Sprini is an average student, but she is also comfortable in Maths because of her brother. Bob loves his sister very much. He often jokingly says as NASA scientist he will perform her marriage in a lavish way, and his sister runs to slap him and Bob will vanish from the place

Besides being a brilliant student , Bob is also a very good Badminton player. He had joined a club where he was being trained by a seeded player. Now a days he participates in inter state match competitions. Many of his friends say that Bob should be a badminton player instead of a scientist.

Bob is now in 3nd year Eng. and Srini is in Ist year graduation. Bob's classmate Richard is his best friend . Both are very close. In the college they are always together. Richard is also a very good student. His competition is only with Bob whom he has been trying to beat for many years but Bob is always on top,

Therefore, he is ever jealous of Bob. Bob welcomes this competition as he says , if there is no competition in education it becomes dull. Bob has a slim figure but he is very energetic, however, Richard has a robust physic. He is muscular and tall.

Richard is very close to Bob's family. He comes regularly and interacts with every body. Some times, he also stays with Bob and studys with him.

Richard loves Sriniy secretly. However, it is totally one sided. She is a good looking , slim smart girl. Particularly, her facial expression , when she laughs, becomes very attractive and draws men towards her.

However, Srini, does not like Richard at all. It is an open secret in her family. She responds to him positively just because he is a close friend of her brother. Richard comes home and sits with Srini and talks to her regularly, sometimes he meets her on the way and takes her to cafe.

So, she has to oblige him and rarely says 'NO'. Richard has, however, taken it for granted that Srini loves him equally . But ,on the contrary, She has made it a point to avoid any kind of intimacy with him.

She interacts like a simple friend. She does not, however, hide this fact from her brother. She told him openly about her attitude towards him. Bob supports her fully. He says.' Be strict with him, just be a friend nothing more than that.'

When Richard does not go to college, he offers to drop her to college, but most of the time she very politely rejects , but once or twice occasionally she has to accept his offer, then .Richard gets a chance to interact with her openly.

In his 3rd year Bob fell in love with a college girl. The girl was a student of another college but she is in the first year. He did not say this matter to any body in his family, he kept it secret. The girl was a cute, pretty looking and she seemed to be very soft.

Bob, however, did not like to make his relationship with a girl an issue in his college. Therefore, to avoid making it a prime matter of gossip in his college , he used to meet the girl at places generally choosen by her, away from his and her college.

Bob became increseasingly busy with his badminton games. He very often started going out of the town and returning after 3 to 4 days.

In the college, the professors are very happy with Bob. He became an asset in the college. They were confident that he would get a rank. Richard continued to be jealous of him, though he was his best friend. His marks were no match to that of Bob's.

Richard's performances sometimes disheartened him. Despite his best effort he could not better it.
