Crystal was nervous about the black cloud and so she and Nylla approached it slowly as they were not sure what to expect. When they got closer Crystal realised it wasn't a normal dragon.
Nylla landed on a small island and other dragon landed on the other side of the island. She placed two eggs on the ground one white and one black and she said, "take good care of them, my dear without them there is no balance."
Crystal watched in shock as the dragon took off again and she got off and walked towards the eggs. "Nylla I don't understand this?" Crystal said. Nylla looked around and noticed a dragon attacking her rider.
She took off and breathed fire the two dragons were locked in a fight and Crystal could only watch at first but it was only when the rider pulled a weapon on Crystal that she fought back.
"You will be my wife?" the man demanded but Crystal would not have any of it and refuse. A fight broke out and it would soon be known as one of the worst fights in Crystal's life.
Nylla took on the dragon and his rider and they fought for what felt like hours. Crystal realised that her enemy was starting to retreat and for the first time she looked around her and noticed how many wild dragons and dragon riders came together to fight back.
Crystal and Nylla returned to the valley where many dragons and riders were being treated for there injuries but what Crystal really cared about what the two eggs that arrived. "I didn't think they would be left here without there mother?" Crystal told Nylla and Starmist as she prepared a nest for the two dragon eggs.
She herself didn't dare touche these two eggs and decided to let Nylla work with them. "Yes, but I do feel that something powerful, within these two eggs," Starmsit replied. That night Crystal and her team looked after the eggs.
"Guys do you think, there's more on the way?" Crystal asked. "Yes, but before this get's worse don't you think we should get the green beryl from the elves?" Starmist asked.
"It can't be that powerful? Can it?" Crystal asked. "Yes, you see Crystal the elves created the green beryl that freed the dragons and ended the war in Callin," Starmist said. "How do we find the elves then?" Crystal asked,
"It's not that easy, they never come out unless they want to?" Starmist said. "How do you suppose we get the green beryl then?" Crystal asked. "I think we do that by asking the only elve we know? she might no know were the elven kingdom is but she might know how to find them?" Starmist said.
The next morning Crystal left Nylla with the two eggs and decided to go and look for Sophie, she wanted to ask for another favour and she had a feeling that this wasn't going to go well.
Crystal arrived at the crystal palace and noticed the number of crystal dragons that was injured. She found Sophie tending to an injured crystal dragon.
"Crystal what are you doing here?" she asked. "I was going to ask for your advice, we found two dragon eggs but there is a catch since we think they might be an ancient dragon of light and dark no human or elve can toutch the eggs." Crystal said.
Sophie looked at Crystal and said, "so they are here already then?" Crystal took a deep breath and replied, "yes and Nylla is keeping them warm for now but I need to know how do you hatch dragon eggs without bonding to them?"
"Why can't anyone bond to them?" Sophie asked. Crystal explained to Sophie that the dragon's power was so much that it corrupts people. You could say its a law that we will have to get used to obeying," Crystal said.
"That's new but what made you think its the ancient dragons that have to much power that corrupt people?" Sophie asked.
Crystal explained her dream to Sophie and asked, "I can only guess what it means but I didn't expect Eione's men to bring the two eggs to us, and then there's the green beryl you elves creates, we need a way to free those dragons and make sure that Eione doesn't get his hands on these two dragons," Crystal replied.
Sophie got quiet for a while and asked, "you want the elve's kingdom location, I take it?" Crystal looked at Sophie and said, "Yes unless you have a better idea, Sophie?"
Sophie got quiet for a while and said, "I agree that we need the green beryl but I won't help you, you need to find them on your own," Crystal was about to protest when Starmist said, "the ancient dragons demand a meeting with you right now."
Crystal took off back towards Nylla who had been keeping all the humans away from the two eggs but as soon as Crystal arrived she saw that Nylla was injured. She looked at the ancient dragons for an answer.
"What is going on here?" she asked. The ancient dragon looked at Crystal angry and said, "how dare you kill the eggs mother," Crystal protested and said, that she and Nylla didn't kill any dragon but the rainbow dragon wouldn't hear of it and to prove her point she destroyed the sacred flame and said, "Get out and never return, if you do return you will meet your end. We dragons should never have trusted you, your mother hunted our kind and you are no different."
Nylla tried to protect her rider but the rainbow ancient dragon pinned her to the ground and said, "now your place young one, we will do business with Prince Leon but not with this hunter who you call your partner," the queen said.
Crystal felt her heart split in two as she let Nylla into the rider bracelet and mounted Starmist. She was about to take off when the rainbow ancient dragon said, "If you approach Prince Leon or his family we will take out your whole team. Leave and never come back!" the ancient rainbow dragon said as she breathed fire at Starmist.
The riders were puzzled at what they saw and they didn't do anything to help. Starmist travelled towards the other side of the border of the kingdom determined to leave the kingdom behind.
Crystal stopped several times to treat Nylla's wounds but it was hard since she had no medicine and she had to look for herbs. It was hard but Crystal and Starmist arrived at the border of the kingdom and she crossed the border without looking back.
Crystal was watching Nylla sleep one evening when Starmist came to her, "are you okay Crystal?"
She found herself looking at Nylla and then at Starmist and said, "No, I am not okay Starmist, make me understand what happened back there?" Crystal asked.
"I don't understand it either Crystal but Furry isn't going to make things easy for Prince Leon considering the ancient rainbow dragon banished you from the royal family as well," Starmist said.
"I know and to tell you the truth I miss Prince Leon a lot," Crystal said. "Did he get to you so soon?" Starmist asked. "Yes, I believe so but we don't have a chance anymore, thanks to the rainbow ancient dragon," Crystal said.
Nylla was waking up and Crystal was busy looking her over when a dragon landed. She had her guard up but when she saw it was Forest she took a deep breath. "Forest, if the rainbow ancient dragon finds you here who knows what she will do?" Crystal said.
"I promised your mother I will look after you and that is a promise I will keep till my death, besides your travelling slower than usual?" Forest said. "She injured Nylla thinking we killed the two dragon eggs mother and out here finding herbs is difficult," Crystal said.
Forest took a look at Nylla and said, "has she ate anything yet?" Forest asked. "No, Starmist isn't a hunter and I am not good at catching fish besides Nylla doesn't do well on a fish diet," Crystal said.
Forest left and soon came back with a fresh dear carcase and gave it to Nylla to eat. She ate it as fast as she could and Crystal realised Nylla's injuries are worse then she thought.
"Forest, what are am I going to do if she needs a healer?" Crystal asked in a shaky voice. "Easy Crystal I think she will be okay but just in case I know where to go in order to find the elves," Forest asked.
Crystal got up and looked at Forest, "will you let me rider you on the way there?" she asked. "Yes, put Nylla's saddle on me and let's go there's no time to wait," Forest said.
Crystal mounted Forest and touched the rider bracelet where Starmist and Nylla were resting, "hold on guys I am going to find help no matter what," Crystal said as Forest took off towards the horizon.
