Chapter 34

Crystal looked at the horizon and decided one morning to leave Prince Leon in charge of the Golsend Kingdom in order to go and visit the Crystal Palace.

She wanted to get Aurora's opinion on the situation she was facing.

The journey to the crystal palace wasn't as long as she had remembered it.

She found the two guardian crystal dragon and asked them, "I would like to talk to Aurora on a problem I have been facing and a possible solution but I want her opinion on the subject as well."

The guardian dragons left Crystal with the keeper who couldn't believe how big Nylla had gotten.

"She huge, I can't believe she was that small dragon so many months ago," Sophie said.

"She has been doing a lot of growing but before I forget I want you to meet someone else as well," Crystal said. As she let Starmist out or the rider bracelet and said, "Sophie meet Starmist, my other riding partner, I am what they call a dual rider." Crystal said.

The keeper was shocked at first and said, "Starmist I remember you from the war in Callion," Starmist raised her wings towards the sky and gave a small bow and said.

"It's an honour to meet you one more Sophie," Sophie explained to Crystal that she was one of the Starmist riders during the war.

"The war was terrible, Starmist told me but to me," Crystal replied. "It's over now, don't worry about it, Crystal. What brings you back to the Crystal palace?" Sophie asked.

"Sophie I wish it was true that the war in Callion ended but I am afraid it looks like another one started again," Crystal said. "What do you mean?" Sophie asked.

Crystal explained to Sophie about all the keystone and elemental stones.

The red and green beryl that was also considered a holy flame and that she found evidence that Eione was experimenting by trying to create more green and red beryl including the black diamond.

Sophie was shocked and said, "after everything that had happened in Callion they did it again."

Crystal took a deep breath and said, "more and more dragons have been arriving in Golsend every week and the last group of injured dragons that arrived was four.

"I can't keep up with the number of dragons arriving seeking a home far away from Eione the problem is Golsend can't seem to keep riders and humans out and so many humans arrive in order to hunt and kill the ancient dragons. The last group even made and attempt at my life," Crystal said.

"That's terrible, is that why you came looking for Aurora?" Sophie asked.

"Yes, I believe we need to leave the kingdom of Golsend and completely wipe it off this world," Crystal said.

"I didn't know the problem with Eione is that bad already, do you have a plan? " Sophie asked.

"Yes, the plan is to move to another land that only a few will know of and let the dragon and mythical creatures that wish for peace live there. Once it has been determining that they are saved we take the fight to Eoine," Crystal said.

"It's good to have a plan but how will you fight Eione, he is too powerful?" Sophie said.

"I don't know Sophie but I have to try at least," Crystal answered.

"What about the captured creatures and humans?" Sophie asked.

"We will find a way to free all of them and put a stop to Eione's madness forever but I am afraid some of the mystical animals will never trust humans again," Crystal replied.

"What make's you think like that?" Sophie asked.

"The humans create too many problems, wizards and many other humans experiment on powerful items and they do not take responsibility for there actions," Crystal said.

"You speak the truth Crystal, and what you are saying might be for the best if it means that many of the mythical creatures or dragons will be a lot safer in the future," Sophie said.

The guardian dragon returned from the Crystal palace followed by Aurora and her mate. "Aurora thank you for seeing me so quickly and sorry for showing up unannounced like this," Crystal said.

"The guardian dragon said it was an urgent problem?" Aurora said.

Crystal took a deep breath and explained the current situation to Aurora and said, " the elder, ancient and even weaker dragon, no one is saved not even in Golsend." Crystal said.

Aurora listened to the problem Crystal was facing and the solution Crystal had come up with and asked, "I take it you want my opinion?"

Crystal looked around and said, "yes, you are a dragon queen after all and eventually Eione might even try to control a crystal dragon. That is why I believe we should do some preparations now and find a place that humans or wizards can not find and will never know about the hidden kingdom and only a few will know the secret location," Crystal said.

"It seems the problem Eione has created is affecting many different kinds of dragons and creatures. If we can keep the dragons and mythical creatures save by disappearing to a secret disclosed area it would give us the advantage to fight and put an end to Eione but also keep future generations of mythical creature from ever interacting with humans again. I approve of your idea, do you have any place in mind," Aurora asked.

Crystal took a deep breath and said, "I believe it will need to be a dimension or a piece of land that can be separated by a hidden shield of some sort, but how to create of find such a place. That I am not sure also we are expecting the rainbow ancient dragon's arrival and I am afraid of what Eione might do to her if they find her. Many ancient dragons have already arrived, I do believe we are running out of time," Crystal said.

"If Eoine finds her it would mean the end of all dragons," Aurora said.

Crystal looked at Aurora and asked, "how can I reassure her safety then?"

Aurora looked at Crystal and said, "the only way to keep her save is to find the ancient time dragon. He is said to be a close friend to the ancient rainbow dragon but he will not do this favour for just anyone," Aurora said.

"I'll take the chance if it means she will be saved." Crystal said.

Aurora looked around and said, "it's said his den is in the peak of the highest mountain in Callion, he lives in a secret cave hidden beyond the waterfall, ask him to warn the ancient rainbow dragon of the danger and not to go to Golsend but also ask him to help you find a hidden valley for the dragon and mystical creatures that you can call home. Explain your needs to him and your reasons if he agrees he might help us for even I would leave if it means my kind will never have to worry about the control of any humans ever again," Aurora said.

Crystal left for the kingdom of Callion and all though it took a long time Nylla flew as fast as she could for no harm must come to the ancient rainbow dragon.

Days later Crystal and Nylla found the hidden cave behind the waterfall and entered the cave without thinking of the dangers that might wait for them.

"Hello, timekeeper are you there, its really important that we talk, it's real and emergency it's about the ancient rainbow dragon please you have to warn her," Crystal said out loud.

"Warn her about what?" came an old a tiered voice. "I am taking the test to be the next dragon queen, and I fear Eione has to much power. We have to take all the dragon and any mythical creature that wants to be saved into hiding. Golsend isn't save we need to move the pillars to another piece of land where no human will ever find the dragons or anyone that wants to be kept save as long as humans and wizards experiment with power no one will be saved. Eoine has the same power as the wizards that created the war in Callion," Crystal said.

The ancient time dragon stood up and said, "follow me, young queen," the ancient dragon said.

Crystal looked at Nylla who followed close behind her rider. It was only when Crystal travelled deeper into the cave when she saw pillars holding up the cave wall and there on the other side stood several ancient dragons.

Crystal took a deep breath and told Nylla, "he hasn't found her yet, thank goodness."

Crystal walked up to the ancient rainbow dragon and looked at the dragons that suddenly stood looking at her.

She felt nervous and unsure if she was doing the right thing but then she was reminded of a young dragon that looked a lot like one of the ancient dragons and she knew she couldn't give up now.

"Young one, you're taking a chance coming here now of all times." the rainbow dragon elder said.

"I know but please listen to me please?" Crystal asked.

"I am listening young one but please be quick your wasting my time," the ancient rainbow said.

Crystal was unsure where to start but said, "Please can you tell the ancient dragons to get out of the kingdoms of Avalon and all their neighbours. Eione is a dangerous wizard I have found evidence that he has experimented with the black stone and the red as well as the green beryl," Crystal said.

"How is that possible?" an ancient dragon asked.
