During the ride, Stephen and I didn't mumble any words. In the backseat, we have Ethan and Sev which are awfully quiet as well.

I looked upon the internet. I saw that "Papa's" is just like any diner, which specializes in American cuisine. Also sometimes, it says here that he occasionally cooks international dishes in his free time and when he does, he makes it as the special dish of the day.

As we arrived at Papa's. It was the usual American diner; checker-board floor, red leather seats and stools, jukebox on the corner, retro posters on the walls, and neon lights throughout the place. To be honest, it felt nostalgic entering again in a diner, which awfully speaking, I haven't been at one for years.

"Welcome to Papa's diner! As our special dish for today, cherry pie with vanilla ice cream as a garnish!" A waitress greeted us from the counter with full of energy. I looked around the diner and noticed that it wasn't filled with people but some were enjoying a casual cup of coffee who were spending their lunchtime here.

"That's my favorite!" Colin said excitedly. You can practically see stars in his eyes as he beamed.

"Everything is your favorite." Sev said while rolling his eyes at Colin.

"Whatever, Sev." Colin childishly said as he mimicked Sev and made a face.

"Stop it guys. Let's sit over there." Harper said while pointing at the long table that we could all sit at. Together we walked over to the table and immediately ordered food.

They seem to be very familiar with the menu, and know what they want. This also means that they eat here a lot of times before. I just ordered the usual burger with fries on the side with a chocolate milkshake.

"It'll be my treat today!" Ethan said while raising his designer wallet proudly trying to help Colin lighten the mood.

"Great! Now I'll order as much as I want." Colin said devilishly, he obviously had planned on emptying Ethan's wallet today.

"Oh and I'll be ordering for take-out as well." He added. See what I mean?

After everyone was done ordering, Colin on the other hand was still not done ordering. I think he was ordering every dessert on the menu. Which made Ethan look at him weirdly.

"What's the sweets for?" Ethan asked.

"It's for stress. I've seen a study that says sweets are a very good thing to eat for one to relieve stress, so today we will be eating sweets. I've ordered a variety of desserts and milkshakes enough for everyone!" He happily said.

"You love sweets, don't you Sev?" Asked Colin.

Sev grinned in response.

"Of course I do! Especially sweet pus—" Harper said as she cut him off, she knew all too well what Sev would be saying.

"You mean, pussy?" Sev asked obviously annoying Harper.

"Of course not! You pervert!!!" Harper exclaimed.

As soon as we received our orders, we began to eat. I ate a lot of things today. After the burger and fries, I ate the desserts that Colin ordered for us, which was today's special menu, a cherry pie topped with vanilla ice cream, then I drank the chocolate milkshake that I ordered. I also ate banana split ice cream and 3 brownies which are on the house. I mean already know that this would be bad especially when I eat too many sweets. I have this adrenaline rush inside of me that causes me to do unimaginable stuff.

"Holy shit." The tone of Ethan's voice caught the attention of the gang and looked at the direction from where he's staring at me.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

"Bye!" Sam bid goodbye to some of Papa's diner, she then walked through the counter area and asked the waitress if she can braid her hair. The waitress on the counter nervously smiled and agreed anyway.

"Yay! I never did this before. You are too kind. Are you Janet from The Good Place?" Sam asked as she continued to braid the waitress's hair.

"Should we be worried?" Stephen asked.

"Sam tends to act courageously when she eats a lot of sweets." Ethan replied while scratching the back of his head, as he regretted not remembering this thing about Sam.

"What did she eat?" Vince asked as he looked at her seat with plates that were supposed to be filled with desserts now vanished.

"She ate the cherry pie, 3 brownies, chocolate milkshake, and the banana split that Colin ordered." Harper eyed Colin and he shot up his hands in defense.

"I didn't know she would go ballistic!"

"Not ballistic. Just uhmmm, I'm having a hard time to describe her..." Harper trailed off as they all now looked at Sam wearing an apron who is now serving coffee to everyone she sees and curtsies when she's done.

"... Crazy Innocent Woman" Sev continued bluntly as he was still in shock.

Papa, the owner of the diner just looked at Sam. The presence of Sam amused him, and inside him, he was amused by her.

"I like that girl! You should bring her here all the time!!" Papa looked at the gang and laughed wholeheartedly.

The whole situation is just peculiar, they didn't know what to do. The gang was having a mix of emotions on whether they should enjoy seeing their friend having the time of her life or whether save her from the embarrassment of her lifetime. Sam who is now seated beside a cop is having a pleasant conversation with him.

"I like your beard you know." Sam said dreamily.

"I see, I like your hair too." The officer laughs at her.

"Should we stop her? Give her coffee or something" Sev asked worriedly.

"That would just make her more energetic." Vince answered.

"I kinda like this kind of Sam." Ethan commented while Colin who sat beside him nodded his head in agreement.

"Yeah, the carefree Sam." Colin agreed.

"Guys, I think we should take her home, for now, she wouldn't be able to study if she goes to school like that." Harper said. They all looked in Vince's direction who was still looking at Sam as she wiped the windows. Vince noticed the looks that he's getting and looked at the gang.

"What?"

Vince acted clueless, as if he didn't know anything. Little did he know, the gang was already updated on their situation.

"Take her home." Harper ordered him finding it hard not to grin.

"And why would I? I don't even know where she lives." He replied all of them raised their eyebrows and looked at Vince suspiciously, the rest of them are trying so hard not to laugh right now.

"Dude, we know that you live with Sam." Stephen said. They all laughed as they saw Vince's shocked expression.

"That girl." Vince just gave up, he knew that lying was pointless now.

"Sev actually saw you two entering her apartment after his session with his girls." Ethan said. Vince looked like he was about to give his soul to the devil because of embarrassment. He didn't want them to know it that way.

"If you don't want to take her home, I can." Stephen said calmly. While playing with the leftover crust on his plate.

The gang couldn't believe it, Stephen just suggested taking Sam home. Stephen was known to be a person that doesn't want to meddle with other people's lives. For Stephen, to offer himself to take Sam home he must know her address. Well, Sam didn't call him a stalker on the first day they met for no reason. Still, they were all shocked, even Vince was surprised

"No, it's okay I can manage to take her home." Vince said sternly.

"You just can't leave her home alone given her current situation. I'll take her home and stay with her until you come back." Stephen said now looking at Vince's eyes as if he was testing him.

The gang looked at the both of them suspiciously, there was definitely something going on and they couldn't put a finger on it, even Harper who is an expert at these things couldn't even understand them.

"I don't want to disturb you with your studies, I'll just bring her home and stay with her." Vince firmly said not breaking eye contact with Stephen.

"I already spent almost the whole day with her today. So there's nothing that you'll disturb." Stephen said and smirked at Vince.

"You spent the morning with her?" Asked Ethan intriguingly. Everyone but Ethan had the balls to ask that in this situation, and they were thankful for it because as for them they were curious too.

"Yeah, because Claudia pulled her hair and threatened her. This caused her to lose her eyeglasses, which she didn't have any extra pair with her that's why we're out of school." Stephen explained.

"That Claudia! What a bitch!" Sam said angrily while she's mopping the floor.

"I'll give you ten dollars for your service today and a cherry pie in the house." Papa smiled at Sam and she grinned back.

"Really, Papa?" The gang saw Sam with her twinkling eyes.

"NO!" All of them except for Vince and Stephen as they heard what Papa will be giving. Papa was taken aback by their sudden outburst. "She's like that because she ate too many sweets, apparently she loves your dessert." Harper said sweetly which made Papa smile while the others nod as they agree with her and smiled with their brightest smiles.

"My wife makes it! I really appreciate that you love it. I'm gonna tell my wife." Papa left with a big smile on his face, which made them sigh in relief.

"Sam let's go." Stephen announced and got up from his seat. Sam looked at him weirdly.

"Who said that you'll take her home?" Asked Vince.

"No one did, and just to be clear I will take her home." Ethan said firmly, he still hasn't forgotten the scene that they made at lunch.

"Where are we going?" Sam said smiling and giggled at the same time.

"Home." Replied Ethan.

"Wait a minute!" Sam brought out the chocolates that she got from the paper bag full of sweets. Stephen widened his eyes if that was truly the chocolates that they bought earlier.

"I'msorryStephen." Said Sam she wasn't fully able to say the words because she just burped.

Sam started to walk towards Colin. "My dearest Colin, what the hell did you just order?! But thanks for the sweets, in return here's the chocolate of my love and I just love your freckles. You look so cute." Sam grinned at him and gave him a chocolate. Colin sighed in relief that it was a happy ending, if it wasn't he'd probably get beat up by Sam.

"Sev, you pervert! Change your mindset, okay? And stop looking for girls cause you already have me." Sam winked at Sev who was obviously stunned by her actions.

"I know guys dig for breasts," Sam looked at her chest and measured it with her hands. "I know mine's not that big, but you can always hold it."

Everyone was baffled, they knew that there was no point in saving her from embarrassment. Sam, who was having the time of her life, gave the chocolate to Sev's hands and winked at him again.

"Did anyone take a video of it?" Colin hopefully asked.

"To my dearest, Harper! I love you with the whole of my heart! You made me feel special and I'm thankful for meeting you." Sam smiled and Harper grinned back, even though she was still shocked at what Sam said to Sev, she smiled and accepted the chocolate.

"To my older brother that I've never had! I'm just as thankful for you, thank you for everything and listening to my stories, don't just go to any girls okay? Go to me! You, Sev, and I can have a three-time thing you know." Sam giggled and gave Ethan the chocolate.

"Now we're talking!" Sev said happily and in return, Harper slapped his back.

"To Stephen, I am super super thankful for today! And oh the chocolates are from Stephen. Without you, I would've not gotten Claudia out of my hair ." She gave Stephen a bar of chocolate and hugged him.

"Oh Vince, move out of the house, please!!!! But if you do stay, please wear your slippers! Here's your chocolate! And stop being a class-A brat! As long as you live in my house, you follow my rules!" Sam stomps away at Vince satisfied with her actions.

"If you had a good time at Papa's thank you so much, don't forget to pay your bill and to tip us as well! Thank you so much!" Sam said proudly and bowed. Sam immediately then walked up to Papa's and said her thanks, gave him chocolate and kissed him on the cheek.

"Ethan we can go now!!!!!" Sam said demandingly. Ethan followed Sam on her way out, he was worried that she might just go on the road instead of hopping inside of the car. Vince and the gang followed them outside.

Ethan and Sam were already walking in the car while Sam was clutching on to him, whining not to go home yet. Vince just eyed the two like he was sending lightning at the both of them. Harper noticed that Sev was still looking at the chocolate on his palm and laughed.

"Right now, I have regrets that I didn't take a video." Harper said and Colin agreed.

"She is really something," Sev said as they waved goodbye to Sam and watched the car vanish into thin air, the rest of them decided to return to the academy.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

The rest of the day was a bit entertaining for Harper and Sev, since they usually have classes with Vince in the afternoon. Both of them noticed that he was wide awake and was looking at his watch every second. Harper and Sev just laughed at him, now knowing the reason why.

Harper and Sev said their tea to Ethan and Colin as the four of them met before going home.

"I swear, he likes Sam." Harper declared.

"He does not!" Colin said, based on how he treated Sam yesterday he still couldn't believe that he still had the audacity to live with her.

"I think he does." Sev murmured as Vince passed them, as he was walking at an unusual speed. Ethan in return just shocked his head in disapproval.
