Chapter 1: Request of Goddess, Part III

"And so is the story of how the 'Lightning Devour Clan' ceased to exist. The moment before I was killed, I activated the special techniques that I found in ruins, took the family heirloom, and started to run to a distant galaxy and that is why I am here."

"So before I tell you the names of the 3 clans and give you the family heirloom I will ask you, do you want me to send you to another world where the mana in abundant proportions or do you want me to send your soul back to your body and erase your memories about our meeting."

"Kekeke, beautiful lady, you should already know the answer, why are you asking."

"Very well, now I will explain to you your quest, you will be transported to another world with, I need you to ascend into the Divine Realm and exterminate 'Roaring Lion Clan', 'Gawking Owl Clan, and 'Phoenix Cry Clan'!" Said goddess as her eyes burned with hatred when she said the names of 3 clans.

"Be sure to remember the names of 3 clans. Now I'm supposed to give you a family heirloom and to explain what it is and what it does."

John just nodded with his usual creepy smile.

The moment after John nodded appeared one ball of lightning but what was special about the ball of lightning is that it changed colors constantly - one moment it's red, the next moment it's blue, and after a moment it changes to a new color and it does that constantly.

"This is a family heirloom of the 'Lightning Devour Clan' it's called Blank Lightning Core. My father found it in the dungeon but no one in the clan ever successfully absorbed Blank Lightning and everyone who ever tried to absorb it died including my father."

"Kekeke, beautiful lady, well, that seems interesting."

"No one in the clan knows what it does but, we know it has copying properties because when we tried to feed it with other lightning cores after digesting them it showed properties of the other lightning cores on itself for a moment so I believe that ability of 'Blank Lightning Core' is to absorb other lightning cores and then later to manifest those other properties on the fight." Said goddesss not minding that John just interrupted her.

"I will make the connection between you and the 'Blank Lightning Core' there is supposed to be some sort of a test like with other rare lightning cores, but no one was left alive after trying the test to tell the content of the test."

"Be careful, if you die I will have no one to revenge me and my clan."

And as she said that 'Blank Lightning Core' started to fly towards John's head.

And as 'Blank Lightning Core' touched John's head his vision started to diminish and the last words before John passed out were "Good luck."
