He also wore a blue Suna forehead protector in a bandana-style around his mouth with an orange poncho around his neck, green midriff suspenders, and brown pants with long arm warmers and bandages around his arms.

The other Suna genin didn't know what to say but Shiki sure did.

"Wow! One call smell the hypocrisy from miles away! Not to mention the stupidity"

"Huh?" Saya questioned aggressively.

"You do know Suna struck first right? Against a village who they were allied with no less. Not only that, but your leader is dead, your best jonin and most of the others are prisoners and Suna's trump card Gaara is sealed and can't use his power. If Konoha wanted to, we could trample all over this village and wipe it of the map! Don't mistake my politeness for weakness little girl." Shik declared.

Not only the three aggressive genin, even the others were surprised by Shiki's words but the worst part was that everything he said was true. But a few Suna shinobi in the background were very unhappy with his words.

"What was that brat!? You better be careful with your mouth! You're in our territory now!" Disposable idiot 1 exclaimed.

"That's right for a brat like you, we can make you disappear real quick!" Disposable idiot 2 followed up while disposable idiot 3 kept his mouth shut but carried a smug look of support.

'Did this become a cultivation world, why are all the arrogant idiots who don't know their place crawling out of holes!?' Shiki though with an exasperated face.

Even the three genin who were against him before thought he had a point and at the very least, now was not the time to antagonise Konoha but then these two seniors of them seemed to take it very differently.

"Hahahaha!" Shiki laughed, after being exasperated, he actually started to find the whole situation funny. Here were three chunin threatening a beyond kage level shinobi, it was hilarious.

"What are you laughing about brat!?" The disposable idiot 3 asked angrily.

"Your existence?" 'Mic drop boom!'

"That's it brat! You're gonna pay!" The three got ready to attack, Temari tried to stop them not because she was worried for Shiki but because she new they had no chance and this would only harm the already unstable relations between the two villages but her goodwill was ignored and instantly, the three disposable idiots were caught in Adamantine Sealing Chains.

All but Temari were dumbfounded by how easy it was for Shiki to deal with the situation but then she explained how he captured her whole team including their sensei, one of the best Suna jonin in about ten seconds which amazed all the genin.

Shiki on the other hand was making the offenders' bones start to crack with how much squeezing pressure the chains were putting on them while he ignored their screams, sealing their mouths with fuinjutsu through the chains.

This spectacle was making all the genin somewhat scared with Temari asking Shiki to let them go but Saya seemed to be making sparkly eyes at Shiki while thinking.

'Wow! He's so cool! He was called Shiki-sama right? So dreamy . . . I hope I didn't make too bad of an impression with my first words . . .' Clearly, her opinion of Shiki made a drastic 180. Truth be told, she was a sadist who thought herself as the strongest and seeing such a powerful and merciless Shiki who inflicted suffering upon his foes made her all hot and bothered.

"Fine, fine! I'll let them go . . ." Shiki started making everyone relieved and Saya disappointed. "Right after this!" He added as he used the Adamantine Curse Chains..

"Now, for the rest of your life, you three will never be able to use chakra again so that you can no longer disgrace the shinobi profession." Shiki said calmly.

Everyone sucked a cold breath that the person in front of them could do such a thing so easily right in front of them while Saya was crushing on him more and more. Shiki then said his goodbyes since they needed to calm down a bit by themselves after the tense situation and left

"I don't know if Shiki-san is scary or nice." Yome said.

"Definitely both, i think." Sen declared with everyone else nodding.

Shiki then teleported back to Konoha in a white flash. Anko had told one of his clones she wanted to talk face to face with the original about something important so he was going to see her now.

"So Anko-nee. What's this about?" SHiki asked to a serious looking Anko.

"Are you doing something under the radar?" Anko asked.

"And what do you mean by that exactly?" Shiki countered not really knowing where Anko was going with the conversation, he had a lot going on under the radar so he had no idea what she was referring to exactly.

"I mean . . . Are you doing something unrelated to the village? I know you have something going on!" Anko said.

'Hmm . . . She figured out I have something going on out of the village's management . . . Well, Anko-nee is one of the people in the village that knows me best since I helped with her Curse Mark and she got a close look at my power and way of operating but it's actually quite surprising she figured it out considering that with soul clones it's nearly impossible to tell if I'm actually around or not.'

Shiki pondered over Anko's words while formulating a response.

'Is she worried I'm doing something that will harm the village? She's quite loyal to Konoha after all. Despite having tremendous respect and admiration for Orochimaru she actually chose the village instead of him . . . Is she trying to figure out if I'll go traitor?'

"What if do?" Shiki calmly asked, not a shred of emotion in his face. Anko started getting worried.

'Shiki is the type of guy that's always cool and keeps a breezy attitude even in tough situations . . . That face he's doing now . . . It's honestly scaring me . . . Maybe I shouldn't have come to him with this . . . What should I do now?' The more she though, the more worried Anko got.

'Damn it! I came this far, just man up and do it Anko!' Finally finding her resolve, Anko spoke again.

"I-I-I . . ." She was still having technical difficulties.

"I?" Shiki repeated in an inquisitive tone with a raised eyebrow relieving some of the tension in the situation and getting Anko to finally say what she wanted to.

"I want to join you!" She practically shouted.

"Eh?" Shiki's thoughts froze.

"Eh?" Anko questioned back.

'I have a feeling I misunderstood something . . .' Shiki thought.

'I think he misunderstood something . . .' Anko thought.

'She definitely thinks I'm doing something of a questionable nature outside of the village's influence and without approval so I thought she wanted to convince me to stop or confirm if I was and ratt me out . . . But she actually wanted to join!? I thought she had a bothersome sense of justice! Where did that go?' Shiki pondered.

'Did he think I was against him and whatever he's doing!? It sure seems like that's the case! IDIOT! Do you think i'd still be against you after all you've done for me and how much you've cared!? Although it's stupid, I can no longer imagine a life without you and even though I'm not prepared to say that to your face . . . I still want to help you in all your endeavours . . .'
