Shirou’s First Day Of School

Shoes, tie done correctly by himself, uniform just tiny enough, and breakfast with his little sister...

Shirou Emiya was really loving it up as cooking was a hobby Illya really liked about him. He seemed to be unable to bring himself to believe that his life could be so happy with such a close-knit family.

His father made sure to see them off to school everyday, and today was the first time that old executer really tried his best to motivate Shirou to do well in school. After all, he believed Magecraft shouldn't be something he did as a full-time gig.

Taiga also ate heartily before leaving first so she could set-up a few things for other students today.

The redhead youth with a hero complex went to school and saw Rin and Sakura on his way there.

His 'Harem Protagonist Ex' Skill activated!

"Shirou~! Want to walk with me?"

"Sister, don't you have other things to do?" The more milder sister gave a smile that read:

{This guy is mine! Buzz off and go get your own!}

"Hey, I have dibs above both of you!" A white-haired girl who had her 'loli syndrome' cured thanks to Kariya's power hugged Shirou's back. He was feeling extremely complicating at the moment.

He remembered seeing a future self that would die for the affectionate Sakura Matou, a future where he was kinda dating the beautiful Rin Tohsaka, and a future where he went full hero complex before bonding with the Heroic Spirit of King Arth- Artoria.

If Heroic Spirit EMIYA gets summoned this time, he really wanted to give that guy a piece of his mind...

Anyway, the redhead being pulled in three different directions by the trio of girls invited the envy of those around him. Two of the most beautiful girls in school along with a Russian-looking albino chick fawning all over him made some of them cry...

How can a man be that lucky...!?

Of course, what they didn't know was that 'Harem Protagonist Ex' Skill has yet to truly show its full capabilities. After all, there was also at least two Servants who fell for him in the Holy Grail War he saw in his visions (that being Medusa and Artoria).

Little did he know that Kiritsugu's lady killer luck was passed down non-genetically to his son, with the added bonus of the people he cared for not dying a brutal death by the hands of a crazy priest.

Shirou's introduction was a wild one, as it seemed like all three of the girls head over heels in love with him 'coincidentally' were placed in the same class as him. He also saw a familiar face, which was the successor of the Ryuudou Temple, Issei Ryuudou.

Everything seemed to be going along smoothly until he noticed someone he hadn't been expecting to see outside of his visions. Even with his mouth covered by a mask and a hat worn on his head, the curly blue-haired youth was instantly recognised.

"Shinji...?" His exclamation got mixed responses out of the trio who were fawning over him.

Sakura seemed delightfully surprised to see her brother again, Rin looked disgusted yet mostly indifferent towards him, while Illya was more curious to see how he'd act, as the most she knew of him was when a future self of hers killed him.

He also looked quite pathetic in that vision...

"You know, I really didn't want to stand out..." Shinji sighed as he lowered his mask to reveal his face.

While he looked a lot similar to the youth in their visions, there was something about his personality that seemed less like an emotional wreck that was scheming and conniving sometimes. It was to the point Rin had second thoughts about how she decided to treat this blue-haired youth she met for the first time, but not quite changing her stance...

"You guys, heads should be facing forwards!" The teacher interrupted them before they could talk.

Shinji found it to be uncomfortable to be stared down by the people he knew so well. Even though he was now part of the Burial Agency and was tasked with keeping watch for any strange activities in this school, it was nerve-wrecking when Illya stared at him so intently. This was especially true due to the changes he recognised.

While Rin looked mostly the same and Sakura had her black hair returned a long time ago, Illyasviel von Einzburn looked completely different with how she had grown large enough to be a teenager.

He remembered someone telling him that this girl was older than Shirou, so how did she end up in the same school year as him...? He was just happy that no one seemed to want to attack him after seeing the 'betrayer' that joined another Agency.

In their lunch break, he was planning to run off to the cafeteria to eat something before being dragged by everyone to the school rooftop. The four classmates of his interrogated him harshly.

Of course, he told them the truth:

"I was told to join the Burial Agency." (Shinji)

"What for?" (Rin)

"Classified." (Shinji)

"Can't you tell us?" (Sakura)

"Uncle made me promise to keep it a secret." After all, there was a lot of things he wanted to stay hidden... Such giving Kariya information about Bazett Fraga to get her to join their ranks before the Grail War began and how he assassinated Atrum Galliasta to save those young girls the man had been preparing for the Holy Grail War.

With this, he had secretly gotten someone who was originally supposed to be Caster's short-lived Master killed before the Grail War started and got the original Master of Lancer on their side. So long as nothing strange happens to them, everything should work in their favour now that nearly all the potential Masters of the Grail War was on one side.

Little did he know that this exact situation had caused an unforeseen phenomenon that the Greater Grail was processing. The limiter for the amount of Servants that could be summoned in the newest Holy Grail War was released silently.

"So you're a Vampire Hunter now~?" (Illya)

"A Dead Apostle executer to be precise. I am also considered a heretic to the Holy Church currently."

"That sounds really bad....?" (Shirou)

"That's why I want to lay low, also..." He turned his head to look at another albino girl who seemed to be watching them from the door: "Who is that girl and why does she seem related to the Einzburn?"

"That's Kairi's 'revived' stepdaughter, Lucia. Hey you, why not come over here to introduce yourself already?!" Rin shouted, causing the shy girl jump out and now heavily to everyone who was present.

"H-hello, m-my name is L-Lucia S-S-Sisigou!" The girl introduced herself using a lot of her willpower.

Shinji was surprised as he couldn't remember her.

"And 'Kairi' is who exactly?"

"A necromancer who works for the agency." Shirou was also surprised he didn't know who that was.

"We have a Necromancer?!" And not only that, the fact that this girl was a Necromancer's daughter made it clear that she also came from a lineage of Magecraft just like himself. He hadn't thought such a variable existed outside what his knowledge...

"Excuse me, no one is allowed here." A really boring and ordinary voice called out to them.

All of them except Lucia were shocked as they saw Kazuki walking around like normal. From what they all knew, this Master of Caster who fought most of them in the Grail War from their visions should be part of the Ryuudou Temple by now. Though none of them had the guts to confirm it as the fear this assassin caused them was above that of Caster.

This was the very same guy who went toe-to-toe with Artoria and nearly killed her once (granted, it was also because Shirou really sucked as a Master in those visions). The group silently listened to this strict teacher of without complaining one bit.

Might as well confirm it when they get home, right?

What needed to be stressed was that Harem Protagonist Ex worked on Lucia as well, which added the Holy Necromancer girl to his harem because he was kind to her this one time in the past. Yep, that's basically all there was to it...

Well at the very least, it was fortunate that Rin didn't turn into a Hot N' Cold Tsundere Pseudo-Girlfriend and Sakura was normal instead of a incessant stalker that had real deep love for him.

The amount of times he slept with Sakura in that third timeline was enough to make him wonder if he had any obligations towards her unlike Rin or Artoria. It might seem unlikely since that was a vision and the only reason they slept together so many times was because of their physical conditions at the time (with him needing to 'do it' with her to survive after the third timeline's war).

However, the gentle-hearted girl didn't seem to want to hold him accountable for the kind of relationship one of his future selves had with her and she came off pretty likeable on top of it.

It was to the point he wondered if she was some sort of incarnation of love and compassion...

Not that he was wrong in any sense as Sakura held a particular 'love' towards him that was so heavy that he would probably be unable to bear knowing about it. It was as heavy as Parvati's in Hindu mythology with how devout her faith in him was.

She loved him dearly, and would probably listen to any request he had to offer whether it be good or evil. The gentle-hearted girl was similar to her mother in a sense as she saw herself as a traditional woman who abided by old stereotypes.

It was the husband who was the man of the house and the wife who lived to support him, she was even fine with him gaining any second lovers as her love was so deep it could accept such things easily, so long as she came first in his heart...

Yep, her love was too heavy...!!

It was a good thing he was still a little dense and spent all his time fixing things for random people for literally no other reason than his survivor's guilt gnawing at his heart. He also mastered his 'Unbeknownst Glory of Illusion Projection' and 'Magic Resistant Reverse Flow Reinforcement' Spells so he wouldn't be a burden like the person he was in his visions where he knew nothing...

Whether it be about being a Magus, his father, the reason for the tragedy of his past, etc. He knew a lot more now and wanted to show his worth as a Master when the next Holy Grail War came around.

There was a lot he needed to prepare for, and a lot more he needed to figure out the next Grail War...

Hopefully, nothing will happen in the meantime.
