CHAPTER 7#

On the other hand Jack, the money lender started facing huge problems. In fact his problems were so tricky that his business had virtually collapsed.

Whenever his men went to collect interest from any borrower, they encountered something that stopped them from doing their work. His men got scared and left the place without collecting the amount.

Each time they had gone to do their work, they were similarly stopped by a strange power. This has been going on since the day Robin had died.

Jack's men who had been engaged to collect the money had left, as Jack was no longer able to pay them their wages.

Even when Jack went to collect the money himself, he too encountered the overwhelming strange power and he fled from there.

As a result, a huge amount of money was lying in the market, and even people could not come to his house to pay, because they also encountered the strange power as they reached his house.

Later on, Jack understood this unusual power which was stopping him and his men to collect money, was a spirit or some kind of ghost, and this ghost was of none other than Robin's ghost.

So, the people were naturally afraid of coming to his house. With no income from his money lending business, Jack had to sell a part of his land to maintain his family.

He had two daughters who were grown up and they were studying in college. Jack was however facing acute problem of spending money on their education.

One day, Jack just left his house and stepped on the main road, actually he was going to a shop to purchase something.

But suddenly, a car came and hit him from right side, he fell down, his right leg was hurt very badly and he had to spend on the treatment almost the entire money that he had collected by selling the land.

As a result, his family came to face a very severe financial crisis The recovery of his huge amount from the market became an impossible task as the people refused.

Therefore, Jack had to alternative except to sell his only asset i e. his house.

Tension and anxiety gripped Jack exactly as it had Robin. After his accident, he had to take his treatment, and also had to be hospitalised for some time, but when he came home it cost his sleep.

He was unable to take food properly. At last he had the same predicament as that of Robin.
