I am still here in the Ignis Syndicate, but I let Jayden go ahead first. I want to talk to Layla about Jayden not recognizing her as his mom. But, instead of complaining and yelling at me, she's only sitting in front of me silently while holding her temple. She looks very stressed, and I don't understand why she's being like that. I mean get it if she misses her son and don't have time for him, but instead of sadness, I see anger in her perhaps.

"What happened?" I asked her, breaking the silence we got here in her office.

"That's what I want to ask you." She answered me and rolled her eyes.

"Why did he not know you?" I asked her, again. Wanting any good answers coming from her.

"Gildrow forbidden me to come near him." She honestly answered. I suddenly felt pity for her, I know I should not have this kind of emotion towards her as she made unforgivable sins to my parents.
