Time stopped

I heard the angels call again

I threw myself a party

Chardonnay and oxy

I stopped the screams inside my head

I remember when you had me

Floating high like Sid and Nancy

They say it's not the answer but I can't carry on

'Cause I got nowhere, no one, without you boy I'm done

And when I'm gone, remember you're the one

And just because I fight don't mean that I never learned how to love

You know devils don't fly

So don't expect me not to fall

Devils don't fly

But God we almost had it all

But I got chains and you got wings

You know that life ain't fair sometimes

Devils don't fly

But I try

"Don't you think the song had a very sad meaning?" Axel asked out of the blue.

To be honest, he felt the same thing. But why does his heart hurt more than it should upon hearing his question?

"Devils and angels were never a match. It's just sad that one of them had to fall for the other. Yet, their nature prevents them from being together. Or rather be friends."

"Do you think the same thing?" it sounded more like a confirmation that he wants to hear from him. Than a mere question someone asked abruptly.

"If you are an angel. And I myself am a devil. Would you still accept me? As a friend, or better yet, your lover?"

The question was followed by a very sweet smile. That noone would ever think of being offensive.

"Are you jealous?" Rain walked to Adam's side like a silent cat. Or adam was probably too pre-occupied to notice. While his eyes linger on the two good-looking people who somehow had taken everyones attention.

"I'm just worried that he'd play Uries feelings. You know how rich, handsome guys do their thing."

"I can assure you, he's not a playboy. And the way he walked towards Urie. I can tell that he's not playing around."

"He's gay?" Mina suddenly appeared like he was about to burst into tears. "How can he be gay? He's too good-looking."

"And what's wrong with being gay and good-looking?" Rain countered.

"That's not the point."

The two continued bickering. While Adam silently focussed on Uries reaction.

He looked calm and comfortable inside Axel's arms. It's as if it was not the first the two of them met.

Even his eyes gleamed at the sight of this tall good-looking devonaire.

He was never like that infront of him. Yes, Urie was always a shy, timid person. But now, he is seeing a very different side of him. The one that looks comfortable being around someone. Like an old aquaintance. Or a long-lost love.

"Why the shock look?" Devon teased Urie. He liked to see his small face blushing like a bride on their her wedding night.

"Aren't you even worried that they might mis-interpret what you are saying?"

He moved closer to Urie's already warm ears.

"If I'm that worried, I won't be walking right up to you. And holding the way I am holding you right now."

Again, he was amused of how cute Urie looks with that jaw-dropping . expression of his.

Angels were never meant to fall

And you were the loveliest of all

If I thought God could fix it

I'd pray for your forgiveness

But I've been cast down, thrown out

When I crossed to the other side

"The song tells everything I wanted to say,"

"What?" Urie thought he heard wrong. But upon looking at Axel's eyes.

He confirmed that he was sending him a clear message.

It's like the time stopped for a moment. No, it did stopped. But Axel was nowhere near bothered about it.

The man lowered his gaze to meet his. And locked it there. A hypnotizing stare froze him still. But it had nothing to do with time being still. He wouldn't move. He doesn't want to. He wanted to feel it, taste it.

Axel's lips touched his soft tender lips. And it stayed there for a while.

Urie felt his world spin in a never ending bliss. Is this a dream? Is Axel Cartilier really kissing him at this moment?

"Axel,"

Like a snap of a finger. Their lips parted upon hearing that voice. A man as good-looking as Axel appeared behind them. That made the latter a bit enraged for a reason.

"Do you know not to disturb me when I'm in the middle of something important?"

"This is important. I really need to talk to you."

The two men stared at each other. With eyes sparring like swords weilding at one another. You would'nt know who comes out to be the victor.

"You make sure that this is not wasting any of my time, or else-"

" I assure you, you would want to hear this more than anything right now." Lucas said to Azazel in the most serious manner he had ever seen.

"Meet me at the study later." Axel confirmed.

As soon as Lucas left, he turned to face Urie's buffled expression.

"I promise you, this won't be the last time we'll ever meet. " I'll be sure to find you again." He left a light peck on one of his cheeks.

Causing a chorusing gasp from everyone who saw.
