Fubuki's Transformation

"Alright little girl . . . Let's talk shall we."

Fubuki was trembling in place at the terrifying aura of the two figures. One which emitted a cold freezing aura and the other seemed to be covered in pure terror made physical, provoking an existential dread in the poor kunoichi.

'This is going nicely. First we show her our overwhelming power and then make her the sweet sweet offer.' Reaper Shiki deviously planned.

Setting up the Soul Contract Tag just to be sure Shiki began his sales pitch.

"Fubuki, yes?"

"Y-Y-Yes s-sir!" She answered, trembling.

"What do you think about becoming part of my organization and act as a liaison between us and Yukigakure." This immediately shocked the kunoichi but Reaper Shiki just continued.

"There are a lot of things we can do towards your village's prosperity and i'm sure Yukigakure won't refuse my deal regardless of your decision. . . But, if you are not satisfied with your current self, you can become mine. Do that and I'll give you power beyond your wildest dreams . . . So long as you're loyal, that is . . ."

Fubuki was getting confused. It was a deadly temptation but she was loyal to her village and proud to be a part of it, it was due to that that she was entrusted with the secret mission to observe Kazahana Doto. She didn't want to turn traitor . . . But if the village ended up benefiting from it . . .

To the already tempted Fubuki, Reaper Shiki threw some more bait.

"My friend over here, is a possessor of the Ice Style kekkei genkai . . . Not only does she not require any pre-existing ice for her jutsu, they are also far stronger and more useful than yours. To the point even Ice Style spacetime ninjutsu is possible . . . I can give you that power too . . ." He whispered the last part in Fubiki's ear with a bit of charming genjutsu and extending his hand symbolically.

It was a subtle sound based genjutsu Shiki created and named Demonic Illusion: Devil's Whisper. It influenced the target's emotions rather than thoughts and made then perceived the same things as reality but with a different outlook. It could be used in an overpowering manner, sending people into panic attacks or controlling them forcefully but it could also be used for subtle influencing.

'Wow! The villainous Shiki-san that tricks people into selling their very souls is so cool!' Thought Haku by the side.

Clearly she had been spending a little bit too much time with Guren and Chino and it was starting to corrupt her formerly gentle and pacific mindset.

Yes, Haku could be ruthless if she had to but only as a last resort and mostly against criminal and such, otherwise Naruto and Sasuke of the original series would've 100% die but now she even though of Shiki's despicable conduct as cool . . .

Needless to say, to a woman whose massive pride rested on her ability, Shiki's offer was too good to refuse. He village would still benefit and if she became a part of his group, she might even be able to win over more benefits for yukigakure or at least that's what Fubuki told herself as she took the hand extended to her, accepting her new position.

"Well done and welcome to Mugetsu!" Shiki congratulated her and patted her head, embarrassing the Kunoichi due to being treated like a child . . . and enjoying it.

He still had enough time to return to the fortress and give Fubuki the full Mugetsu package before things went down in the Land of Snow, so he did just that.

After enduring the judging gazes of Guren and Chino whom were none too happy to see him bring yet another beauty into the fold, Ank also felt a little peeved, specially since shiki hadn't gone as far with her as he did with the other three girls, which slightly worried her.

Greeting Karin who was always happy to see him and Zabuza who was actually not on mission, Shiki then brought Fubuki to a special area where he first implanted a Stone of Gelel on her heart.

The immediate effects were astonishing to her, her vitality was greatly higher, resulting in accelerating healing and a significantly slowed aging process which would please anyone. The enhancing effects on jutsu from the combination of gelel energy with chakra was also a great bonus for the Yukigakure kunoichi.

Just this procedure already made her glad to have made the choice to come with the mysterious figure and once she finally figured out that said figure and the boy who caught her, were in fact the very same individual, not only was she stupefied but she also didn't really know what to feel.

Using his Physique Manipulation Jutsu, Shiki morphed into an adult form when acting as the Reaper which Fubuki had seen. She along with the other female members of Mugetsu were massively physically attracted to that version of Shiki. It was apart of the reason Anko became a lot more thirsty than she used to be and generated the complicated feelings of Fubuki.

But leaving such matters aside, it was time for Shiki to do the most complicated part of the benefits he had promised the Yukigakure kunoichi, to grant her the Ice Style kekkei genkai.

This would be done in the same way Shiki granted himself the Crystal Style despite possessing no soul bearing that ability and that was through the Soul Transmutation Jutsu. Namely, using it to emulate the peculiarity he detected in Guren's soul.

The procedure would result in mind breaking amounts of pain which he was only able to resist due to the gradual adaptation to increasingly greater amounts of soul rending pain from other jutsu and his different nature after he sealed the contract with Yomi and became a True Reaper.

Thankfully since the one receiving the effects of the jutsu was not its caster as well, it meant that Shiki could use his powerful genjutsu to put her in a trance in which Fubuki would still feel pain since there's no escaping pain straight from the soul but after Shiki released her from the genjutsu she would no longer have any memory of it.

Normally, the pain should release the genjutsu by itself but Shiki's Yominohana was not such an easily broken jutsu and would work until he said otherwise. Only another broken ability could counter it.

It was Shiki's first time trying this on someone he actually didn't want to kill and it was honestly a bother to perfect its use on other, a training session that resulted in a lot of deaths and mental crippling of subjects, good thing that Orochimaru had no lack of test subjects which Shiki took off his hands, it made the process much smoother.

A good while later, Fubuki woke up to a smiling Shiki who just gestured for her to try something. At first she was confused but soon, she realised what he meant and focused her chakra and voilá, ice, made of her own chakra, flowing over her hand, changing shapes as she willed.

'Hmm . . . Since she's well practiced in the use of ice, even before receiving the kekkei genkai, it seems that the abilities granted by it come much more naturally to her than they would to others. Fubuki is proving to be a good investment, I hope she keeps it up.'

Shiki thought as he watched play with ice and snow, her face full of childlike wonder. It was a long standing dream for Yukigakure shinobi to truly wield the power of ice but none had ever developed the kekkei genkai.

The Yuki clan of the Land of Water always looked down on them as fakes and refused to associate with them and they were then annihilated in the Kirigakure civil war which closed that avenue permanently but now, Fubuki had done it, she was a bona fide Ice Style user so she was over the moon with happiness and satisfaction.

Seeing her cute attitude, Shiki once again patted her head which led to her embarrassment once again. Specially this time since her behaviour was truly that of a child but she soon recovered her seriousness and prostrated herself in front of Shiki with the highest amount of respect.

"Shiki-sama! You have my undying loyalty and respect and it will be my honor to serve you for as long as you'll have me." Fubuki solemnly swore.

'I . . . wasn't expecting this at all . . . Like gratitude, sure but this . . .' Shiki thought.

But how could he have known that he had just fulfilled one of the greatest desires in the history of Yukigakure since its founding.

Any shinobi of the village who had learned of its history and mastered its signature jutsus had an inferiority complex about not having the Ice Style kekkei genkai and Shiki just bestowed it upon one of the village's most accomplished members.

'This will have a much greater impact than I thought once I get to Yukigakure . . . I might get a surprising level of bling loyalty from most of the village for the single ability to grant them the true Ice Style. Hehehehe, I love it when things go even better than the plan!'
