Chapter 12: Fun? or Danger?

I didn't know that giving a tour of our campus would be this fun...you see I can sense that there is something between Mika and Kalix that's why I and Ella keep on teasing them and luckily...the squad is participating HAHAHAHHA they look cute together tho hehehe.

"Okayyy so Mika, this is the Main Building of Athena University, on the left side we have 4 big rooms which is the Student Supreme Government Office, Student Executive Council Office, Black Arrows Executive Committee Office and Peace Sentinel Battalion ...Our School is so big that we need three Government and one separated battalion for the peace officers to avoid any fraternity who dare to create one and to handle bullies, those Four are the biggest student body in this University"

Kalix explained the right part of the main floor.

"On the left side we have 6 rooms, these rooms belong to 6 prominent clubs, which is the Advance Science Club, Techno Club, Math Wizards Club, Theater Club, Arts and Design Club, and Student Organizers Club...those clubs always take parts when there is an event or a program here in school"

Welia explained the left part of the main floor

"Now the only room that we are facing now is the University Museum, you know what a museum is right? hehe every year, three collections are be added either the school bought it or its a donation"

I explained the front part of the main floor in the main building.

"Ohh okay got it" Mika replied still looking at the different rooms.

"The second floor is the subjects department offices for Junior High and Senior high, the third floor is for the College subject department and the fourth floor is where the Headmaster's Office, 3 faculty room and one big meeting room"

Eloisa explained the rest of the floors.

"Okkaaayyyy so now we are heading to AW or Athena's Wisdom a.k.a the library hehe...that two-story building is our main library...there are still 4 more libraries. 2 on the West wing and 2 on the East wing"

Ella explained...we are now walking outside the main building and headed to AW...ITS 85 meters away from the main building.

"Woahh the buildings here do have quite a distance HAHAHAHA how many hectares is this university?"

"30 hectares"

Jenelle answered and Mika's mouth formed an O shaped.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, we have arrived at our destination, Welcome to Athena's Wisdom...the main library of Athena University"

Vince acted like a tour guide.

"Hey Vince, you look good as a tour guide...you can quit Engineering and switch to tourism hehehe"

I said jokingly and everyone laughed except Vince HAHAHAHA.

"Am I asking for your opinion? Ms. Future Architech who doesn't know how to draw...HAHAHAHAHA"

Vince fired back and now everyone was laughing loudly hmmm... it's on Mr. Vince Hiroshi Yamato.

"o-ouch? sorry Mr. Future Engibeer whos low in math HAHAHAHAH"

"Whateveerrrrrr you still suck at drawing hmp.."

"Uhh duuhh and you still suck at math lollzzz HAHAHAHA"

"HAHAHAHAHAHA guys enough HAHAHAHA we're supposed to give Mika a tour"

Welia reminded us and everyone cane back to their senses and the little war between me and Vince stopped, we're like this all the time... especially when Mazel, Deanne, and Blaze are around..cuz you see...Selwyn is kinda strict on me and he gets jealous easily even on my friends like Vince and I just miss joking around on them cuz this rarely happens...not when Selwyn's around, Same with Mazel and Russel they're not part of our squad but Selwyn is Mazel's brother and RR is Mazel's boyfriend...

"So here we have all the books you need, we also have the entertainment section where you can find novels, series, manga books, etc..the librarian here is friendly too...she doesn't get mad with small noises and she scolds calmly not like a terror teacher HAHAHHAA"

Ella explained further and Mika was just nodding her head, she doesn't talk much tho but it's fine...if she's gonna stick with us for just a month? trust me..she's gonna be talkative too hehe.

"Now this part in here...in front of the AW Building in the field or the picnic area, chilling area, gossiping area oops hehehe joke...you can do whatever you want in here just put a mat and then sit with your friends and eat or talk...but its Bermuda grass tho so you can sit there even without any mat but its better if you have one"

Jenelle explained...

"Here in the open field area is where we usually spend our free time and eat our lunch together...cafeteria can be crowded when its lunch break "

I continued and inform her that this is our favorite chillin' spot HAHAHA.

"Next on the library about 50 meters away is our two-story science laboratory, there are three science labs in here, one is on the north side of the campus and another one on the science area"

Kalix explained and led us to the next building...we did not go inside because there are students who are having their class in their...more specifically the Med students.

Then we headed next to where the classrooms building which is like 65 meters away from the square open field...first was junior high, next to the senior high and then College...3 huge 4 story buildings each and the distance between the buildings are like 50 meters away from each other and the sides of the building are not empty, benches are surrounding the building and a wide pathway.

We then proceed to the science area where our classroom is located which I 90 meters away from the regular class..there are only 2 wide 3 story buildings and that building is exclusively for us STEM students for both junior and senior high.

"So Mika, the first building is where our classroom is...on the third-floor first room"

Eloisa said pointing at the first building visible...we did tour her around the science area, the gym, the Grandstand, Pool, Covered Court, Inner Court, Cafeteria, Botanical Garden, Research Laboratory, and a few more buildings and facility while talking and laughing until we reached the three abandoned buildings of this school...they say that its the old Faculty building, Research Laboratory and College Classroom back in the 1990s but the school expanded and upgraded abandoning the old buildings...

"It's kinda spooky here tho so let's just go back to the main campus hehe...this part of the school hasn't been renovated yet"

"Yeah maybe we should go back hehe"

I suggested and Welia quickly agreed, I never liked this part of the school and I get scared easily so you can't blame me for suggesting not to explore these abandoned buildings.

We are about to turn our backs on that direction when suddenly Mika didn't follow us.

"What's wrong Mika? you wanna explore those buildings? I can accompany if you want to"

"Yes Kalix...because there is someone in there"

We were shocked and creeped out by what she said.

"u-uh Mika? hehe, what do you m-mean?"

Welia asked.

"What I mean is there is someone who's been abducted and kept on that building in the middle, the one you said an old Research Laboratory Building?"

"What??? how can you say so?"

Eloisa asked...we are all clueless right now and also kinda creeped out.

"You see that red blinking light? if you convert its blinking pattern to morse code, you will get SOS...observe it and you will get 3 quick blinks, 3 long light blink, and 3 quick blinks again"

Mika explained but all of us are still confused, she noticed that we didn't get what she means, she opened her I pad and typed something...dots and dashes.

"The 3 quick blink is equivalent to 3 dots and 3 long light blink are equivalent, you convert it to morse code, you will get

••• --- ••• which means SOS and SOS means Emergency or HELP"

"WHHHAATT??? isn't this just a coincidence??"

Vince asked.

"I don't think so...maybe Mika's right, you guys can stay here if you don't wanna go inside the building...I can accompany Mika"

Kalix said and as much as I wanna say yes to his suggestion but can't just also leave them by their selves in there...what if the kidnapper is around and has a gun jeez...

"No Kalix it's too dangerous for the both of you...we are coming"

"Yeah, it's better if we go inside together"

Jenelle agreed.

"Okay guys... let's go now...we can't waste any time...the kidnapper can return anytime soon so let's go"

"Let's go now, stay close to everyone"

Kalix reminded us.

"I'm gonna take the lead guys...there is a high chance that a trap was prepared inside"

Mika warned us and then took the lead and Kalix immediately catch up with her.

Mika told us to keep our heads low and have a distance from the door.

"Shit, guys keep low...I can see a thin clear string attached to the handle, if I open this, there is a blade that may swing back and forth so please stay low, I'm gonna cut the string so the door can act as our shield if the blade swings"

We safety our selves and did what Mika told us, she then took her hairpin from her hair and for some reason, something clicked in there revealing a 3inch blade, she uses that to cut the string and she was right, and axed swung and hit the door making a loud 'boom' sound.

"AHHHHHHH"

We all screamed except for Mika and Kalix who just closed their eyes.

"It's safe now, we can stand and enter the building"

When Mika opened the door, we are in total shock, even Mika and kalix can't believe what we are seeing right now...

"uhh, guys I think it's much safer if we call the police?"

Vince suggested and worry was evident in his voice, I thought this tour is just gonna be fun but it turned out to be solving a crime mystery and putting our lives on the line.
