Ch . 20
Bruce has made three new inventions . The first one was the spear that can shoot energy beams , the other one was a ring that can create a spherical shield around the user and the last one is for mages , it is a wand that can amplify the quality of magic spells and reduce the consumption of mana , plus two new functions which are shooting energy beams and creating a spherical shield .
By providing these inventions to the association , Bruce got promoted . He received the VIP card , which allows him to buy any thing , paying only half the price , he also joined the research team that only do the intellectual work .
" The launch is ready , young master . " a maid came to Alex's room and informed him .
" I will be there in a minute . " A voice came from the bathroom .
The maid bow and then left . After a few moments , Alex finished his bath , and started wearing his clothes . He stood infront of the mirror .
" Look at me , I am such a cute little boy . " Alex looked at the mirror and started appraising himself .
He then left his room and headed toward the garden .
" Ohh , look at my little baby , he is elegant with these clothes . " Emma was sitting on the dining table with the rest of the family .
" Hehehe , you are flattering me mom " Alex sat on the table and the maids started serving the food .
Everyone was laughing and enjoying the meal .
After finishing the launch . Bruce left home and went to work in the association . Emily and Iris went to their room and played together . Emma helped the maids in cleaning the table .
As for Alex , he went to his room and activated his dimensional key . Then he entered the portal .
" You have entered the elve's forest , your task is to kill the elve' s queen . " The robotic voice echoed in his mind .
" Let's get started " Alex dashed forward , beside him was Lio who has evolved last time , he is now bigger and he has a red horn on his forehead .
Alex detected three people in front of him , he warned Lio by communicating with him through telepathy . He obtained this skill when Lio entered the intermediate level .
" Okay , papa . "
" I told you to call me Alex "
" Okay , papa Alex . "
Alex slapped his forehead .
When he became close , he used his bow and shoot at the elves .
This continued for an hour .
" Shit , they discovered me . " An arrow was shooted at Alex , he dodged it in the last moment and then turned around and ran .
" This is a large group . There is about eight of them and I can't get closer or they will shoot me "
Alex summoned his two kings , they dashed toward the group of elves , at this moment , arrows started raining at them but they didn't dodge they continued their way and fought with elves , they fought bravely until they died .
Alex who was hiding nearby started shooting arrows at the elves who let their guard off when they thought they have killed the enemies .
Alex reduced their number to three and began his close combat attacks , he used magic spells and closed the distance then he used his sword's styles and killed them .
" Phew , I killed them all . "
" Papa , I found the queen , she is in the centre of the forest . " Lio 's voice echoed in Alex's mind .
" Ok , I will meet you there . " Alex moved toward the centre . On his way , he found dead bodies for the elves , they were obviously killed by Lio .
In the centre of the forest .
Alex arrived there , and looked at the centre where there is no trees , there was an elve girl standing there looking at a butterfly that is residing on her finger .
The girl turned her head and her eyes met Alex's .
" Not good . " Alex became nervous , he wanted to run but he couldn't . He could feel a strange power locking him .
A bow appeared in the elve's queen hand then she pulled an arrow and shoot . A powerful wind force headed toward Alex who can't move .
Alex activated his body strengthenning skill , wind resistance and his spherical shield , then the black dragon outfit appeared on him .
The attack hitted his body , sending him flying . Alex got blasted his body was full of scars , and blood covered him .
" Papa , are you okay . " Lio was worry about Alex .
" Don't come closer , she will detect you . Don't worry Lio , I will be okay . " Alex said to comfort Lio .
He then casted his body recovery skill . His wounds started to close but that was not enough . He could still feel pain .
" Damn it , what was that skill , I couldn't move . " Alex stood up , he pulled an arrow and shooted at the sky .
After a few moments , a hundred fire arrow started falling . Alex combined his element arrow skill with raining arrows skill and the out come was satisfying .
The arrows fell and fire covered a wide range . The elve's queen suffered a huge damage .
Alex pulled another arrow and shooted it , before the arrow touched her the queen dodged , however the arrow exploded .
" Hahaha , it fall in the trap . " Alex was happy seeing her suffering .
Ding ~ Ding ~
" The task is finished , you will now receive your rewards . "
