With his prisoners, properly restrained, Shiki moved to interrogation.

"Now then! All three of you will tell me your identities, missions, motives and anything else you consider I might find useful! Start from left to right please!" Shiki said with a bright smile.

Needless to say, the audience wondered what kind of interrogation tactic this could possibly be. As for the first in line, Roga Nadare, he was even less impressed.

"Hmph! Do you think we'll tell anything to a brat like you?" He said looking down on Shiki as if the boy was stupid but Shilki merely laughed.

"Hahaha! I don't think you will . . . I know for a fact that you will. slight difference." Shiki said as his smile became more malevolent.

The three prisoners were already feeling scared, terrified even, they were feeling an existential dread, as if the reaper itself was staring them down and it only got worse when the saw the change in their captor's eyes.

'Mangekyo Sharingan: Yominohana'

One of Shiki's mangekyo jutsu, based on his left eye's ability to to transport things from Yomi to the material plane. This was not limited to physical objects but also energies, and phenomena. Yominohana or Flower of the Underworld, drew upon the power of the Blood Red Spider Lilies in Yomi which possessed powerful illusionary properties that allowed Shiki to cast peerless genjutsu.

The jutsu could be used in two ways, either draw upon the flowers' power to cast a visual genjutsu or sommor the flowers themselves to cast an even more powerful wide area genjutsu whose range was based on how many flowers he brought and their distribution.

And so, despite all of the previous tough talk, Nadare along with his teammates started spilling out everything they knew. A lot of the info was not shown in the movie apparently since they had a lot of things to say, Shiki had no recollection of but since they were under an unbreakable genjutsu, at least for them, they were incapable of lying so all the information was valid for sure.

'Hmm . . . It seems that their Chakra Armor has some limitations since despite its touted genjutsu immunity, I still managed to put them under one.' Shiki thought.

Team 7, Koyuki and Sandayu were stupefied when important secrets started spilling out of the Yukigakure-nin's mouths as they thought in tandem 'That works!?', meanwhile the film crew had been asked to go back into the ship so as to prevent them listening in on sensitive information.

As it turned out, it wasn't as simple as Kazahana Doto hiring Yukigakure to help him successfully stage his coup like it was mentioned in passing by the movie, there were more politics involved the the sequence of events.

The previous Daimyo of the Land of Snow and Koyuki's father, Kazahana Sosetsu was a kind man who wanted the best for his country and was loved by most of its people for it. Unfortunately, a lot of his decisions left behind problems that culminated in the coup of which Doto's greed and ambitions were only part of it.

Sosetsu dreamed of bringing spring to his country and was developing a project to do so, this was the secret Doto was seeking, Shiki only new what the project was for thanks to the movie and the trio serving Doto did not know what it was and despite it being one of greatest obsessions, that information was also unknown to the man himself.

Investing on this project was what started the chain reaction that led to the tragedy of ten years ago. Doto was already a greedy man, hungry for power and wealth and hearing his brother had a top secret project going on, he was immediately interested but not getting any information from Sosetsu after asking and being kept out of the loop was the main reason he finally decided to act.

While Doto had considered overthrowing his brother before, this was undoubtedly what tipped the scale and finally made him act, the timing couldn't be better either. Sosetsu's project, the Heat Generator that would turn the Land of Snow into the Land of Spring drained the country's resources and wealth to the point of bankruptcy and this resulted in something else too.

Yukigakure, the source of most of the country's war potential, was naturally not very pleased with the passive Daimyo, despite this, they still managed to get missions here and there and received enough funding to maintain their functionality. This however changed greatly after Sosotsu started to become invested in the building of the Heat generator since their funding received a great cut.

This made the hidden village struggle and caused all its villagers to hate the Daimyo for taking away their livelihood, specially the higher up. But then, Doto appeared with a proposal to good to ignore. yukigakure would become a part of his forces and in return, not only would he restore their funding and even increase it, he would also strengthen the village with the country's technology.

Of course, this all hinged on the fact that Yukigakure followed his orders without question and maintained their loyalty to him and him alone. Part of the agreement was no longer performing missions at the request of the citizens of the Land of Snow, thus making the village pretty much dependant of Doto himself and granting him full control.

Although less than ideal for the higher ups of Yukigakure, the previous actions of Sosetsu had driven them into a corner and so, this became their only path for survival and since Doto could not do much without their military power, they could be assured they wouldn't be ridden off after the deed was done, at least not for a while.

Most of Yukigakure's villagers saw Doto as some kind of hero who had saved them from certain collapse but while that was true, the more intelligent members knew that he now held too much power over them and that was also not good for the village. This is where the information of the three Yukigakure shinobi started diverging.

Nadare was a die hard supporter of Doto from his management of his hidden village to his policies in regards to the Land of Snow, Mizore was on the fence before starting the job as a full time henchman of Doto's during which he was hooked by the pre-access to some the the best technology the country had to offer, Fubuki on the other hand, was the exception.

She had been sent of the mission of serving Doto with the secret duty of monitoring him so as to prevent him from turning on Yukigakure. If she could, she was also to garner favor with him by any means necessary and attempt to gain influence over his actions but she had failed in this part of her duty. Clearly there was a rift in Yukigakure in regards to Doto and Shiki thought this could be used.

While he worked on Koyuki as himself, the Reaper could pay a visit to the Yukigakure higher ups and offer them a deal they can't refuse thus giving him a much tighter hold over the country and expanding his web of contacts and military strength even further. Eventually, he might even use his Soul Transmutation Jutsu to grant some people of choice the Ice Style kekkei genkai too.

This would indeed be a deadly temptation for these shinobi who could only use the ice in the environment to attack until now. Needless to say, those who would receive this gift would have to be shinobi fully loyal to Shiki and him alone.

Still, the gift itself was more than enough to make someone thirsty for power to worship him as a god since it's simply not something that should be possible. Since it seemed that Fubuki was quite trusted by the higher ups of Yukigakure, she might make a good first subject. Considering her pride on her strength and skill, this kind of gift is what she would appreciate the most . . .

She was hot too! Which was probably Shiki's main reason for choosing her.

Still, Sandayu and Koyuki were very surprised. Up until this point, they had only known their side of the story but hearing the problems Yukigakure faced because of Sosetsu's actions was eye opening. They still hated and despised Doto but now they could see that there were other factors that led to the greatest tragedy of their lives.

Shiki undid his genjutsu and the trio were utterly dumbfounded. Their amour was not broken yet they got oh so very easily caught in a genjutsu and revealed all sorts of sensitive information. Knowing Fubuki's orders and mission that was a secret they were not privy to was also a great shock to the other two but Shiki then spoke to them but also to those behind like Koyuki.

"In light of this newly obtained information, I've decided to slightly alter my plans. While at first I was planning on crushing every single military force in the Land of Snow, I now have, other ideas."
